Great food offerings that were prepped conscientiously. More to offer than your run of the mill sushi restaurant. We had the chef’s sashimi selection which was very fresh and beautifully arranged. My new favorite sushi place.
Great fresh food...little pricey, tho
always a treat. had tekadon, was a delicious lunch.
This is an incredible spot hidden away in Casselberry! I absolutely adore Wa Sushi!
Great quality super fresh ingredients
Authentic and relaxing. Food presentation was superb. Taste, price, quality and quantity was true to Japanese standards.
Open table table took my reservation. But when we showed up , they don’t take reservations through Open Table . So no reservation meant no table and zero accommodation for the error. Not my problem was the response from the hostess and sushi chef . Poor all all accounts .
Enjoyed the variety of menu items available. Drink selection good. Will go back to try more items!
love how fresh the ingredients are, the sushi is also excellently prepared, our meals were quite memorable
Great and authentic Japanese food. Staff was great and very smiley. Recommend this place for sure.
Wa Sushi is our "go to" restaurant for sushi and Asian cuisine. The food is excellent; the wait staff are friendly and have come to recognize us by face and name. We were a table of six this visit and had our orders in good time. We enjoyed a wonderful meal and did not feel rushed to leave. Friendly place. Great value. Excellent food.
Outstanding cuisine best sushi with artistic presentation. Servers were polite and very accommodating. Only negative is the liquor store two doors down. Best in ORLANDO by far. They also do private dinners with chef a nice touch.
Everything is perfect
I can’t believe chefs are not Japanese.
Was so surprised to find such a fresh and delicious sushi spot in the middle of Casselberry!
The food was amazing and the service was spectacular. We will definitely be back!
We love WA Sushi, and they really gave us a great experience with a party of 6 last weekend. Food and service are always top-notch. I can't say enough good things about this place - definitely worth the drive!
Food and service was excellent. Great specials and Japanese beer selection. Ramen was delicious.
Have been here several times. This is by far, the best sushi in Orlando. Very authentic. Great ramen and udon too. Highly recommend for an authentic Asian food experience!
Wa has become our go-to for sushi since we discovered it a little over a year ago. The food is fantastic. There are always new and seasonal items that I have to try. I've eaten sushi all over the country and I have yet to experience anything like Wa. Sushi is an art that the chefs at Wa have perfected and they never cease to amaze me in their execution in both flavor and presentation. In my opinion, it's hands down the best Japanese food experience in Orlando.
Good sushi. Surprised by good happy hour special.
Great service and Excellent food. I will be returning with my family and friends.
Everything was just okay. Eight sushi rolls and nothing that would draw me back on my next visit to Winter Park. Several members of our party from gave similar feedback. I was expecting more based on the reviews.
Wa has quickly become my "go to" sushi restaurant. The best part of their menu are the specials. They always have something new, seasonal, and different. This last visit, they had firefly squid, which were amazing. The food is fresh, expertly prepared, and is as good as any sushi I have had in central Florida. The service is attentive without being pushy. We have visited numerous times and will continue to do so as often as we can.
My wife and I have eaten here twice and both times the fish was fresh and the servers helpful and patient. We usually go to Nagoya, but ventured off our usual grounds to give Wa Sushi a try. We haven't regretted it and Wa Sushi has become our go to for sushi and Imported Japanese beer. Forget the sake and order the beer. While small they do take pride in the food they prepare and are worth every penny you'll spend here.
Wa-Sushi looks at first glance like an everyday diner with standard tables and chairs and bright lighting that provides little ambiance. If you're looking for a quiet little sushi bar with dim lighting and soft music this is not it!
However, when the food is this fresh and tasty and the sushi menu is so creative and delightful one can overlook the utilitarian nature of the dining space. My wife and I had a tempura appetizer to start. The shrimp and veges were fried to a light brown with a crispy but airy coating. The accompanying sauce was light and flavorful but not salty to my taste.
The Rainbow Roll was a simple but tasty start with generous portions of Fresh Tuna, Salmon, and Hamachi wrapped with Fresh avocado. Very Good! Very Fresh!
The Naruto Roll made with Tuna, Salmon, Escolar, avocado and snow crab legs wrapped with cucumber was a huge hit. Served with ponzu sauce it was extremely tasty and light. I could have eaten a second.
But the best roll of the night was the presentation of the "King of the Sea" roll. Made with Tempura lobster, mayo, avocado, masago, asparagus and a special miso sauce the presentation alone says delicious. Lobster tempura placed back in its shell with 6 pieces of sushi surrounding the king.
Service is very efficient and friendly. The Waitress that served us was very pleasant and informative on the menu and the portion sizes. The pacing of the dinner was very good although they had a full house and take out orders all evening while we were there.
I would definitely return and I will tell my friends.
Wa Sushi is amazing. My daughter wanted sushi after school and I wanted a place to enjoy food, study, and have a libation with said food. The cold appetizer was not only delicious, but it was beautiful. This is a great sign the chef cares about the experience he is sending out the door. We split the chef’s nigiri, which was amazing. Great choices of fish, well made, and the octopus was not super chewy. I also had the miso ramen and my husband had the shoyu tonkotsu ramen. DELICIOUS (and the red rice ale was a perfect compliment to the ramen).
This place is the “hole in the wall” you want to go to if you wanna have a great experience, good food, and leave full and happy.
Wa has quickly become my go-to favorite for sushi in Orlando. Unlike many of the more pricey, high end sushi restaurants, Wa is unassuming while never skimping on quality. The service is attentive without being pushy. The menu is diverse with traditional sushi offerings as well as kitchen items. I especially love the specials menu. After following them on Facebook, I now look forward to pictures of fresh seafood from around the world almost always in the form of whole fish or shellfish. This shows me that they are source whole, quality products, which is the foundation of great sushi. Don't let the strip mall location fool you. These folks know what they are doing and never disappoint.
A quiet elegant sushi restaurant that serves both traditional and Americanized fair.
