New Year's Eve Special Menus & Offers
Volpe Restaurant is now taking reservations for New Years Eve. Featuring a special menu for this special occasion.
We have dined here many times and seated in dining room - not this night because of a rehearsal dinner. Sat us in room with bar and two parties of 12 celebrating birthdays. We could not hear ourselves talk! Loud, screaming at times-so inconsiderate. It was far from a pleasant $400 dinner, we four were celebrating a birthday as well. Knowing you have parties of this size, do not take small reservations. So disappointed.
Used be better. I was married there 16 years ago and have been back 7 or 8 times since. My wife, daughter and I were there to celebrate our anniversary. Apps were good but entree was just average. I had shrimp scampi that had no flavor, little to no garlic and no sauce. Basically unseasoned broiled shrimp. Host was very nice... he lent me his reading glasses because I left mine in the car. Service was diner level. Pulled a chair from another table but never set a place setting. Had to ask. Waitress never checked drinks and I couldn't catch her attention (I don't yell "excuse me" in a place like this) I had to go to the bar for drinks after the first one (several guests were doing the same) I expect MUCH better food and service for what I paid. The website says this is fine dining... wasn't for us
A very interesting experience - good and not so good. The good was the apricot sour that they could make. The not so good was that there must have been a staffing problem because there was just one waitress for a dining room of about a dozen tables. Service was very slow and one meal that was order was wrong. Our friend decided to take it rather than wait for her ordered meal to be cooked. I had ordered the same dish and one of the sides on her plate was not on mine. I think the problem, besides staffing, is that the restaurant is part of a catering complex. That is the thrust of their business and I think it causes problems with the restaurant service. The food, fortunately, was delicious but because of the service issues we probably will not go back anytime soon.
it was great has the Wednesday lobster special and the lobster bisque it was all great!
Went for an early dinner. It was lobster night. Restaurant was almost empty. The butternut squash soup was very good. We ordered a house salad to share ala carte but didn't receive it. We ordered the stuffed lobster. I didn't care for the mushy ground up seafood stuffing and the lobsters had parts that weren't fully cooked. When asked how everything was I pointed this out but no one came over to address it. The waitress was not a good listener and a little argumentation when we asked her to make sure the salad wasn't on the bill stating we ordered soup instead of salad. I know what I ordered. We wanted both. She would walk away before we were even done talking. The young man pouring water and bringing food was very attentive. Maybe he should be the server.. I feel the $200 was a waste of my hard earned money. Used to come here all the time when Moises was mgr and it was much better.
It was fine
We had an excellent birthday celebration. The service was exceptional! The food was outstanding.
Everyone we encountered from the parking attendants to the bus people, were courteous, and polite and couldn't be more accommodating.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Our table was in front of large picture window.
The food was outstanding. We enjoyed everything from appetizers, to dessert and the best coffee I ever had!
The food was scrumptious and the ambiance delightful. Unfortunately, there was a very loud private party in the next room and the staff was covering both areas. All things considered, they did they the best possible job. I would love to return on a quieter night.
Celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate!! Food was delicious and service was amazing!!
While the food was great as it always is at Fox Hollow, the service was much like the type you receive at a wedding. Food was dropped. Little to no follow up, almost no conversation about the food. We had trouble getting the attention of wait staff to get assistance.
Such a disappointment! We were married at Fox Hollow 25yrs ago and went to celebrate our anniversary. The ambiance was horrible, the party in the other room was so loud you could not have a conversation, the doors should have been closed. The servers did there best, but there were only two, for the party and the restaurant. Lobster was sold out at 7pm on lobster night! There is no longer a dress code, folks there in shorts and flip flops, I can go to a diner and spend $20 as opposed to the $200 we spent for flip flops and shorts.
Great for anniversary celebrations!
Vegetables were hard and tasteless
Pork chop was dry and had sour taste.
Waitress was rude and indifferent
Food was barely warm.
Small dessert menu.
Never going back
Welcoming setting. The bar is located in the restaurant and a nice place for a pre-dinner cocktail. Creative menu and very good food. Service was good and fast.
Too much salt on the veal porcini, not usually like thay.
We were celebrating our anniversary & it was a great experience. Service was exceptional & the food choices were great, a very memorable experience
The staff are always so nice and helpful. The food is great and so happy the restaurant is open again.
Very quaint atmosphere with good food. Give it a try for date night.
