We were a party of six, with early dinner reservations pre-show. Had an amazing meal; three of us tried the seasonal vegan sticky ribs which were fantastic, and all the appetizers and drinks were great! Definitely coming back and if there is delivery in the area where my office is, I will be a more regular repeat customer.
The layout of the restaurant was open and decorated nicely, simple and contemporary. Everything was clean, and the staff was great. We had a great experience.
We went for Valentine’s Day and everything was great. The soups were so delicious and had a lot of noodles to fill you up.
Great food great service
Great food and super fast service. Best broth ever.
Always perfect. Food never disappoints and my kids love it!
We had such a great night celebrating a birthday - the service was outstanding! We’ll be back! Thanks!
Good food. I liked the ramen. Tasted a noodle dish that was bland
The food, drinks and ambiance were all amazing! Made for an excellent girls lunch away from the office. 100% coming back, again and again!
My pad thai was a little undercooked but I would go back to try something else.
We love this restaurant, the food it’s delicious and our server very attentive!
Always good food, servers were great.
Very accommodating for a large party of 14! The food was great and the staff was even willing to split the bill. Will absolutely go back here!
First time at Wagamama, won't be our last. Delicious and excellent value.
great service .. very nice, and very attentive to us
Relax ambiance and great food. My kids love the children’s menu
The food is good and it is nicely designed space. Recommend the ramen soups!
Jackson the server was very attentive. The food was delicious.
God food in a bright lively atmosphere
They had no clue of our Opentable reservation at the front desk.
They sat 3 of us in an 6 sitting table in the middle of nobody while nice 4 table spaces were available for non reserving guests.
Then they came again to ask our name on the reservation
A nice place for lunch. Food was good as well as the service.
The space is open &: beautiful. The food was very good & the staff were so friendly and efficient.
Ample menu, delicious food, great service. Would definitely recommend.
Absolutely delicious food. Ramen was great, gyoza delicious too. Service was charming and prompt. Only criticism is that it was uncomfortably noisy with the kind of music I personally cannot understand anyone wanting to hear when they are eating. But I'm an old curmudgeon. I recommend the food very highly, it was delish and a good value for the money. Fresh, bright flavor and plentiful portions.
Great food and drinks
We had 4 different servers serving our table which was confusing and a little disjointed. All of them individually were great.
I've been to Wagamamas in London and Dublin; the Murray Hill branch is the nicest. It was refreshing to be in a space with a high ceiling that decreases the noise level considerably. Our waiter was genuinely warm and professionally reliable. There could have been more vegetables in the bowls--the servings were a little sparse, and I'm not a huge eater--but all in all Wagamama is good value for money, especially in midtown Manhattan. Very pleasant and a new go-to staple in midtown.
Came in with a large group (11!), Staff was very accommodating and we had a great time.
I love the food but I may spend more time ordering from them.
Have eaten there entwine but too many bugs/flies at the table.
Kills my desire to stay in and eat.
The food is great and their hospitality is amazing. We always enjoy their creative cocktails.
The service was not good. Waited a long time for a soda. Food was ok - some dishes too spicy.
The food is tiny portions and super oily. I got the crispy cauliflower - it was doused and floating in oil. My friend got the gyoza dumplings. Embarrassingly small and tough. The servers aren’t really smiley or nice. I really wanted to like this place bc outdoor Asian eateries are rare in nyc but I came away disappointingly annoyed.
Service took forever and food had no flavor. Will not be going back.
Its a good Asian fusion place.
Some of their dishes are spot on, but some are either too spicy or too bland. The fried duck gyoza is a must try, as well as the chili squid. The firecracker is a little too spicy.
The juices are top notch, try the tropical one with mango, orange and pineapple (cant exactly remember the right fruits) . Their cocktails are not something I will dish out the money for, it is expensive and tastes experimental.
Service is good when you get in, albeit they can forget about you through out your meal.
Unfortunately I had to send my Katsu curry back because it was served cold. The service is spotty. The food is good when it comes out hot.
Great atmosphere and great food! Perfect location
Beautiful day and got to sit outside which was a bonus. Fresh, well prepared food, not overly spiced. I had the chicken + shrimp raisukaree with brown rice. It was excellent.
Not great if you have one hour for lunch. The food can take 45 minutes for one person and 15 for another
Server alerted us that meals for different people would arrive at different times, as the dishes were prepared at different stations (there were three of us). No a problem per se, but the second order came just as the first person was finishing their meal. The third meal did not arrive within an hour, at which point we got the check (with one person leaving the table hungry). They asked if they should wrap the missing order to go, but didn’t manage to do so in the next ten minuets either. No discount/compensation offered on the bill (except that they did not charge for the dish that never came). Just a faint “sorry”.
Won’t come back.
one of the dishes ordered was with no chicken and there was chicken in it. when I told the waiter he smiled and said sorry. Luckily the person eating didn’t have any allergies BUT if a mistake like that was done with my food I would have had a serious medical issue.
I have been to this location numerous times and find that the food is great. Everything comes out as it’s ready, so newcomers definitely be aware of this. I’ve seen plenty of people complain or get confused about some people’s entrees coming before their own but they state it right on their menu and the server usually makes that clear as well.
Speaking about servers, the service at this location is hit or miss. I had amazing service the first time, terrible service the second time, and great service every other time.
If I received that service on my first impression, I would have never come back.
The second time I came it took nearly ten minutes every time I wanted to flag down the server, however we were sitting outside and they only had one person staffed to the outdoor seating that night. This included waiting twenty minutes to just get cups and water for the table and then the same delays for ordering and finally getting the check.
I understand that they may have been short staffed that night or somebody may have been a no-show for the outdoor waiter crew, but there were plenty of waiters inside that could have been moved around easily to work the outdoor shift.
Every time that I’ve sat indoors it has been great. The management should figure out a method for distributing waiters during the summertime when outdoor seating may get packed.
I can’t speak for other locations but I love this spot and will definitely keep coming back. It’s Asian fusion but literally everything is customizable in any way (within reason). Need something gluten free, want it spicy, or want to sub this meat for that meat and get it with no veggies? Whatever you want, they’ll make it happen.
I’ve always wanted to try their desserts but am usually too full after appetizers and entrees, maybe I’ll have to come in just for the Panko fried banana!
