Service is EXCELLENT but food is just okay!
Outstanding service and food we will certainly go again .
Our server, Jordan, was EXCELLENT. We were visiting the Harbor for a long weekend for our 3 month anniversary. She made sure we were well taken care of. The food highlight may have been the cauliflower. WOW!
I celebrated my 26th birthday and the whole meal was delicious! My steak wasn’t too burnt nor too alive (medium well), best calamari I ever had, heavenly rolls, free moscato, delicious complimentary fried strawberry popsicle, and savory fries! My friends food were also cooked to perfection. We made a pact to make sure we become successful so we can come more often.
Excellent food and service. Very inclusive wine list, and a sommelier to assist with selections. Several choices for starters and appetizers, and an extensive selection of entrees. We thoroughly enjoyed our entire visit at Voltaggio Brothers Steakhouse.
It was a great experience and we are looking forward to visit again. Everything was great: meals, drinks and waiters went above and beyond!
Absolutely love the ambience of this restaurant! The service staff took COVID precautions seriously and the table spacing is great allowing for an intimate dinner. I do wish that my Parker House rolls had more sea salt, but that is probably just my preference. We enjoyed our appetizers and entrees. Steak was perfection! Tried the cauliflower steak and you should too. It is delicious. I am always surprised by the new and innovative ways that they come up with preparing and presenting their food! My husband and I come here often. Hoping that they are able to continue operations throughout the pandemic. This is probably the only restaurant that my family visits and feels that we truly have a great experience. Great local sourcing and freshness of food! Love the local farm to table feel of this restaurant.
We had a great time and really enjoyed every bite. My favorite were the calamari, the Parker House rolls and the cheesecake. Thank you for a great evening.
My husband and I celebrated our 10th year Wedding Anniversary! The staff was amazing our waiter made it a magical experience. The food and scenery was beautiful; we were able to enjoy a nice meal outdoors. The waiter was very familiar with the menu and gave great recommendations. The price for the food is well worth it; everything felt made to order. We did the calamari; shrimp cocktail, NY Strip with spinach; mac&Cheese along with the steak fries. Each entree was amazing followed by the Cheese Cake! I would recommend this restaurant again!!
Service was excellent and the ambience is amazing. They do a great job with social distancing in the layout of the restaurant. The food omg, the steak and the salmon outstanding. And smoked sour cream .... i can't live without it anymore. A must visit if you're in the area.
Fantastic food and waiter was very attentive.
Our steaks were cold. And when we requested new ones they put the old ones back in an oven and when it came out it was STILL cold. Service was lack luster. I had to look for our waiter for drinks, water, and of course to get our food. I wouldn’t waste your money here as the value doesn’t add up to the overall experience
Excellent service! Kalen and Earl are attentive servers. Dwayne is the best bartender ever!!
My friend and I went for a nice dinner on a Friday night. We were so pleased with our service we also came back Saturday.
Kalen, our waiter, created such a fun, pleasant, and memorable experience. He offered great suggestions and provided incredible, attentive service. Our food, which was cooked exactly as we asked, was phenomenal. My friend has some food allergies and they accommodated nicely.
If we ever find ourselves in National Harbor again, we will definitely make it a point to return once, if not twice!
This was an impromptu date night to try something new. We came for restaurant week. The food was good and the ambiance was beautiful.
Was a fan of the Voltaggio Brothers on Top Chef. So visiting this restaurant was a must try. And it did not disappoint. The restaurant itself was absolutely stunning. The presentation of the plates were beautiful, but even more importantly, it matched up with the menu options and the deliciousness of the food.
From the start ... what a terrific time and experience. Devon our hostess was able to easily adjust our reservation by 15 minutes. Upon arrival, we had a perfect table in the "blue room"; great choice for date night. The room also perfectly accommodated socially distanced tables. We had two primary wait staff employees catering to our quiet birthday celebration needs. They absolutely focused on every course required. We enjoyed our meal starting with the calamari (great flavor regrettably small portion). Our drinks were pricey but the alcohol and flavor was definitely present. Our steaks were a touch under cooked but we overlooked because the taste and sauces quickly made up for the slight. Overall we would come back and recommend to others.
Great food and service
Service was attentive, excellent and professional! Although the menu was limited and the atmosphere tempered due to CoVid.. we enjoyed ourselves! The staff was safe practicing by spacing out tables adorning masks and keeping the restaurant spotless while allowing minimal contact (scan bar menu viewing) this is a special occasion restaurant since the prices are reflective of being located inside MGM. The food was spot on from the Parker Rolls to the Calamari, Pepe e Calcio Pasta, Chicken Two Ways Pork Shoulder and 9 Oz Filet. The only flaw was the garnish on top of the filet which is a crispy wafer that was so salty, I couldn’t eat it (I like salt) it was just too salty and a strange garnish. The wine list is also limited but with enough offerings to appease any palate. We enjoyed a Barberesco with our meal! Overall it was a pleasurable experience! I hope more guests can return soon because the staff will great them with “contactless” open arms!
