    We love the machaca salad the most. The table were quite small for 4 people but overall we enjoyed the food and ambience. We sat outside and the weather was perfect!

    I wanted to love this place, really. We walked in and were ignored. Approx 40 min early and we wanted to have a drink at the bar. We sat down and staff intentionally avoided eye contact. A couple sat down a few minutes after us and were immediately greeted with a smile, a glass of water and menus. Finally someone came to us and offered to take our order - I speak enough Spanish to order drinks so if the staff members didn’t speak English and ignored me because I’m not Mexican, that wasn’t cool. When it was time for our reservation, the hostess seated us (after j had to wait because she was ignoring customers and texting) and someone came over to ensure our table didn’t wobble. That was nice. Table and chairs were bare bones - not chic modern minimal; but bordering cheap looking. No decor in this place WHATSOEVER. Again, it wasn’t minimal chick. It was IKEA basics in a converted garage. Wait staff took our order and didn’t check on us once. Never asked how the food was, never offered more drinks or wine, never offered desert. What?! I would have spent a lot more money in there but they didn’t even allow for it. The food was really good. Not incredible. Broad bean snack was surprisingly good. Tuna tostada good. Black fish and roasted broccoli were Incredible. Those fishes were outstanding. Skirt steak was ok at best (too thick of a cut, not tender, lacked flavor). This place has the potential to be a ten. Spruce up the interior a bit and invest in more comfortable furniture and work on training your staff on basic hospitality; this could turn into a lot more profit for the owner.

    Los platillos sonaban bien, la tostada de atún muy rica, sin embargo los demás platillos con mucha sal, el uchepo, el pescado y los frijoles demasiado salados terminé con mucha sed como si me hubiera comido una hamburguesa. Sabores ricos pero no se pudieron disfrutar

    The first time I went I loved the food. The tuna tostada was one of the best I had. I went back dreaming of the same food and it was disappointing. The butter lettuce salad was still incredible but the tuna tostada was not great, the fish was a bit funky, had an odor that was on the verge of being old and not super fresh. The second fish dish I had as main with the seaweed etc was so dry and overcooked. Maybe I’ll go back for the salad but devastated my tuna tostada dreams were crushed.

    Todo espectacular. De verdad que es de los lugares más ricos en donde hemos comido. El taco Mc Allen es algo irreal. Que delicia! Las alitas, todo. Lo recomiendo 100%.
