Louisville's Best Italian restaurant. Always a phenomenal meal and impeccable service!

Ate at Volare one month before and it was truly outstanding! That’s the reason we decided to return for my wife’s birthday dinner. Host / Maitre De was not polite, server was an attentive, food was Luke warm (which may go with server being slow). Every restaurant has bad times, but I didn’t expect this.

This is one of the best restaurants anywhere in the country and one of my three local favorites. I can't say enough good things about the food. I've never been disappointed. It's always exceptional. Everything I've tried has been great.

Everything was wonderful! The restaurant carefully packaged utensils and followed COVID guidelines. The food was excellent! Our server as friendly and knowledgeable. What a lovely evening. Our compliments to the Chef and all of the Volare staff!

My husband and I were there for Easter brunch. The food and service were excellent!!

Food was ok - desserts were not good. Usually they are fantastic - but the zepolis were burnt donut holes that werre more like a hush puppy. I thought they would be a pillowy soft dough. I hate to say this but Olive Garden has you beat on these.

The restaurant was filled to the maximum (which would be great, except during a pandemic), and yet the food helped me forget my nervousness in being out and about in a large crowd. I had the braised short ribs, and it packed such a punch of flavor I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Simply wonderful. It came with beets, which I typically do not like much. My mind has been changed by these beets. Also, there was a nice helping of polenta to soak up the sauce from the short ribs. It was truly a wonderful dining experience.

We went to Volare to celebrate my friend John’s birthday and everyone we spoke with at the restaurant wished him a happy birthday. He even got his choice of dessert and they brought it out on a square plate with Happy Birthday written in chocolate, complete with a lit candle and berries on the side. Very nice!! The ambience was beautiful very nice and relaxing. I will definitely go back to Volare.

This was the best service I've ever received at a restaurant. From the complementary valet to our wonderful waiter, everything was very prompt and we had a great experience. We enjoyed spending our first wedding anniversary here.

All of the Italian food is delicious. My husband ordered Fruite de Mare and loved all the seafood. Cannot go wrong with the restaurant. Ever.

We were celebrating my wife's birthday. Once we were sat it took quite a while for someone to come to our table. Once the waitress did come it was obvious that something was off with her. We advised the manager and the waitress was replaced and the rest of the evening was stellar! The food was out of this world good and the service after the hiccup was amazing. The manager/owner did it have to, but he comped most of the meal, which was not necessary at all. We will most certainly return to this amazing establishment!

Volare’s is always a welcoming establishment from the moment you enter until you say your goodbyes. The staff is excellent as is the food and atmosphere. A warm shout out to Brandy, Jonathan, and Chef Josh whom all make the experience enjoyable and memorable.

We went to Volare for our friends birthday. This restaurant is as solid as the rock of Gibraltar! All four of us remarked how excellent each of our meals were. I had the Caesar salad and the NT Strip; both were delicious. The staff and service are superb here. Nothing is missed. We were brought complimentary dessert and it put an exclamation mark on a fantastic experience.

Best Italian restaurant in Louisville...and one of the best restaurants overall - anywhere!

One of the best meals we had in louisville and one of the better italian meals weve had overall. My lemon chicken was perfectly cooked and my boyfriends pappardelle was amazing. Our server was funny yet professional balancing conversation and silent service flawlessly.

We had the best meal and server. Everything was perfect except it was very crowded and tables had people sitting back to back.

Celebrated my husbands 30th birthday and it was perfect!
