A very unwelcome/rude "welcome" from the staff member who greeted us. Such a shame. Why is it that covid seems to have eradicated a pleasant greeting when dining out? It is not impossible to speak respectfully. The ambience was shot to pieces after that.

It was very easy to get to, roomy and lovely view inside and out. It was my son Patrick Gilligan’s 24th birthday and he chose this restaurant. We were very impressed with his selection.

Great value for money- there were morton bay bugs and oysters available for the same price, all the dishes were unique and tasty and the service was outstanding. Very generous portions! Thank you Three blue ducks for the great food. Highly recommend.

Was a regular prior to covid19 and the food was perfect! just visited again post covid19 and food was awful, so salty! I was there with another who likes food with a bit more salt but they could not eat the food either...I like little salt but the food was way toooo salty...we wont be regulars anymore..AWFUL FOOD for $180...that we didnt eat!!

Absolutely delicious food, generous servings, mopped up every single drop of every sensational sauce. A wonderful dining experience.

Went for the VDay meal with matched wines, they brought the food out so fast we only got our first wine, they didn’t offer the second wine and put dinner in front of us with the third wine. I complained cause I wanted to finish the wine that came with the first meal before we started the third meal but there was no choice, it was all so rushed. Told them to disregard the matched wines as it was pointless. Then they still tried to charge us for the wines. Food was delicious and amazing but the service ruined it for us. Left feeling disappointed and rushed.

Fresh, fun food and atmosphere. The flavours in our meals were absolutely amazing! I'd highly recommend and cannot wait to try it again.

We have dined here several times over the years. This time felt different.
The service was not as good as the other times we have been here.

The food was great, loved the view and was seated on the side near waiter station. So was like a lil private spot and was quieter. Had a lovely staff waiter, unfortunately forgot his name, apologies for that. He recommended great dishes. Will definitely recommend to our friends.

The service and view were fantastic! The food was good, however, the roast potatoes were not fresh (they were chewy like they had sat out for a couple of hours), and I expected absolutely delicious fresh food.

I understand having a set menu (where you choose 2/3 courses for ease), however this should not be to the detriment of the freshness or quality of food.

We had dinner and the food and service was great. The guys received a tip as we enjoyed it muchly. We were a little disappointed with the breakfast the next day as the guys we a little slow on service but it looked like they were a little under staff but still very polite

Bit of a mixed review here. Was really keen to try 3 Blue Ducks, so the hype may not have help. Overall though, was 'ok.
The food is tasty - not outstanding, but consistently decent. The problem we had was there was just far too much of it. We had the three course option, but we're big eaters and still left a fair bit of food on the plate. We overheard diners on the table next to ours warning their friends about the size of the serves, so clearly not just us.
The bigger let-down was the service. Once seated, it took a fair while to be served. We ordered our three courses...and after a bit of a wait our entrees arrived. We pointed out at that point that the bread starter hadn't arrived yet (no apology, just a rushed waiter scrambling off to find the bread).
With entrees (and bread) out of the way, one of our sides arrived...but then shortly after was taken away :-/ A while later, our mains and one side (not the one that had been brought and removed) arrived...then our second side was brought back.
The rest of the meal went off without a hitch, until the bill was brought and paid - the waiter had a mild panic that he had charged us for the 2 course option instead of the 3 course. We gently pointed out that the bill was correct, and he was misreading it.
The other minor concern was the heat. We were seated inside, away from the open windows, on what was a fair warm evening. If the 3 Blue Ducks team are relying on the breeze to cool the restaurant, it doesn't work.
Like I said, all-in-all a mixed review.

Great food, great service, great view. Three Blue Ducks was a amazing dinner out and I can not speak highly enough for the team there. I also have to mention the generous portions, top class food but with home style portions. Great place and I will visit again.

From the moment we walked in the door the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming.
Our waiter was outstanding, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was presented nicely and great value for money and the entire experience was wonderful.
Will definitely go back for a special occasion or date night. Loved the experience, thank you to all the staff for making our night so great.

Attentive and friendly waiter. Food was bountiful and tasty. The traffic makes it a little noisy, but it was an extremely pleasant evening overall. Would definitely return.

Unfortunately it was a really disappointing experience. I’ve been here previously and the food & service was exceptional, this latest visit was the opposite. The service was really poor other than the hostess who seated us, she was friendly and engaging. The food was well below average other than the octopus entree. Our bread was stale, quail entree overcook and both mains lacked any flavour or seasoning. The chocolate marquise was ok but the parfait was not. It was rock solid. I had really high hopes from previous experiences but it was such a disappointment, particularly at $90 per person.

Fabulous food and drinks and very generous portions. Loved the set menu options. Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable and the extras were very much appreciated. Wil ll definately be going back ❤

Excellent service, gorgeous location. We struggled a little with such a limited main selection, and some dishes having spices that weren't explained all that well in the menu and I would have preferred my roast chicken dish to be cooked a little more.
