Loved it all expect for our server. Her attitude was unfriendly and she seemed like she didn’t want to be there. We had to wait a long time for drinks and it took a long time for plates to be cleared. The food however was excellent and we will be back again! Delicious! Great job Voltaggio Brothers!

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Dakota took care of our table and was so attentive. Lopeda the hostess was so nice and accommodating. She has a great way of welcoming when you arrive.

Depending on what your looking for could be hit or miss. We went one night with a finicky eater and we left. The menu is limited and a bit foofy. For lack of a better word lol Went back another night with a more adventurous crowd and we all loved it! The food was amazing! Definitely will go back!

We sat in a pod which was really great for our party! The food was good as was the service. We really enjoyed the octopus and the smoked mozzarella appetizers but were not impressed with the mortadella mousse, the presentation was nice but the dish completely lacked flavor. Portions are small, and in our party of 4, everyone had 1 taste of each appetizer. We ordered pizza and Caesar salad for dinner. All was pretty tasty. The bar is very modern and cool. The drinks were good . It’s a great location and was fun for dinner while visiting Mammoth.

First off, they serve family style, which is great. This is important to understand as good comes out randomly for all to share. Everything is wonderful, but we liked the grilled octopus, spicy tuna, Voltaggi-oos, Rigatoni and cheese ravioli. All fantastic. Brûlée cheesecake to share at end was great! Kendall,our server, kept everything timed perfectly.

We had a good time at Vulcania. We stuck with appetizers and a nice bottle of Barbera so I cannot comment on the rest of the menu. The service was excellent.

The food was excellent, the interior design and openness is beautiful, our servers recommendation of the lamb pasta and strawberry brûlée cheesecake was spot on. My only complaint was the while our server was very friendly and nice as the restaurant became busier our individual table service became less and less. We sat empty with water and cocktails for most of our main course meal. We even had to wave him down for our bill. Even with that said overall the place is great and and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Back for another Meal at Vulcania. Love the decor and menu. Enjoyed a salad and the best pizza in Mammoth. Sat at the bar which is stunning. The ice cream dessert with warm balls is exceptional. Front Desk Reception needs to welcome customers. Current welcome greeting is nonexistent. Looking forward to a return meal

Food and server were great. Asked for a standard table and the said we would have to wait 30 minutes. They had 4 empty standard tables and never sat anyone in them the entire time we were there. Salads came before appetizers. Still love the food.

The service was excellent, the ambience was wonderful, drinks from the bar were superb. The appetizer was average, the salad was way too intensely flavored, and the entree was overly salted. Although we didn’t try one, the pizzas did look delicious. Overall, a very nice place to go to for drinks, but I would seek high quality food elsewhere in town.

We had a great experience. We were seated right away. Our waiter, Sam, was outstanding. He walked us through the specials for the day and then shared a "strategy" to make our dining experience more enriched. He suggested we share dishes due to the way the kitchen prepares the meals. This was a great idea. Te four of us shared the Wedge salad - excellent, then the whipped mortadella, the margarita pizza, and then the cheese ravoli's. We all got the share the same foods, and that added to our discussions over dinner. He had a great idea on the Chianti we suggested. And when asked, he shared the story on the name of the restaurant. To top it off, we went with the dessert he suggested (cheesecake brulee) and that was the perfect ending to our evening. If you asked us what we would change about our evening we would say, NOTHING AT ALL. Overall delightfully surprised about finding such a high quality restaurant in this slice of heaven. Great job team!

Overpriced, over-hyped. When you order a wedge salad, and the menu says blue cheese, you would naturally expect blue cheese - a good quality, flavorful cheese. Ours turned up with no obvious blue cheese, but when we asked, we were told that they freeze blue cheese in liquid nitrogen, then turn it into some kind of snow, which goes over the wedge, I guess. Come on — this is pretentious crap. If it tasted OK, we could forget it, but it did not. I give this place 6 months, unless they put a proper chef in — it looked to us like the award winning chefs swanned in, wrote up menus, the swanned out again, leaving it to Mexican cooks to deliver. Someone tell me I am wrong.

Ok I normally never leave a review Good or Bad, but this evening dinner was so lousy I had to share our experience. We made a reservation two weeks ago for a table for 4 . When we arrived on time it took 3 hosts and 10 minutes to get us a table. The staff appears to be untrained. Next, our waiter was pleasant but rarely showed up to provide any service. Next, the food was lousy and expensive. I ordered the shrimp pasta. The shrimp had not been stored properly and was not edible and the pasta was way under done. The three other meals were also sub-par. Cocktails were above average. Pizza was a 5 out of 10. We will never go back even if the food was free. The restaurant is owned by the Mammoth Mountain and operated by Levy Restaurants who just don't care about food quality or service.

Dined with two of my best friends of forty years. We dined family style ordered the caprese, caesar salad for starters. There was plenty of food for the three of us and both dishes were unique and excellent. We each ordered an entree to share, Spaghetti with prawns, Cheese Ravioli and Pork Chop Dressed Up As Chicken. We thoroughly enjoyed each dish that was creatively made, beautiful presentation and cooked to perfection. Our server was very attentive and made great recommendation's. We especially enjoyed The Arborist bottle of red blend from Vina Robles winery. I will look forward to my next dining experience at Mammoth's newest fabulous addition.

Our entrees were served about ten minutes apart. The food was lacking in many ways. The gnudi was doughy and like a little brick. My husbands lamb ravioli was mediocre. Very disappointed! We had been really looking forward to it. But live and learn.

Second night . We love most of the menu. Casual or foodie, the food is smart. Properly acidic, fresh, lots of umami and there is memorable depth of pleasure. Of just eat and have fun. The drinks and dessert are great and creative.

I just wanna say and share that our experience at this restaurant was amazing. The service was wonderful. The food was fantastic and the ambience was very a beach a very comfortable place to enjoy a great meal. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in Mammoth.

The brothers are killing it. Lots of fun. Food was grandma meets top chef. Loveeee the lamb. Drinks are beautiful and a red wine with the lamb or pizza will change your life. Great to xperience. We cancelled reservations to eat here again tonite,
