   Excellent service by Brooke. The Lamb Ravioli was excellent. My wife enjoyed the octopus appetizer. The Rigatoni and the Voltaggio O’s were a bit too salty. The cheesecake and gelato desserts were outstanding.

   Decent restaurant right in the Village, key location, with a lot of hype given the Top Chef pedigree. We were able to snag 8:30 reservations the day prior, to be seated on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Upon arrival, we were seated promptly, though the restaurant looked to be only about 3/4 full with several open tables inside and out. We waited literally 15 minutes before anyone came to our table to acknowledge us, give us menus, or fill water. Expected better given the pedigree...and not terribly busy vibe. The server finally arrived, told us this was "family style" where food might not come out at the same time. Ok... maybe fine. But seems a bit lazy to compensate for poor service. Sure enough... all 4 of our attendee's dishes came out at different pace, with my son's not arriving until the other 3 of us had finished. The server was apologetic, blamed the kitchen, and took 50% off the dish. But it seems to me a restaurant claiming to be Top Chef worthy would be able to get the basic service principles right, without having to concoct a pre-emtive story about "family style sharing" and "food coming out at different times." The food was ok, the wood fired pizza was the standout by far. Very authentic. The "Chef Boyardee" play on words had a good flavor and likely homemade pasta, which was good. The lamb ravioli was mediocre and the "pork pretending to be chicken parm" was interesting, probably made better by the pepperoni boulongese on top. Overall, a bit pricey for the ok food and not great service. I definitely would have expected better given how they seem to be trying to create an "exclusive" vibe within the Village. We likely won't return, prefer other restaurants a few short steps away.

   The food is spectacular, but service has taken a nose dive since this restaurant opened in Feb 2023. It has the potential to be the neighborhood gem. Our server took forever to take our order and for some reason took it all in piecemeal. I finally had to flag her down to place our entree order. Then she told us (after placing the order) they ran out of the pork chop. Our party of 4 was delivered each entree 10 minutes apart from the other. The last entree still hadn’t arrived when when the manager approached to tell us they had run out of meatballs (a key component of the Voltaggi-O’s. He was profusely apologetic and comped us drinks and the last entree. Keeping my fingers crossed they can turn this around quickly. Would be a shame not to have this newbie succeed in a town that definitely needs to up their game for foodies.

   So happy we came here. BEST food in all of Mammoth. The brothers should take over The Village and redo all the restaurants. Our waitress Kendall was amazing. She gave great recommendations and worked according to our dietary restrictions. Very kind and sweet. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will eat here every meal next time visiting Mammoth.     So disappointing. The one positive was that the redone bar has a great vibe. But the meal… Salad came out before appetizer immediately after we received our cocktail order, then the rest of our food showed up minutes later despite being told to order all at once and they would pace the meal. The wine bottle was set on our table unopened until after 15 minutes we flagged someone down to open it. And the food wasn’t great. Only the rigatoni was slightly interesting. The salumi pizza was a just thin layer of bland tomato sauce with giant slabs of pancetta. We won’t be back but will miss Campo every time we walk by.

    Being a fan of the brothers - I was disappointed -- I had the caesar salad and white pizza - while both were tasty, I felt they were over salty -- The waiter, Sam, was excellent though - very helpful, friendly and professional.

    The decor was modern and sleek. I did not know until we got there, that their outdoor seating is in these adorable little pods that look like the ski gondolas! I would have opted for that if I had known. The staff gets an A+. Our server was Brooke and she was friendly and knowledgeable and the other staff were very attentive - filling up drinks and taking dirty dishes away! Everything is served family style. Definitely fun to get to taste every dish but if you and your companion have very different tastes, and as the dishes do not come out all at once, it might not work for everyone. Drinks - I had The Clover Club. It was very pretty but didn't have much taste at all and I don't think contained much alcohol - which really is the point of having a cocktail so that was a disappointment. I had the Sean Minor Cabernet Sauvignon with dinner which was excellent! Caprese Bruschetta- I loved the creamy burrata that had a salty finish. The pesto and balsamic added nice acid. The tomatoes could have been more flavorful but it is early in the season for tomatoes. Lamb Ravioli - the ravioli was very creamy and tasty and the sauce was pleasant with the mint adding a nice pop of flavor. The lamb was good but a little tough - not falling off the bone tender which I associate with lamb shank. Chicken & Dumplings - the gnudi was very good - soft and pillowy. The chicken was very moist and the skin was very crispy and flavorful. The rucola added some sharpness to the dish. The sauce was really bland and tasteless, could have used a lot more seasoning even just more salt! For dessert we had Tiramisu, which our server was very good about telling us is not traditional tiramisu - and it wasn't - it really didn't have the tiramisu flavor at all! But oh, it was good. The chocolate ganache and the sauce were very tasty. Brulee Cheesecake was also delicious. The strawberries on top and the sauce were very tasty and the cheesecake was creamy and the balsamic added some bite and acid.

    Pretty good! Clam pizza was excellent. We tried three pastas and they were all good but way too heavy. There’s no need to put a pound of butter in everything. Not traditional Italian cooking unfortunately. The spicy tuna dish was a miss. Just bland. Excellent Caesar salad though. The star of the show was dessert. Cheesecake and gelato with zeppole were fantastic! Get a pizza and some gelato if you visit.

    It was good, but nothing significantly remarkable. We started with the arugula salad which was decent. Then we had the rigatoni, which was definitely the night's best dish. We then waited for at least 30 more minutes to get our pizzas which was annoying. The funghi pizza was very good. The pepperoni pizza was fine. It had too much cheese. Again, good but not amazing. Would go back when in Mammoth to satisfy an italian craving. Everyone working there was very nice though!

    New place in Mammoth Village is awesome! This is right on - Great venue, authentic Italian food, casual dining and variety of specialty drinks. We celebrated my mother's 88th birthday and Mother Day. Appetizers: Octopus, brussel sprouts, and pizza, Main: pasta and branzino both delicious. I highly recommend this place.

    On an 8 day road trip in our van, we stopped in 7 states with a culinary event at each. Vulcania won by a huge margin. We had the Brussels, octopus, lamb ravioli, and a salumi pizza. Was the best Octopus I have had, and pizza was divine. The lamb ravioli was so rich and decadent we talked about it the whole meal. So darn good... thanks to Kendall for the excellent service.

    Loved our visit. One thing I would like to mention is that the pizza sauce was extremely salty, as was our first order of the spaghetti with clams. My husband ordered another spaghetti, he was still hungry :), and that one was much less salty. Otherwise, it was an outstanding visit!! Loved it!

    Finally some good food in Mammoth Village. Visited 2 consecutive nights. -The pepperoni pizza is fantastic. -The bread for the prosciutto could be less dense and fluffier. -The Cesar salad has a very strong flavor with the black garlic. Took a few bites to get used to it but then I liked it. -The pasta menu is limited so I didn’t try -the desert so the the gelato and hot Italian donuts rocks As for the cocktails I tried gin smash and old fashioned which were fine. But I liked the whiskey sour the best.

    The decor is very cool, and the bar in the middle of the dining room is beautiful. Our food was very delicious and the wait staff was friendly. We started off with the caprese bruschetta,which was delicious . The hanger steak with grits was amazing!
