   Food was great, beer even better! Easy to get in since downtown is pretty light. Food was fast and our service was nice.

   We went for a birthday celebration so it was particularly disappointing that over half of their online menu didn’t exist anymore. And they were out of fries, but still had “fresh” house made chips. Which were completely unsalted. We ordered a kids burger, and the bun was so hard it was inedible, the burger patty was frozen. For $10 kids entree item I would expect better. We then had two pulled pork sandwiches and a Cuban. The pulled pork had a nice bark on it, but what we had was a little lean for the amount of acid in the bbq sauce. We also had a Pilsner and a cider, not sure which one as I asked for a dry one and she just walked away and brought one back 20 minutes later without telling me. Pilsner was fine, cider was flat which is disappointing as I would drink wine if I didn’t want any carbonation. We had a pretzel for appetizer and we asked for addition cheese sauce, which our server forgot about but as manager came by and asked if we needed anything and we told her and sure enough not 5 minutes later the cheese sauce shows up, too bad the pretzel was stone cold and hard by that point… disappointing, won’t go back

   Service and beer were great. Menu is extremely limited and the food we ordered was very average.

   I would have given 5-stars for the service but just don’t like that they have you order via a digital ordering system. They have servers who do check on you as ours did. I guess I’m just old fashioned in that I would rather deal with a human being taking my order rather than a digital website.

   Von Ebert has become a regular destination for our get-togethers. It is always a nice place, the beer is good, the food is good, and even though they say it is largely self service, servers and the manager stopped by our table several times to be sure we were being taken care of.

   Everything is ordered via QR menu and they were out of several standard menu items. Despite it being relatively empty, the waiter treated our table as if we were an inconvenience. I was with my parents, in-laws, and kids - all of us were scratching our heads at the unnecessary attitude he brought.

   Unfortunately when we arrived we were informed that they had a couple workers call out so we were unable to order any of their signature pizzas and a couple sandwiches. The food and beer we ordered was great, although the table server we had gave off an unpleasant vibe.

    Great experience here! There were some large parties which delayed our drinks but besides that it was perfect. Everyone was extremely friendly! Beer and food were very good. Loved that it’s a huge soccer bar!