Great date night option. Very chill, relaxed, intimate. Great food/wine selection. Great ambiance.
Birthday. Everything was excellent.
Ran out of burgers on a Friday evening. Unfortunately one of the attendees in the party can't eat seafood and felt very limited.
On this day it was my wife birthday, she loved everything about this restaurant. Happy wife happy life. We will definitely be back and would recommend this location to friends and family.
We went for dinner. Service was great! The staff was very attentive. My filet was cooked well but didn't have much flavor. My friend ordered the NY strip. She was disappointed with it. She said it had no flavor. We ordered a salad and biscuits and ham for appetizers. The biscuit and ham was very good. For sides we ordered potato au gratin and broccoli. The potato au gratin was very runny and had no taste. We were both disappointed. So overall, the experience was good - not excellent like we had hoped. I would recommend that people try it if they are in the area and want steak. I will not be going back given there are other steak houses closer to us that we feel are better.
The steak was a little overcooked and the side dishes weren’t very hot. I’ve been there in the past and the food wasn’t as good as previous times. Service was very good.
We had a lovely time Friday night. Service was exceptional and the food was excellent.
The experience here was nothing short of amazing!! Matthew our server was outstanding product knowledge was perfect, regretfully something my wife wanted was 86 and he suggested an alternate selection that was equally impressive. Bone in Rib eye was cooked to perfect and presentation was perfect.
Although the meal was outstanding the service we received from Matthew was excellent and memorable!!
Will definitely return!!!
Great service from start to finish- made our evening special.
Five of us went on a Sunday night. The restaurant was not crowded. We were extremely disappointed. I had watched the brothers on Top Chef and was expecting a great evening and meal. I should have read the reviews prior to going. The Service was extremely slow. The food came out lukewarm, both the main dishes and the sides. Nothing was hot. I ordered raw oysters as an appetizer - there were shell pieces in every oyster. Shucking oysters is an art. A high end restaurant should have it mastered or not offer raw oysters. With all the great restaurants in DC, if you are willing to spend the money, take your business elsewhere. You will get a better meal.
A superb dining experience! The prime ribeye and 45-day aged NY strip steals were outstanding.
Service was extremely slow. Our food was lukewarm once it arrived at our table. I got raw oysters and there were shell pieces. Very disappointing.
It was a wonderful experience but I
ordered a virgin drink
and got an alcoholic drink instead. That was bad. The food took a while to come also.
Muy caro y el porterhouse sin sabor y con nervios
Atmosphere was great and the service was good. The wait for our food was not long and our server explained the possible time for certain food to cook which made things understandable. My fiancé’ loves the restaurant and I myself feel the same. We always make reservations and are seated in a timely fashion.
I visited the Steak House to celebrate a friends 50th Birthday. Our party size was 10. The quality of the service was a little below average from a Steak House that is suppose to be 5 star and the price that go with it. We had to send a few dishes back because the sides were cold. We also felt that the lamb needed to be more seasoned yet the sauce was GREAT, so we just asked to additional sauce to provide flavor to the meet. With the high pricing and the fact that everything was ala cart which meant the bill was high if you wanted a starch and vegetable to accompany your meat choice, the service and taste of food should have been 5 star+. Also is there a reason why bread is not offered at the table? You have to pay for bread as well. So once we placed the order it took over an hour to get food. Although, the atmosphere was great the service and food taste was just average. I am sorry but OutBack serve tastier lamb than this place. I will not be returning.
Fantastic steaks with excellent accompaniments. They miss with some of the details. For example, my steak was cooked to the right temperature but came out warm, not hot. The sauces we ordered did not come out with the steaks. By the time they came out, we had finished half of our steaks. Service otherwise was very good. Our server was kind and attentive without being intrusive except for when the entrées were brought out. Notably, two separate times someone else’s food was brought to our table.
The wedge salad is one of the best I’ve ever had and the side dishes, while small, are exceptional.
This is one of the best restaurants in the DC area. The food is excellent, the wine list is exceptional and the service is always spot on. Ryan, the sommelier, does an amazing job. I called him in advance of our dinner, and he recommended the perfect champagne and a beautiful Cabernet. Highly impressed. Mathew, our waiter, took his time, gave great recommendations and added a few extras to make things special. This was a perfect evening.
Took too long for the price paid.
We went for Valentine’s Day, and this was one of the best dining experiences we have had in awhile. Every member of the staff was exceptional. The drinks were amazing and the food was delicious. We loved the seating/table as well as the soundtrack for the evening. Every aspect of the experience was outstanding: 5 stars!
