Wahso has three private dining spaces. The main dining room seats up to 110 guests, the fireplace room 55 guests and the chandelier room 35 guests.

Very formal ambience, nicely appointed. Nice selection if wines. Crusted salmon was delicious. Uninspiring over-abundance of noodles. Tofu entree was the only vegetarian choice - also seemed very bland, no spices. Was flat/tastless. Enjoyable deserts in creative presentations. Waiter was very patient and helpful. Deserved a nice tip, despite several entrees seeming over priced for the attention to taste.
I'm a Park City local. Wahso has been a special place for us - unique cuisine and cozy, private dining options. But Wahso has gone wow with a new chef and some changes to its menu which take the food to a new level. The new black cod preparation has a lusciously light curry base, which embraces the added mushrooms and rice into a single delectable dish. My godson enjoyed a perfectly prepared rare filet mignon - how rare it is to get such a fine piece of meat cooked exactly as requested. The new field greens salad should not be missed - and God Bless Wahso for keeping the Coconut Margarita just as it's always been. Wahso has always been pricey - but well worth the special occasion. With the new chef, this meal is an experience worth paying for. Request a booth if you want true cozy privacy. And ask for MacKenzie if you want perfect mountain service, knowledgeable about the new menu and chef. What a lovely, delicious evening! OMG almost forgot to mention the Coconut Creme Brulee for dessert. I don't even like creme brulee but tasted my godson's and was wowed ... again.
After having Wahso as our go to Park City dinner place the recent menu change has given us second thoughts. While the left side of the menu maintains its great appetizers, salads and soup with some tasty additions, the right side of the menu has shrunk with less offerings. Gone is my go to black cod. Instead is a black cod curry dish that did not impress. The game hen is an interesting and tasty dish but may work better as a boneless chicken breast. Gone was the wagyu beef. Instead a filet with less interesting, everyday fingerling potatoes. We love Wahso but will look closer in the future for the menu offerings.
The food was not prepared well. I have had better Asian food at chain restaurants. The only vegan dish was Tofu Udon. The tofu was squishy and gross. It basically became a bowl of very expensive noodles. We also had two types of fish and the fillet mignon. It was not better than I've had at chain steakhouses. The only notable attribute is the downtown Park City location. Otherwise, skip this restaurant.
Our table was perfect for the six of us. The waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. The menu is very interesting. Everyone liked their main course but two of us did not care for the rice side dish that accompanied the man course. It seemed as though the rice was undercooked and while it may have been prepared according to the recipe, was overpowered by the mint that seemed to dominate it. I think there should have been some more fresh vegetables served with the main course. Still, all in all, it is a very nice restaurant especially for a special occasion.
The restaurant is beautiful and perfectly located in the heart of Main Street Park City. The cocktails were great as well. I think our experience suffered as the hotel was also host to a large wedding rehearsal dinner the night we visited. Our waiter was attentive but the kitchen was backed up. It took a LONG time to get our food and mistakes were made (one dish was completely wrong and the rice in another was old and dry). It was a very expensive meal and I guess I had higher hopes than what we got. Our waiter did warn us about the other party and we should have listened and gone somewhere else.
I have been to this dining establishment many times. They advertised that they had a new chef. One of their traditional appetizers is Chinese Buns. My son has always enjoyed the Pork Buns. Besides the price going up the food just was not steaming or that substantial. He had ordered two of them and did not even want the second one. They still offer their Fried Won-Tons with Curry-Mustard dipping sauce. They are still just as good and light as air.
They had a new Duck offering which I really enjoyed. The confit that was served to accompany the leg and thigh was very savory.
My wife has always liked their Black Cod. It is now served in more of a cream sauce which she found to be a nice alternative.
The ambiance is very Asian and quiet in one of the alcove booths where you feel the place is all yours. Service was a bit slow. If you are able to utilize one of the 2 for 1 offers found in the local Park Record then the value is pretty good for a high end restaurant.
We had an outstanding dinner experience at Wahso this week - we sat outside on a gorgeous night in Park City. Our waiter, Aguilera, was friendly and helpful - we followed all his suggestions and loved each one! The chef is new, having arrived maybe 6 weeks ago from a highly rated restaurant in San Francisco, and all of the food reflected his culinary skill! We had both the shrimp appetizer and the crispy pork belly "buns" for appetizers, along with their delicious homemade wonton chips. Our entrees were the duck, chicken and black cod, all served attractively in large oversized bowls. And we also enjoyed a coconut creme brulee for a dessert - on the house as we were celebrating a birthday! All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the ambience and would put Wahso high on the list of restaurants to try in Park City!
