Volta is a neighbourhood restaurant and bar located at the heart of Burton Road in West Didsbury. We serve a menu of small plates inspired by international travels. You can eat & drink on our cosy terrace to the front or enjoy the chic decor and vintage bistro style ambience inside.

*PLEASE NOTE - We have now paused our Sunday roast offering for the summer. We will be serving our small plates menu only on Sundays until roasts are back in September 2025.

Our outside covered terrace offers heaters and a covered canopy, hosting the full range of drinks and food.

    We went to Volta after my son's graduation, and it was great. All the dishes we had were exceptional, the staff were helpful and kind, and it seemed like a fair price. The wine was great too.

    Our first time at Volta and a wonderful one. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and extremely helpful. We were there on a really hot summer evening, but it was pleasantly cool inside.

    The “small plates” are actually quite large! We had the set menu and it was delicious food and excellent value. The wine was good too!

    Lovely afternoon at Volta. Took our kids for Father’s Day and the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed and the food was exceptional and really friendly service too
