Such a cute date spot! Their service is really good, there were a lot of waiters bringing your food and checking on your drinks. The food was really good. We tried the yellowtail special and the I highly recommend the Tom Yum soup. it was surprisingly delicious and filling! The only thing to not order is the Wagyu dumplings! They are completely tasteless, doesn’t even taste like wagyu.

Our service was horrible. It took 40 minutes just to get sake. The food was whatever. Waiter was really nice but I guess overwhelmed.

I felt the sushi was so delicious! And I am a sushi snob. The restaurant is very pretty and lively. It was a little loud, but conversation could still be had. The food was the highlight and the service was great, everyone was very friendly and the food came out right away. Cannot wait to go back.

Food was mid. Ok flavors ok quality not bad not impressive. Service was terrible, drinks forgotten, staff ignored us had to ask for everything twice maybe 3 times. Prices where unreasonably high. On par with Bev Hills or Hollywood but not nearly as good food or service as any of those restaurants. Resturant was beautiful, but not worth the money.

This is one of my favorite sushi spots in LA. The restaurant is beautiful, and I love the outdoor seating, especially on the patio. The cozy couches on the sidewalk are also lovely. The Lychee martini was a big hit, and all of the rolls are fantastic. There aren't too many options for non-fish eaters, but enough that everyone is happy (dumplings, fried rice, chicken karaage, steak skewers). And if for some reason the tempting desserts at Wabi don't suit you, there is Jeni's ice cream right next door!!!

overall my dining experience was pretty average, the sushi was a little bit better than average but for the price i paid i would expect a little better… i also made my reservation a day in advance for 2 but yet we were seated at a 6 person table by the busy street

First time there for my birthday dinner and it was sooo good. The food was honestly amazing. At first I was skeptical because I didn’t wanna be let down cause the photos they took look so amazing. But they honestly lived up to the expectations perfectly. We were all surprised by how amazing the presentation was AND how amazing the food tasted. All in all it was a great experience and definitely satisfied everyone

Wabi on Rose is a unique experience. Most tables are intimate and offer an opportunity to feel somewhat private. The menu offers sushi that rivals the best traditional sushi bars in LA. You can also choose from a number of creative offerings. Standouts were crispy rice with tuna, marinated black cod and the tiger roll. Leave room for the outstanding desserts. Wait staff is attentive and caring.

This place is wonderful. Most of the seating is outside, but they have heaters at almost every table so it was pleasant. The sushi was amazing and so fresh. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town.

Not as good as we’d hoped, not terrible. The table smelled like a dog had gone to the bathroom nearby. The miso soup was crazy salty and lacked seaweed. Anthony Bourdain said that was a bad omen - that if a restaurant couldn’t get miso soup right, their sushi would be no good. In this case, the sushi was solid, but not outstanding amongst LA’s offerings. The service was lacking. We constantly had to clear our own dishes and make room. Employees would stop by, see the dirty dishes, and still leave them there. Overall, solidly meh. I wouldn’t say to avoid, but I wouldn’t come back.

Ambience and service were great. Food was disappointing this time— from shishito peppers which were way too hot to eat to a Midnight roll of overcooked fish, to sashimi which wasn’t at the peak of freshness or quality. Last meal I had there was far better.

Went to Wabi a few years ago and thought the food, ambiance and whole experience was great for date night. Came back last night and was disappointed. Seems like quality and presentation of the food went downhill dramatically. Sushi was nothing special, tasted kind of like supermarket sushi. Definitely not worth $30 for a roll. I had to ask the wait staff multiple times for items, seemed like they had their head in the clouds. Loved the whole set up and decor from before but seems like they could use a refresh. Was fine but wouldn’t come back.