Our family has been going each year when we visit Park City for the last four years. It is always delicious and the menu changing. Asian inspired cuisine with excellent children options beyond the usual chicken fingers. Upscale decor with a casual vibe. The booths are private and fun if you can secure one. A must when in Park City!
We have eaten here 6 times. The food this last time was dry, burnt filet mignon and fish.
My husband and I were terribly disappointed.
The martini was so watered down it was like drinking a glass of water.
Each time we've eaten here it's been worse than the time before.
That's it. We will not eat here again
We went to Wahso for a 57th anniversary. Wahso was delicious and service was very good. We were on time and seated right away. We sat in the front dining room and were very comfortable until all tables became full. There was one particular large party that became very loud and obnoxious. Now this is not something Wahso directly controls but perhaps there's a way for the Maitre'd to control the noise volume so not to ruin the experience for others. I would highly recommend Wahso as one of the nicest restaurants in PC and hopefully you won't be joined by a very vocal group.
Things have gone down hill for Wah So. Used to be a 'must go' option in Park City. The food was only OK, with the Cod entree served being subpar. The restaurant was barely 1/4 full; highly unusual given that most other options on Main Street were packed and reservations scarce. Sad to see, but a redo of the restaurant and chef is probably in order.
We received outstanding service and great food. If you don't like spicy, you might want to let them know. We sat at a booth which was enclosed by a curtain. We felt like we were the only ones there, it was wonderfully private. Our waiter was extremely personable and made great recommendations. Nice sized portions, even leftovers. Excellent dinner on our ski vacation.
Having dined at Washo on numerous times, I have to say I was quite disappointed with our meal and experience this last time. The service was slow, it took 15 minutes after my fiance was seated before she was greeted by the server. The beef, which had been my favorite and go-to meal, was average and the rice and broccoli sides were completely unappetizing. I'll give them another try as I truly love the Bill White restaurants but I have to say that it was not a great night.
In our past visits to Park City Wahso has always been a dinner stop for us. The setting is delightful and the food has been wonderful -- except on this last visit. I ordered the Black Cod. The (medium size) fish portion was quite fine, but the accompanying bok choy was unchewable. My wife's kobe steak was so salty from the rub as to be unappetizing. Her entire dish, rice and all, was overly salted. Also, the steak had a lot of fat and ligament. My strong recommendation would be to go for the filet instead -- which many diners seem to have chosen.
We did point out the problems with the food and the restaurant did adjust the bill, which was appreciated. However, in the future we plan to be more careful about what we order.
This "was" one of our favorite spots in Park City. Our family has been going to PC for 20 years and Washo was always a special dinner for us until this year. As one of Bill White's premier dining spots, it has become disappointing. The waiter forgot to put in as appetizer order, he forgot the soup courses for three of us, and the meals came out at different temperatures. one order with the bed of roasted brussel sprouts was burnt so bad it was inedible. One order was so overcooked and the salmon was so hard and dry that it was sent back. The gentleman who cleared the table after courses was rude and ill trained. He reached across people and also would cleared 2 people at once from in between them instead of the proper side. Be prepared for "usual" service and food if you go there.The prices do not warrant this type of a dining experience.
This is the best restaurant in Park City that I’ve been to in 10 years. Very creative and large portions. Share the appetizers because they are very large. The Chile Seared Hamachi is the best item on the menu. We also loved the Pork Short Rib Ramen soup. The Duck was also an extremely large portion and flavorful. The wines by the glass are sufficient for the whole dinner, considering paring different glasses with the different dishes. Anyway the wine list is good and fair prices.
The desserts are also very filling, which we decided to pass on. The table next to us had the chocolate cake which was a beautiful presentation.
Service was very good and always smiling.
We will return.
Ate here while vacationing, nice ambiance, seated in a booth. We had the steamed Chinese buns, chili seared hamaci and Vietnamese spring rolls as appetizers. All were good, Chinese buns being the favorite of the group. Probably would pass on the seared hamachi which was served cold. I had the miso black cod which was excellent.
