   Food was much better than I expected. Drinks were solid. A little expensive for the drinks, but it is downtown Chicago. I’d definitely go back.

   Did not like the required security wand for all guests- not a great look for a business meal, nor the stains on the booth seating. They wanted to seat us at a cocktail couch with a low table for dinner. They don’t have physical menus- just an QR code and a short uninspired list of choices. Overall this is a night club and NOT a place to eat. Would not go back

   I had reservations for my birthday weekend but someone had booked a private party so my reservation was canceled without notice so my birthday weekend was bad I had to just go home cause I had nothing else to do but the front door men was somewhat accommodating but I never got my money back for the booking

   Would give 0 stars if I could!!!!! I had a reservation here for 14th March at 8pm arrived at the restaurant to be told my reservation has been cancelled as there was a private party. At no point was I informed until I turned up - awful customer service! I have tried to call and message and to no avail! I have also paid a £20 deposit which has basically been stolen from me!!!!!

   Food is excellent but we were not prepared to be sitting on low stools and have more family food. Would have preferred to be notified that for tables of 8-10 they typically move you to lounge seating. The food and service was excellent but it was awkward sitting with coworkers on couches while you tried to eat a $50 plate of food.

   Ambiance was amazing and the drinks were good. However, I did not enjoy where they sat us at. After asking to be moved to a different location we were denied with no explanation. They were also out of the shrimp pasta. This wouldn’t be my first choice if I were to come back.

   Vu is in need of a facelift. It’s only been in business for a few years and the seating in the bar area needs repair/replacing. Also not many food choices for such a high end area. The pat down before entering is quite off putting as well. I believe because it is mostly visited by a certain demographic the security practices are quite strenuous in comparison to other parts of the city where a different demographic frequent. If upscale is where Vu tends to stay (as it seems with pricing) then please offer more for the price and cater to a more upscale audience. This place used to be amazing! Can’t believe how it’s changed in such a short amount of time.

    Fantastic service and food. Waiters and staff were excellent the whole night.
