The service was excellent, they were happy to make changes if you needed them. We enjoyed our meal very much!
Service was great. We had a table for 10 and we did not have to wait long for our food. The wings and Calamari were good along with the main course. The fresh pressed juices were also great.
I had such a great experience, can't wait to return.
A perfect place for a healthy and tasty dinner. Will be going again soon.
Great service & food!
Great food and plenty of options. Sone of the dishes were a bit spicy for some of us, but overall we enjoyed the food. Definitely worth the price!
Great service and an asian restaurant that actually serves good Asian food. Will def dine here again when Im back in New York
Great service, amazing food, and already want to visit again!
Music was insanely loud. Service was incredibly slow. Food was mediocre and entrées came out before appetizers... the place appeared to be in mass confusion even though it was only 1/4 full.
So we were big fans of Wagamama from our experience in London, when they opened in NYC we could not wait to try it. We got there and after being seated it more than 20 minutes for a waiter to come to our table for the first time, and that's after I went to the host and told her that no one came to take any orders in more than 20 minutes. Then a waitress came and she was nice an apologetic. She took our orders (Drinks and food). My plate came first and it took another 10 minutes or so before my wife and kids plates came. My wife's chicken was under cooked and that's really bad when it comes to chicken. My dish was OK but barely had a half a breast of chicken. My son's steak dish was barely warm even though it was the last one to arrive. We complained and they gave us free dessert but overall we were disappointed with the experience.
Great place and great food! I was amazed to get a reservation for 10 people the day of. Our server did such a great job and the dishes were really unique. Definitely loud, but a great experience overall!
People were ok good
But lack of service professional, so many food were not ready to prap, over all down below
My second time in two weeks to this location. My opinion has not changed. It is still a wonderful restaurant.
Ok for casual dining. Not for conversation or lingering.
Service shockingly poor, only ordered two mains (as the starters we wanted were not available) and they came almost 10 minutes apart. I was almost finished mine by the time my wife’s was brought. Manager stated it was because of the way the kitchen is set up?????
Food was good though
Food and service excellent. The restrooms were not clean. The music was loud with a tinny sound.
Great lunch spot.
Healthy and tasty food.
And the price is right!
3 of us went for an overdue lunch. Got a booth, staff was on point and extremely welcoming. Orders were accurate. Food came out hot and quick. Had ramen and gyoza. Ramen was pretty good. Gyoza was decent, and with very tasty dipping sauce. Overall solid experience. Will keep coming back.
My first time at this location and my lunch companion's first time at a Wagamama! Everything was very much to our satisfaction!
Service was very slow; food and cocktails were bland and underwhelming.
None of the food was very good. The pork belly bao had an apple slice on it (which is mentioned on the menu) that didn't work well. The wait staff threw out our leftovers after we asked them for a to go bag because it was practically a full entree's worth. They did provide a replacement to go. Prices were reasonable but the poor food and mediocre service made the overall experience not worth it.
I’m not sure if this is a restaurant. It was more like a Chipotle. The food was reminiscent of a fast food chain at best. The service was non existent. It was just me & my husband eating. We ordered the same drink. Only got 1. We ordered a bunch of shareable plates. We weren’t given any small plates to eat on. Getting anyone’s attention was nearly impossible. There were like 5 different people bringing the orders to the table. Looking around it seemed like the staff had no set role. Everyone did everything. It looked chaotic. I felt bad for the staff. And the food didn’t even make up for it. It really wasn’t good. I wouldn’t go back even if it was free and I wouldn’t recommend this place.
Needed to ask for music volume to be lowered. Service was spotty and we frequently had to wave servers over to ask for things like water, to order a second round of drinks, to ask for serving utensils and plates since we had specified we were sharing the dishes, etc. Food was mediocre and not very flavorful; and some of the fish was undercooked. Cocktails were very good.
it was vey much okay, not great in any way. i would not recommend.
Waitress was a bit confused- duck ramen was a bit saltier than usual, portions also seemed smaller, I’ve been to all wagamama
In Ny , Boston’s& London w55th was not great overall,
If you don't know, waiters recommendations were great.
The restaurant looks lovely- huge space. We ordered ramen which arrived room temperature. Drinking glasses were served with water spots all over- appeared to have just come out of dishwasher maybe? We were delivered incorrect food three times during our lunch and were brought the check twice by two different servers. Seemed disorganized. Food was fine but room temperature ramen is disappointing.
nice asian fusion, brought to us quickly & happily. not the best i have had but not bad at all. a friend arrived late & was able to get a salad w/salmon in time for us to go to the theatre.
Although the restaurant was quite empty and there seemed to be a fair number of waitstaff the service was indifferent. We were handed a check after the main course and had to ask for a dessert menu. Then there was a long wait for the dessert. Also, the elevator to the restrooms downstairs was creaky and scary. Altogether a disappointing experience at a restaurant we had enjoyed in the past.
Great! Definitely enjoy the bang bang cauliflower - delicious! I opted for the ramen and also really enjoyed that. I was happy to see so many juice options because as a pregnant person, there are not always fun N/A options on menus, so it was a welcome surprise. They did not have the up beet, but the mango juice I had was a great substitute!
Would definitely go again. I love this location! Good service + food
Food was great. Service was not fast during either of our two visits. Also, both times, the wait staff brought an item we didn’t order (a drink the first time and a dessert the second) and said something to the effect of “thought you’d like this” and it was on our bill. Don’t get me wrong, Delicious, but both times ended up paying for things we didn’t order.
Much too noisy!
We had Darhiana as our server and she brought the vibes. And we were sitting right next to the open kitchen. Damn they know how to move. We had a great time with really good food. 😊
Great setting and food for a fair price.
irst time we tried the West 55th Street location as I normally go to Wagamama on Third Avenue which is consistently AWESOME. The food was great and the servers friendly however the table coverage was slow and there weren't that many people dining at mid-day on Saturday. Also, I had mentioned that one of us had a birthday and nothing was done... I thought perhaps a candle might have been put into one of the deserts. Apart from this, would definitely recomment as a pre-matinee option on weekends. LUV Wagamama!
We arrived just as the restaurant was opening so it was empty. Our order was taken and food served quickly. We usually avoid chain style restaurants but were pleasantly surprised as to the quality and taste of the dishes we ordered. We ordered chicken katsu curry, duck wings, pork belly bao. Wow. The duck wing appetizer was amazing. Fresh, crispy, with wonderful wonderful flavor. The pork belly bao was even tastier. We should have just ordered all of the bao appetizers and skipped the entree. We look forward to trying more dishes.
I loved everything at wagamama!
Great vibe, delicious food, great service and amazing staff.
Price vs quantity of food is uneven. The main courses portion is somehow poor. By the price paid you could eat a lot better elsewhere.
