Walnut Grill - Bridgeville Ratings and Reviews
Two couples met in the middle, distance-wise, and had a very nice and relaxing dinner. We enjoyed everything from the drinks, to the appetizers, to the meals themselves. Our server was readily available for refills and/or questions, she was on the ball. We will definitely return again for another special occasion.
My husband and I both enjoy Walnut Grill for dinner. I have been there for both breakfast and lunch with lady friends also. Really have no complaints. Food is always quite good. Also enjoy having a glass or 2 of wine in the bar before dinner. Service is always good also.
Made reservations for my mom’s birthday for 9 people. Where we were seated it was hard to hear each other due to the ventilation system being above us- every time it would turn on that’s all you could hear. Our waitress was awful, she would take our drink order and disappear for fifteen minutes. The restaurant was not crowded either. When we got our food, my mom and aunts dinners were cold and looked like they had sat out under the heat lamp for awhile. I have a good service background so I know. When they told the waitress, she disappeared for another 15 minutes. What was supposed to be a nice out for my family to celebrate my mom was awful.
Had dinner there Saturday evening w/friends
Marsha was waitperson-never refilled water/beverages- a LOT of fat & gristle in chicken mushroom - husband ordered double vegetables instead of starch - order was wrong - screaming kid in table behind us - wouldn’ t recommend dining here on the weekend.
Ou waitress, Diane, was fantastic. She knew the menu and could recommend meals. Her service was swift and correct. When we go back, we will ask for Diane. She mentioned that it was half price bottle night, which is a super idea for the middle of the week. Loved the evening there tremendously.
The evening started with 1/2 off wine by the bottle but 1/2 bottles were not included. When asked to purchase two 1/2 bottles at half off told that was not allowed. Kind of disappointing. Ordered the pork tenderloin, paid $2 extra for a "loaded" baked potato. Came with a little melted cheese and two little and I mean little white containers of butter and sour cream. Not worth the up charge. The Brussel sprouts were poorly prepared. Worst meal ever at a restaurant that's typically pretty good. Long time before I go back I'm afraid.
We much prefer this location to the one in Robinson. The staff is more attentive and personable and the over all tone set by the management is incredible. You pay for what you receive here, an excellent meal with amazing servers at a fair price for the great and fresh ingredients. While we weren't sure if we would return because of the other location this IS a must go to on your dining list. ask for Marsha she is incredible and helped us with our appetizer choice. The brussel sprouts were phenomenal.
Absolutely Fantastic! We had Matt as our server and he was a joy to have, very sociable and friendly to all of us even cracked a couple jokes to keep the mood going. Bernadette who was the manager at the time, was also fantastic. She talked and also joked with us during our meal. Defiantly one of the best experiences ever at any restaurant with food and most importantly customer service. These two deserve recognition and I will defiantly be back to that location and making sure I ask for matt!
Walnut Grill was a favorite restaurant of ours. We were there Saturday night and it was empty!! Quality of food and menu choices have gone way down. Wrong menu at the table so after we finally made our choice was told we couldn't get what we chose! Was supposed to look on the other side of menu!! Baked potatoes and sweet potatoes very bad and was not the first time! Very disappointed.. it will be a long time before we go back.
The food is always good, but Matt, our server, made the evening even better. When I asked about the wine, he was able to make a suggestion and brought a sample for me to try. He was attentive without being annoying. I noticed him glance frequently at our table to be sure that we didn't appear to need refills and he only asked if we needed anything at appropriate times. He was personable, knowledgeable and efficient. You can't beat the combination of well prepared food and servers with personality. I find this to be the case any time I dine at this location.
The food was very good! This restaurant is always good at accommodating my wife who has many food allergies including dairy and gluten. Our waitress, Ray, was exceptional. She was thorough, knowledgeable about the menu, and very good with her service. She wasn't bothersome, but she would come to our table "here-and-there" to see if we needed anything. My wife and I had a very good dining experience which is one of the reasons we frequent this establishment!
We were seated outdoors and the ambiance was very nice. There was live music, but not too loud that you could not have a conversation. Service was excellent. The food was so-so. The flatbread had way too much cheese to have any flavor. The quesadillas were sweet, with grapes inside. A little different for sure. Some may like this variance, but it was not to our taste.
We were seated immediately but we had reservations also. Our waitress, Holly, was exceptional. The food was very good, as were the drinks. However, the place was not that busy and we waited a long time for our food, from the appetizers, to the salads and soup, to the main course. It seemed like there was almost too much staff, a lot of them just standing around and walking around. But, all in all, a good dinner and we will go back again.
