Wagamama (Nomad - 5th Avenue)
it’s not just japanese, chinese or korean. it’s a fresh take on great asian fusion food.
our exec chef has been travelling extensively across asia, selecting his favorite flavors and recipes and has given them a modern, nourishing twist, the wagamama way
we believe in eating informally | on long communal benches | together with your friends | when you want. come from work. come in your gym clothes. we call this nourishment from bowl to soul

Really good, casual ramen and other bites. I went with my teenage, so it was perfect. Really liked to bao bun. The food comes out as it is ready which makes for a somewhat choppy eating experience which was the only negative
Super rude service! Arrogant and unwilling to answer any questions regarding the menu. Gave incorrect info and refused to acknowledge their mistakes. Total incompetent and manager didn’t seem to wanting to apologize either. Such a shame, having lived in London for 17yrs this used to be me go-to but it obviously didn’t translate to this branch.
Excellent ambiance, food & drinks, value--and wonderful servers. Thank you! A favorite for relaxed, unpretentious Asian-fusion dining.
good food, but they forget to bring a plate that was ordered
The experience is alright.
Great food, but some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Wrong orders, had to ask multiple times for ice, one person didn’t get his food until the other three were were finished eating theirs.
Food was good.
Service was nice.
Was a little late and they still accommodated me and my son for our meal.
It was wonderful experience eating at wagamama. Me and all my friends like the food. Bang bang cauliflower was awesome. Firecracker dish really put fire 🔥 in my mouth. But then Ginger ice cream saved me.
Definitely going again to wagamama.
Always great food at Wagg
Great food!! My boyfriend got the duck ramen and I got the chicken, big portions, food was delicious and service was quick.
Good food but very loud. My chicken ramen was quite bland. But amazing drinks!
Our server Margie was the best ever! Thank you to her for making our meal a highlight of our trip!
Delicious. Lot of vegan & vegetarian options. Good ambiance.
Service was okay, our waiter was very nice. Food came out before drinks, it was a little too fast. We ordered appetizers and then entrees, but got our entrees first. The rice in the donburi was room temp, pork buns were okay, duck ramen was a little too firm and bland; but the chicken yakitori was pretty good. Cocktails were average. If you’re looking for sit down fast food, this place is good. But not if you’re anticipating an actual dining experience.
We have been to Wagamamas all over London many times. Sorry NYC you need work. Food was good. But service - awful. Your waitress was TERRIBLE. And rude. Not just to us but overheard her with others too. If your goal is just to smash as many customers in as possible / then A+! Other than that-👎🏼
The food was great though the waiters kept bringing other tables meals to our table....
My wife and l were in New York for Valentines and popped into Wagamama for a bite to eat. I had originally booked a table for 8pm but we arrived at the restaurant early and the staff were brilliant at accommodating us. They found us a table there and then and we were able to enjoy our meal a bit earlier than expected.
Good food and interesting creative cocktails, the noise level was a little bit higher than I like but it’s not too loud.
Amazing service. Servers were very kind. I will go again!
Excellent food , as always
Dinner with friends. Beef bulgogi was good.
Looked after us well
Food was quick and tasty. Good prices.
Great staff and food. I never have complaints about wagamama, everyone needs to experience this for themselves.
The place is a big so be warned that it can get really loud. Music is also loud. The service was excellent. no complaints there. Food was decent. Rice was cold for example.
The food was delicious and the wait staff was great! They were very accommodating with ingredient substitutions. The place was on the noisy side. And they kept bringing us foods ordered by other tables. That was hilarious.
Dining experience was amazing. Will definitely come back here.
The only problem is the seating even if you make a reservation for a table they try to sit you on stools at the communal tables. Also it's very very loud, I would not call it energetic!
The highlighted menu item that they were advertising outside was not available. They should either REMOVE the signage that they have that item or tell you before you sit down that they do not have it. However, telling us that they do not have the main promotion as we are ordering is awkward and annoying - I would not have eaten here otherwise. Also, they accidentally sent us a chicken dish instead of tofu. I am vegan so had the runner not noticed that everything ordered for the table was vegan other than this one dish - we would have had a very unfortunate event. since the chicken was not visible through the sauce.
We dined on Saturday night at Wagamama. I would say it was ok. It’s upscale fast food. Lots of variety/variations but the flavor profile was kind of bland. You do get a lot of food for the money so it was decent value. Our waitress while helpful didn’t really help us choose any strong dishes. Made me feel like everything in the menu was just ho hum.
Great food and service. Lots of choices
Wagamamas is part of wvery NYC trip we take. Always great!!
Lighter and cleaner ramen than traditional. Desserts and drinks were good too!
The place was packed at 1pm. Took a little longer for the host to seat us. The waiter was knowledgeable and helpful. The food was excellent as usual. I’m going back again.
Fresh food, fresh service, fresh ambiance.
Great Dinner for the whole family and good value for the money.
It was a fairly nice place our waiter I think his name was Eric was very nice and glad to have a nice person such as him
LOVED IT! Best Wagamama experience I’ve ever had.
The food and service are always so good! Never disappoints
