   La comida se tardó demasiado a pesar que el restaurante tenía pocos comensales. Dos platos llegaron primero y los otros dos mucho después.

    We reserved for 11:15 AM. When we got there, there were 3 other occupied tables, with about seven staff walking around. It took 19 minutes to get mimosas, then another 2minutes to get three plantain breakfast burgers, and an oatmeal with fruit. Everything was brought out one at a time. My burger was undercooked, but because we were heading to the airport straight from there, we all had to eat as our food came out, so one at a time— except for my husband, whose breakfast was NEVER brought out. After having been there an hour, total, we canceled his order and did express our confusion and disappointment to our waitress, who btw, spent a lot of time socializing at the bar. She was unapologetic about the delays, quality of food, etc. We got the message.. she did not care. It is unfortunate, because Volea used to be such a nice breakfast place, with a brunch that was bragged out for days! Nothing special to see here folks – – walk away!

   I made this reservation for New Year's Eve to insure we had a place to go. We were on vacation in Palmas Del Mar. I was sent a message from Open Table saying my reservation was confirmed. I then received 24 hours prior to my reservation for 12/31/23 I received a request from Open Table asking me to confirm my reservation for New Year's Eve which I did. I arrived at the restaurant at my reservation time of 7:30 p.m on 12/31/23 to find that the restaurant was CLOSED!!!! I had no dinner reservation for New Year Eve. It was a terrible event since I had 6 other guest with me for this reservation. Extremely disappointed in Open Table and the restaurant for this occurancy. It is and was unacceptable

   We reserved a table on NYE through Open Table and arrived to be told that the restaurant was closed for the holiday. We ended up without a place to eat on vacation on NYE! Very disappointed in the restaurant for not updating their profile and taking and confirming my reservation. Not right

   I had a great time at Volea. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy. And it is a pet friendly restaurant, Highly recommended!

   Great spot within the Tennis facility at Palmas Del Mar, open to the public, excellent food quality. Alway enjoy a visit here!

   The staff seemed overwhelmed and got half of the orders incorrect. What was the most perplexing was that this place was on OpenTable at all. You have to be a member essentially to get there unless you have a key access card. Why would a private restaurant be on OpenTable?