We made reservations for Mother's Day at Volpe Restaurant at the Fox Hollow Catering. Volpe is a separate restaurant with very nice decor. Nothing was said on the website that our meal would not be in the restaurant. When we arrived, we were brought to the terrace room at the Fox Hollow which is basically a party/event room with a number of tables throughout as if you are at a wedding. This was not communicated at all on the website. So basically we had our lunch in a noisy wedding room less music. It definitely was a bait and switch. I chose this place INSTEAD of a catering hall near me because I did not want that but alas this is what I got. The service wasn't great either. I would have preferred to have the buffet at the place near me. At least I wouldn't be waiting for a waiter and I would have gotten a lot more food.
It was “ok”. Food order was messed up, my meal was
Cold and under cooked. Seems a little unorganized. It is what it is but was not impressed for the amount of money I paid for the meal.
did not live up to the advertised ambiance and quality of food or service. food seems to be reheated and microwaved.
The restaurant shares a wall with a wedding. The music from the wedding was unacceptable.
The maitre d was very Pleasant. The food was excellent for the three of us. The service was ok. The noise level was high, there was a table of 8 on the opposite side of the room which was very load.I do enjoy eating here, will come again.
Terrible service. Ambience was depressing. Overall not a good experience. Food was ok.
Food and service was great. Looking forward to going back soon.
Authentic Italian food served fast and efficient. Waitress was wonderful and attentive. Priced moderately for the quality and value. Ambiance was quiet even though there were more events going on at the same time and near by.
First dinner out in 13 months, thanks Covid
Was very nice. Food yummy, nice place. Ordered the Chilean Sea Bass only critique there was about 2 tbsps of Couscous had to really look for it in the dish. Why? Also, not a fan of the piped in music of The Jackson5. Again, why? Small things for them to change. Staff extremely nice, again food was delicious and the place is very warm & inviting.
We went here for our 20th anniversary because we got married at the Fox Hollow. The service was excellent and they were very friendly. The food was awesome and the place is even more beautiful than I remembered it! We went on a Tuesday so there were only a few people there but they had music on and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommended!
Throughly enjoyed our Easter dinner with friends and family. They were ready for us when we arrived for our reservation. We were seated immediately and the wait staff were prompt. Will definitely be back.
Having enjoyed many wonderful holiday meals at Volpe in the past, we decided to try it again after not having been there for several years. The food was OK, but the menu was too limited. Their holiday menus have always been smaller and the prices higher than on ordinary days. There was only one appetizer (there were three different things, but none that I would have ordered if I had had more choices) and one dessert (again, three different things--a very tiny creme brule, a very large chocolate cake. For the price, they could have at least offered coffee with dessert. We'll never go back on a holiday, and I don't know if we'll try it again on a normal day. The bill included a 20 % tip, but it wasn't clear that it had already been added, so we almost paid 40 %, but fortunately we caught it in time. Service was excellent.
Honestly, we always have an amazing time at Volpe! Food and service are always amazing
I would have appreciated if someone would have told me that the restaurant was closed and dinner would be serve in wedding hall.
My fiancé ordered filet mignon - asked for well done - it was actually dry and burned.
I ordered the Sea Bass - it had pieces of ice on the red sauce and the fish was still frozen.
Waiter was very accommodating - took it back and offered me to order something else, which I did had the lamb. by the time the lamb came out my risotto was cold.
The bill with tip was $360 for 2 people - Don't mine paying but for that amount of money I expected good food.
Never had an issue with the restaurant - have been a loyal customer for year. Service and food was always good.
COVID-19 protocols were great.
Attentive waitress; she was doing a great job training someone new.
Our table had wheels on it. Made dining a little difficult. Room was too bright. Not the usual dining room. They put us in one of the main catering halls. Makeshift setup for COVID. I would go again but not until they reopen the main restaurant.
First indoor dining experience for my wife and I in months and it was a wonderful experience!
Unfortunately we were not seated in the restaurant part but the ballroom which was set up for dining. It was kind of cool I guess they didn’t turn on the heat earlier enough itwasn’t really enjoyable. The service was great and the food was delicious. Probably not returning any time soon. It’s an upscale restaurant, we have eaten here many times in the past but were certainly disappointed.
Awesome, waitress great, baked clams could have been bigger
We had an amazing experience. The service was fantastic. The only criticism I have is that my half chicken with mushroom meal was salty.
