   We had a very nice experience here. My only negative comment was that our gift card was NOT able to used on alcohol (we purchased it from CostCo and NONE of the other gift cards we've purchased through the years have had this restriction at all). You should reconsider your policy on this. We spent nearly $100 on food alone so this was ridiculous that we had about $6 left and had to pay for our alcoholic beverages separately. Thanks for your consideration.

   It was my first time at Volare. They did not disappoint! The atmosphere was outstanding. We sat on the patio but it was heated and covered and provided a buffer for the dining and bar noise. A live jazz duo played in the dining area. The service was outstanding and the waiter was spot on with everything. Listen for the specials. We had the Halibut special along with the shrimp noodle dish… the noodles were handmade and the sauce was amazing. We enjoyed a nice bottle of Amarone wine which just made the evening special. I will be returning as Volare is going to be worked into my rotation going forward. They provide valet parking and keep your take home up front to be picked up on your way out. I loved it. I felt welcomed as if this was my personal neighborhood kitchen.

   Never disappoints Louisvilles ultimate culinary experience. Our server Meredith did an awesome job making our evening extra special and managing partner Jonathan is always on cue to ensure every visit is absolutely perfect.

   The waiter/ waitress was amazing. They absolutely killed it and were spot on. I had a party of two and surrounding us was a party of well over 7 and another one well over 5. They kept up with us as they kept up with the larger tables. Really appreciate it!

    Pleasant dinner but server does one of those "I remember orders without writing them down" things and screwed up one of the four entree's. Tried to make up for it with a free dessert. Oh well...

    My husband and I make sure to visit Volare at least twice every time we are in the Louisville area (we live out of state). This past trip we dined here 3x! From the phenomenal food to the lovely ambiance & live music to the exceptional staff (Gary always takes such great care of us!)… this place is unmatched. We always look forward to visiting & enjoying our time at Volare! Literally everything we have tried has been delicious… thank you Chef Joshua! Our top favorites so far are the scallops, carpaccio, Caesar salad (the anchovies are *chefs kiss*), pappardelle boscaiola, capellini di sorento, bistecca con bourbon, and don’t even get me started on the heath cheesecake 🤤

    Family dinner for our moms birthday. Not our first occasion at Volare but was the first time a larger group of us was there together. Reservations were made and the table was ready. For those that arent aware, its not easy to park in that area of town, Volare does offer free valet parking.. USE IT! Server greeted us early and the man was great. Engaging, energetic, funny. He anticipated needs before we asked and was just a great server... Volare Management please thank Gary for us .. hes a great server and the main reason for our great time. Food was absolutely wonderful, salad to appetizer to main course with a dessert finish! Each member had a different item so we covered steak, fish, chicken and pasta.. each plate came looking amazing and tasted the same. Thanks Gary and Volare; you all made her birthday wonderful

    This is our first experience at Valare. We were so excited to try it because we’ve heard so many good things. I did not disappoint. In fact, we were overly impressed. Our server Garry with to RR’s was super welcoming. he was able to make recommendations based on our preferences and we enjoyed our cocktails immensely. I was pleased that the restaurant accommodated people dressed in slacks, nice tops, and pearl necklaces or three piece suits, affording flexibility enough that you could dress up a little or a lot. The ticket check for our to go boxes was a nice touch so we didn’t have any extra clutter on our small table. We will definitely be looking to go back sooner rather than later.

    Birthday GNO. The staff was wonderful as was the food and choices. Seated on the patio which concerned me but turned out to be perfect as it wasn’t as loud out there. We could still here the music but could have a fun conversation as well. Definitely on the list to return to.

    We were a party of three and all got specials. My wife & sister got the Sea Bass and I got the boneless ribeye. Food and service were both excellent. A little pricey, but well worth it.

    Wow! If you're looking for a restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, Volare is that place. It's an upscale experience with a diverse selection of Italian cuisine and some of the best staff in town! Also, anytime a restaurant offers duck I have to try it. With that, I was blown away by Volare's "Roasted Duck." Cleaned the plate! Volare is a must-try if you're in Louisville, KY.

    Our server Claudia was fantastic it was a blessing that she can speak spanish as we had guests from Puerto Rico so it helped that she could communicate with them! It was actually the first time that we had eaten there and the food was delicious!!

    We come here often and it never disappoints. The service is outstanding and the staff creates a vibe that is relaxed and welcoming. There’s a nice list of cocktails, and the wine list is extensive with a range of prices. All the appetizers are amazing, and different enough to appeal to every taste. Our favorites are the Cappesante, and if we have at least 4 in our party, we split the bruschetta. The salads are excellent and the Caesar salad does have anchovy as it should. The pastas and risotto are out of this world. Our favorite is the gemelli bolognese and those of us who like a simpler dish love the ravioli vodka. But they are all delicious. Its worth pacing yourself for dessert. The heath cheesecake is a hit with our group and there’s plenty to share. The crème brulee is also a favorite.

    Overall, it was a nice experience. We were disappointed with the initial service, it took a while for us to get water. Our main server was great, the person who brought our appetizer didn't bring appetizer plates, so we used our bread plates. We still had the humungously large menus in our hands and ate our appetizers clumsily at our very small table for two. We had calamari which was beautifully cooked, but bland. It needed some seasoning. Our server explained the menu and specials very well and they sounded delicious. For the main dish, I had pork and gigande beans, I didn't care for the brandied apples, but that's just me. So, overall it was nice, we just got off to a clumsy start.

    The whole experience was fantastic. John greeted and seated my wife and I at the bar. Nina was awesome and accommodating with our drink selection and our meal. The entertainment was very good with selections from Sam Cook to Stevie Wonder. Alex, a close friend of our family took his free time to stop and say hi and even buy our dessert! I ‘m a Louisville native and have never visited Volare. What a shame on my part. I will be back often and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys perfection.
