Just a quick 2 hour lunch with friends!
Great for kids ! Awesome drinks for parents !!!!!!
We stopped in on President’s day for a late lunch. The walnut salmon was outstanding. Sydney was a great server and we always enjoy talking with manager Erika. She really makes you feel welcome.
It was very cool in the room, main dish was good, but the salad (chopped wedge) was a step down. The soup for $9.00 a bowl was a looser. Lobster bisque and I had to search for the one little piece of lobster. I would return again only not order the soup and a different salad. Main dish was good beef medallions and shrimp...
We went on Valentines day. Staff was inexperienced and waiter very over stressed. Service was slow do to our waiter having to room to tables in 3 different rooms. The waiter himself was very nice and try his hardest.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Atmosphere and service were great. The minestrone soup was inedible but the chicken and gnocchi were pretty good.
We had a wonderful meal last weekend. Great ahi tuna, lobster bisque soup, filet and shrimp! Great service- great place!
WG truly follows covid rules! Guests were spaced out appropriately. In fact they are making use of their private dining areas to assure comfort and safety. We enjoyed our Valentine meal! I had the New York strip steak that was served hot and done to perfection. My husband enjoyed the lobster stuffed ravioli meal special for Valentines Day. He hopes to be able to order it again. Our waitress was quick to serve us and returned to our table to see if our dinners were to our liking. We really enjoyed our meal out at WG as we generally cook at home or enjoy occasional takeout.
Always have a good meal here. We've been to multiple locations and quality has stayed the same. Only concern at this location is the main door keeps slamming shut. We were close to the door so we heard it slam anytime anyone entered/exited. Need to get that fixed! Still wont deter me from coming again though.
Good meal, varied menu that gives many options but not too big, reasonably priced.
Love the breakfast options. Server is always friendly and on top of everything. Would recommend to others.
The food was excellent- the crab cakes were delicious and the steaks were cooked perfectly!
Nice atmosphere, great appetizers and craft beers.
The food was pretty good. It took a really long time for our food to arrive. I think this may have been a fluke.
Although the restaurant was at less than 50% capacity it took an 1 1/2 hours from the time we sat down to get our meals.
When I arrived I did not have a table and Walnut Grill blamed it on Open table. They told me there was nothing available and said Open table does not always check the restaurant for availability before accepting a reservation thru open table. After arguing with them they finally gave us a both. They told me to call the restaurant to make a reservation and not to use open table.
It’s a good happy hour spot. Tough to be objective with COVID-19 but our food was fine and server was friendly but not as attentive as I would like. I recommend dining in the bar. It’s a very good atmosphere, especially when we get back to normal times.
Great place for a night out, great happy hour specials and great food.
Wife and I ordered two hamburgers. Waitress asked us what temperature we would like I ordered medium rare and wife medium. Both burgers came out extremely overcooked. French fries were horrible as well.
Gentleman at the table next to us ordered 8oz filet... he actually laughed when it came out it was so small. Looked like the size of an Oreo cookie.
Last time we booked table for this restaurant a few weeks back... when we arrived for our reservation they told us at least a 30 minute wait ??
Don’t waste your money at this establishment.
Average food, good service, poor wine selection. meh
We frequently dine here outside. There were only two waitstaff present for the entire inside and outside.?service extremely slow. Beer on tap was flat and going bad, we’re out of some of the choices. Food came in staggered stages
Our server was great but the place was freezing!!!
Kevin was great as always
We got to sit in the heated outdoor part of the restaurant and watch the Steelers game. It was nice to celebrate my birthday. I did use a birthday coupon but didn’t get offered a birthday dessert like I have in the past. I think they were just busy and didn’t pick up on it. The food was delicious and served quickly.
We stopped in for Veteran’s Tuesday and were warmly greeted by Jocelyn. Our server Jesse was attentive and knowledgeable. My Filet was cooked to perfection by chef Adam. Another excellent visit to Walnut!
I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED . WE LIKE WALNUT GRILL A LOT AND EAT THERE OFTEN.WE WERE VERY RUSHED .THE FOOD WASN'T PREPAIRED VERY WELL ,THE ROLLS WERE OLD AND TRYED OUT, THE GREENBEAN CASSOROLE WASN'T IT WAS JUST PLAIN GREEN BEANS AND NOT DRAINED AT ALL AND THAT MADE ALL THE OTHER FOOD VERY WET WITH PUDDLES ON THE PLATE. THE STUFFING WAS ONE BIG LUMP .OUR RESERVATION WAS FOR 3 PM AND WE WERE BACK HOME BY 4 PM.WE STILL LIKE WALNUT GRILL AND WILL EAT THERE AGAIN BUT NEVER AGAIN FOR A HOLIDAY AGAIN.
Thanksgiving dinner, they were understaffed, our waiter was good but slow due to overworked
Food is average but service was excellent. If you are really hungry and don’t want to wait in line then this is your place.
We stopped in for a late lunch on Sunday afternoon. I had a fish sandwich and my wife had her favorite salmon BLT. We both had the soup which was an outstanding shrimp and corn bisque. Our server, Melissa was excellent and GM Erica stopped by to see how everything was. It was another great visit to Walnut!
Sunday lunch after worship. Great walnut crusted salmon & crab cake.
We went in for the Veterans Day promotion. I had the 6 oz Filet. It was outstanding. Our server, Jesse, was friendly and astute. We also had a visit from our favorite bartender Jocelyn and Manager Erica. Erica actually sat down with us and asked how everything was. We feel like family at Walnut Grill. Keep up the good work!
Excellent cheeseburger and prime rib sandwich. Server was very attentive. All staff were masked, which we appreciated.
Food was great the waiter was very argumentative several times during our visit always look forward to the dessert but skipped it tonight just to get out of there
Good food but.....
We went to Walnut Grill, Wexford on a Saturday. While they posted 50% occupancy, they appeared to have a whole section of their space closed. Where we were was definitly NOT safe social distanced. The waitstaff wore facemasks but that's only part of the equation.
I went to the restroom during our stay. I had to pass by the bar where I observed people unmasked and sitting close together. They were having a good time but this certainly put a damper on our experience.
Would not recommend if you care about yourself or others you may come in contact with.
It took us 50 mins to get our appetizers. They were left under the heat lamp so long they were rocks. We ordered a steak medium, it was well done with absolutely no seasoning. We ordered a lot of food and it was just an all around bad experience.
all in all fine. food was good. service was fine. as expected
Timing was terrible although inside of restaurant was still at 50% capacity. Our appetizers were fine, waiter was personable... however, he then forgot to check on us for extended periods of time. Our food came out late and was clearly under a heat lamp for a very long time. Medium rare steak came out well done and gray (after sitting under a heat lamp), fish was destroyed and hard as a rock, sauce had a thick skin over it. The waiter did not check on how our food was for about 20 to 25 minutes, so by then I was done with the little I could eat of my meal and my husband, who didn't touch his steak, didn't want to wait for a redo. It would have been nice for him to put something else in when the steak came out badly so that he could eat dinner. We were offered dessert, my husband got creme brulee... it came out very late again, ice cold. After hearing great things, we were very disappointed, especially since we had a reservation.
Overall very disappointed
Great happy hour prices Mon-Fri from 5-7pm. Outdoor dining was perfect.
