The hostess who welcomed us was like a ray of sunshine! Our waiter, Wes, was exceptional! Bot, the GM, is masterful in how she runs this restaurant experience seamlessly! The food is simply delicious and plated beautifully! Can’t wait to return for another culinary adventure in perfection♥️

Loved this great new find! Fantastic food and service. Lovely ambience just the best - it’s my new favorite! Highly recommend it!! The only downside is finding parking - so go early as you will have to drive around a bit to find a spot!

Being warmly welcomed by Liis, Taj and/or Josefina at the reception desk is a great start to an amazing dining experience. Seated, you can enjoy craft cocktails or our favorite, Drunken Whale Sake. We always look forward to our first course choice - spicy tuna with crispy rice. Yum! A perfect combination of flavors. Follow with the Yellowtail Special - thinly sliced yellowtail, a bit of a bite with a tiny jalapeno slice and a lightly flavored olive oil. Lovely. We finish off with Tiger King, a roll that includes salmon and sashimi grade tuna. For the two of us that is plenty of food. We park on 4th street and walk a block and a half. Easy. You won't go wrong with adding Wabi on Rose to your list of favorite dining experiences.

We had an excellent late lunch at Wabi on Rose. Every dish we ordered was excellent. We ate outside and it is very quaint. We loved it!

Very yummy sushi! Unfortunately we had really poor service. No one came to take our order (or even introduce themselves as our server) for over 45 minutes. We had to get up and go find someone at the bar to ask if someone could come help us order. We were told when we initially sat down that they do 90 minute seatings, so we had that in the back of our minds and were worried we would not have enough time to eat once our food arrived due to this extreme delay in service. Once someone finally did come, there was no acknowledgement for the delay in service or apology for how long we had been waiting. For these reasons, I do not know if we would choose to return. However once we were served, the specialty rolls were very good.

This is a great place to eat when the weather is nice. It has excellent outdoor eating and a nice bar to have fun with friends or on your date. The staff is exceptionally kind, and they are knowledgeable about the menu. This is not the place to come and eat and watch any game on television. I'd you love sushi and good drinks, this is the place.

Food was pretty amazing, but service could have been better. Our server kept disappearing for long periods of time so we had to flag down the bartender, a busboy, and the hostess for service. By the time we got our actual server to come back again he said it was too late to possibly order the items that wanted. Maybe next time since the food was great and I'd love to check out more dishes.

The Brussels sprouts were good. The spicy tuna on crispy rice was just ok along with the yellowtail. Service was warm and friendly and quick in the beginning but then as it got busier it took a lot longer.

Had our anniversary dinner there and it was simply a amazing from start to finish. Had the omasake and every course was fantastic and the servers were ALL friendly and attentive. Left with a full happy belly and would definitely come back for more. Till we meet again.

Shocking. The table we got felt like an afterthought and like we were given the child's table even though we had a reservation. The vibe of the place seemed incredible, if only we felt a part of it from the poor place we were placed (next to a fire hydrant and red parking zone that was very busy). The service was severely lacking and only felt "important" the moment I handed them my credit card. Food was good but not worth the extravagant prices. Maybe we would have liked it better with proper atmosphere and a more engaging wait stuff. We won't be back. Not at all impressed.

Loved it!! It was our first visit and I was a bit apprehensive given some of the mixed reviews about service, food quality, etc. - NONSENSE. So happy we went! Immediately upon arriving they took good care of us (even granted our request for a preferred table), our server was great - kept the food and drinks coming (and when we were on the fence about a couple of dishes, his recommendations proved to be spot on!). Finally, the vibe/ambiance (sidewalk seating) was the epitome of a lovely and beautiful CA dining scene. Thank you for such a memorable dining experience! We cannot wait to return!!

The Brussel Sprouts were the best preparation I have ever had. The poke bowl was excellent. The servers were friendly and helpful. The food and drinks came out a bit slowly. Normally that would be a good thing, but the 90 minute limit meant we had just barely finished when our time was up. I expect this will be a favorite of mine.

Loved it! We live in the neighborhood and somehow hadn’t eaten here. We loved Wabi Sabi when it was on Abbot Kinney and the food here was also delicious. The only thing that was a little funky - that we’re not used to in Venice - is the hostess telling you that you only have 90 minutes! As it was we were there for longer but it was a bit weird to be greeting with that admonition. Other than that - A+++++ all around.
