This was my first time at Vyoone's, and now it's my new fave! The food was incredible and the staff were so friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better. The restaurant is beautiful. The food and drinks were delicious. I'll be back and will tell everyone I know to visit Vyoone's!
Service was wonderful! Food was amazing! We’ll definitely be back.
The soft shell crab was fantastic. The sauce on top was incredible. Great service.
Amazing decor and the food was amazing! Definitely will be back!
The most amazing brunch!
Love this place! The owner was so nice and accommodating. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and very nice.
They were also great with social distancing guidelines.
The food was awesome and although not a drinker, the rest of my party loved their drinks too. We definitely enjoyed.
The atmosphere was very nice and the lit up entrance is perfect for pictures!
I can’t wait to go back with friends and enjoy the outside seating.
10/10 Highly recommend!
Always treated well
The food, service, atmosphere, everything was awesome! Introduced a friend to Vyoone's and she is telling everyone she knows about it!! Can't wait to go back!
But the service, Katherine et al were very entertaining.
Food was wonderful. Escargot!!
Tuna stack !
Will be back in October when bouillabaisse is on the menu again.
Vyonnes was amazing! The service was awesome. Super attention. I will be back!
Amazing food and atmosphere, cannot wait to go back again!
Excellent food (chicken confit especially), great service and a truly stunning entry way and patio. Would go again tomorrow gladly.
The Crab Cake Benedict was out of this world. The husband said it was “the best brunch he’s ever had.”
A very special gem in warehouse district. Charming, quaint atmosphere. The food was exceptional. Tasty, rich flavors. Had the softshell crab with crawfish corn. All the best flavors of summer from sea to the garden. Staff was present, attentive friendly. Especially the owner. Who was scurrying about attending to all. One of the most special meals I’ve had in the city.
The courtyard was beautiful and so unexpected in the CBD. We went for brunch to celebrate me moving to new opportunities and they brought out a delicious carafe of pineapple mimosas. I had a fantastic seafood Benedict • fried fish over a toasted biscuit, poached eggs with a crawfish hollandaise sauce. It was outstanding!
Due to COVID/social distancing, reservations in NOLA are limited these days. Tonight we dined at Yvonne/Vyonne (412 Girod St.) by default as all of our top pick restaurants were fully booked. Besides the fact that the food was VERY mediocre relative to the price, we were charged a 25% tax on our meal, $44. When we inquired about this, our waiter, Kevin, told us that the city had increased the taxes, without informing the businesses, to make up for all the money the city lost because of COVID. At first he told us it was an alcohol tax, however, when we reminded him that we had ZERO alcohol, he looked shocked and then said “We’ll the tax on alcohol is even higher.” As we didn’t have any alcohol to drink, this entire conversation felt very suspect. So we paid the bill, but decided to confirm this tax when we returned to our hotel. The gentleman at the front desk confirmed with the Food Service Manager that the tax is 9.75% and has NOT changed recently. Totally disappointing experience after a beautiful day in NOLA!. We will report to BBB.
I have been following them on Instagram. We decided to go there for our first date night out since the pandemic shutdown. Great service, every course was delicious.,we sat outside. It was a lovely experience. We will be back.
Took a flyer and came down to the Warehouse area around the corner from Lucy's Surfer Bar to try something different. I'll begin and end with the fact that it was one of the nicest group of people running an operation like this that I have encountered having never met each other.
The walkway into the courtyard was invitingly simple and piqued my curiosity about the place. We sat inside but the courtyard showed well. As we sat we were greeted immediately and asked for drink orders. The drinks were well made. We brought a bottle of wine and they graciously served us.
The menu required some questions. The fare was Caribbean leaning but the dishes were recognizable as being New Orleans inspired. We had the soft shell crab, braised lamb shank, a filet as well as escargot and French Onion soup. The cheese plate was served at the beginning with soup and was served with pickled radish (?) and little toasts. All were expertly done.
I am eager to come back to this versatile restaurant knowing that the enthusiastic proprietors and staff will make the visit memorable and pleasurable as it did the first time.
I like the architecture and decor of Vyoone’s. The owner and wait staff are always hospitable and attentive. On this day I had Napoleon Creole Tomato layered with spinach set in a balsamic glaze. I added seared tuna to the plate. That glaze was the best part of the dish. I ate every bit. It’s a very nice place to visit with friends over a meal.
Birthday , very nice people and restaurant
Awesome experience! I can’t wait to return. From the cleanliness to the ambiance, Vyonne’s is the prefect for a girls night out or a date night! I 1000% recommend!
The best food and service experience in New Orleans!
our only complaint was that the staff was unable to figure out how to give us the 100 credit when we made the res - we since worked it out with Open Table and got the credit back - but it was confusing to get the credit in the first place and mildly disappointing that it didn't work.
That said, we will be back often to the restaurant.
Vyoone's is great! If they have scallops on the menu, get them!
Amazing!!!!!! Great service
Delicious French Creole cuisine in a lovely courtyard. Go for the friendly service. You will feel at home!
My wife and I really enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Vyoones. It was our first time there, but we will definitely go back. The owner and staff were terrific and made us feel special. 5 Stars!!!!!
From start to finish everything was perfect. The food and drinks were amazing. I will definitely be back!
A delightful experience with amazing food, attentive service, and beautiful atmosphere. Wonderful to have Vyonne’s open again.
W.o.w. Is all I can say. Amazing staff, great food options and my out of town guests are still talking about it!!!
I love this place! Unbelievably chic ambience with spectacular food. Martinis were a bit skimpy but all other portions generous. I will go back!!
Came across Vyoone's while walking down Girod Street. The hallway from the street to the patio and dining room was illuminated by strings of hanging lights creating an inviting passage to the restaurant. I met Vyoone who is incredibly charming. After returning to the hotel, we canceled our initial reservation and headed to Vyoone's. The ambiance, service and cuisine were wonderful. Cuisine is as stated, contemporary French, and very interesting. Look forward to dining there when we next return to New Orleans.
We felt very safe going to Vyoone’s. Masks are required to enter and they provide you with individual packets of hand sanitizer. All staff wear masks and tables are a comfortable distance apart.
The food, as always, was amazing. Our dining companion, who loves French onion soup, said it’s one of the best he’s ever had. His steak was done to perfection. Both the soft shell crabs and the lamb shanks were delicious!
We really enjoyed our first visit to Vyoone's! The ambience is remarkable, with a delightful courtyard much larger than what we expected. All employees were very friendly, and my picky-eating children ate every morsel of food put in front of them -- and even some of ours! Can't wait to visit again!
This was our second visit to Vyoone’s. Great atmosphere extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. We had the tuna tartare and creole tomato salad. Both were light and amazing, perfect for a summer brunch. Will definitely be back!
Beautiful space! The food and drinks were delicious and Vyonne was lovely. I'll definitely be back OFTEN!
Delicious modern French Creole cuisine in a green, casual setting. Great service. Go for the outdoor courtyard and happy hour!
We all loved taking pictures in the hallway with lights leading into the restaurant! They have a beautiful courtyard. Food was amazing! Service a little slow, but I think they had something going on. And they were so for friendly :) All made for a fantastic birthday dinner!
Limited, overpriced menu. Noise level excessive due to spartan interior (need rugs or something to absorb noise). Took way too long to get drinks and food. Servers were polite and well trained; the problem with getting timely served seemed to be with the kitchen. Food was tasty but not inspired. As to the price and food quality, not competitive with other nearby Warehouse District restaurants.
