   The restaurant was not busy so there wasn’t much ambience but we didn’t mind that. Service and food was good, we were celebrating my twin daughter’s 25th birthday, I put this on the booking but there was no mention of it until we commented about it to the host. My daughters were kindly given a dessert to celebrate We thought look bland and uninspiring and did not reflect the food. Photographs/pictures would be good along with some colour and clearer pricing. Also maybe advice on the heat/spice of dishes. Overall we enjoyed it.

   Food really good and fresh. Service great, drinks delicious. Some new choices on the menu.

   Beautiful food and excellent service. We had the feast meal for two which was a great way to try lots of dishes.

   We have been to Wahaca as a family a few times before and have always been very happy with the food and service. However today we had lunch with our 8 year old twins and the fish fingers that were served to my daughter were very undercooked and almost completely raw in the middle. The waiter was extremely apologetic and we were given a replacement meal free of charge and the original meal taken off the menu. However, it did unfortunately taint our eating experience and I was concerned that my daughter had already eaten raw fish finger. A real shame as the rest of the food was very good. The temperature in the restaurant was a little cold and some of the food took a while to come out. I would be a bit hesitant to return anytime soon.

   As always, the food was exceptional. First time we had been to Wahaca Cardiff and we couldn’t fault it. Friendly staff. Great decor. Pity the lift was out of order as my husband has trouble with stairs and the toilets were on top floor. I’m sure that will be put right soon though.

   Lovely meal! We were mixed group of 10 that included meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans all catered for splendidly ( own menus for vegetarians and vegans- other restaurants take note!). Service was friendly, accommodating, efficient and speedy. Food was delicious What's not to like!
