I love it here. Food is wonderful staff is amazing!
I've been coming to Vivoli for years, will never return. On last visit food was overcooked, tasteless and very tough lamb chops. Service was slow and indifferent, even though only 3 tables were occupied.
A very disappointing dinner in what used to be a favorite restaurant.
First time with both sons on over a year.
Enjoyed the food and being together outside.
Delicious, homemade, fresh taste that will have us returning anytime we are in the Hollywood area. I had the chicken Marsala with penne on the side-tender, flavorful. My husband had a ravioli dish with spinach that was divine also.
Vivoli is my go to spot for everything! The staff is amazing, the food is fantastic and they made it through covid and should be supported by the community.
I have been dining here for years and I have never had anything but a wonderful meal and lovely experience.
Bad service, waiters had to be called multiple times, didn’t check up on my party. Waiters didn’t seem well groomed or clean.
Always good. They’ve made a really nice outdoor area.
My new favorite restaurant. Food is always great as well as the service. Friendly attentive staff and great food. What more could you ask for?
Food was as good as always. Bread was warm and moist. Branzino was excellent.
The food was ok - not great, but no bad.
We went on Valentine’s Day and it was FREEZING. It was pretty windy, so that combined with the cool air made it for a really uncomfortable dining experience which is definitely nothing the restaurant can control; however, it would’ve helped if they had more heaters and if all of them worked. Think they had about 4 heaters (1 was off) and about 9 tables.
Also, they were SLAMMED. A ton of pickup/takeout orders which ultimately delayed the dine-in orders. We ordered pizza, calamari and soup. Took a good 45 mins-an hour to gat our food but seemed like 2 hours when you’re freezing outside. We ate the calamari and soup there but opted to take our pizza to-go considering the weather.
I’m sure they weren’t expecting to be that busy, but do feel they should’ve cut back on to-go orders so the dine-in experience wasn’t as bad.
The staff was working really hard and it was clear they were doing the best they can, but were just too overwhelmed.
Maybe just a bad night to try them for the first time.
I’d give them a try again if ever in the area.
Fantastic pizza and pasta ....everyone so friendly and not over priced !!
No wait, food came out fast, food was delicious and everybody was incredibly friendly. Great experience now that outdoor dining is back open!
Don’t bother. Really don’t
I came exactly on time and they refused to take care of us telling us that was closed already I drove over 15 miles to get there
Chicken Fettuccine and Clam Linguine totally delivered!
Great food and service
Our meal at Vivoli was perfect! They got everything right, and got us served & out of there within 45 minutes, so we could be on time for our tickets to see the play Frozen! I will absolutely keep going back to Vivoli!
FOUR FRIENDS HAD A GREAT DINNER AT VIVOLI. WE EACH HAD A DIFFERENT ENTREE AND ENJOYED THEM ALL. NO COMPLAINTS!
THE SERVICE WAS VERY NICE. WOULD RECOMMEND VIVOLI FOR A CASUAL EVENING.
Great food every time! I think our server was new, he was very nice but made numerous mistakes.
Very slow service and kitchen. Many items on the menu (sparkling and red wine) not in stock. Only had one type of red wine in stock in spite of eight or so options on the menu. Overall a pretty bizarre and uncomfortable experience. Place was uncomfortably hot.
Just perfect for a meal and glass of wine before Lau
Literally had to walk out after we sat at our table for almost 20 minutes without even being brought waters or checked on. Entire staff was incredibly rude and dismissive, even when we tried to flag them over. They said nothing to even apologize as we walked out. Will never return.
Great neighborhood treasure. Excellent food and service. Passed the test by the New York City relatives.
Delicious, many great choices. The server had perfect suggestions that all worked.
The food was delicious! The service was just fair, and it took awhile before we were served; I specifically asked for extra broth in my soup, and when the Cioppino came, there was actually less broth than usual! We had a hard time getting anyone's attention just to try to pay the bill. I'll go back there again, but hope the service is better next time. The previous time I was there with my parents, and the service was fantastic; I guess it's just a hit or a miss!
A wonderful experience. Their cioppino was probably one of the best, if not the best cioppino I've ever had in my life!
It was recommended by Colin at Hyatt Andaz for our 28th Anniversary dinner, it was awesome. It was lively yet intimate. Food was great and location was historic!
There's a really pleasant, happy energy to the place, mostly thanks to our very sweet server and the rest of the friendly staff who remain in full view from the open kitchen. That's half the reason why everyone I bring there falls in love with it. The other reason is the food. Chicken Ravioli With Pink Sauce And Mushrooms is still my jam, but the Clam Linguine, Penne With Salmon, and their Pizza are great choices too!
On this visit, I was presented with their new lunch menu in addition to their usual. I did spot some items that intrigued, but I couldn't resist what I had originally gone there craving: the Chicken Ravioli With Pink Sauce And Mushrooms. Delish as ever... and the service was charming as ever. Will try the new lunch menu anther time :-)
Good spot , food was good, quiet during early lunch
Another excellent dine! Their Chicken And Spinach Ravioli With Pink Sauce And Mushrooms?... ALL DAY LONG, PLEASE!!! Also, my dining partner said his Fettuccine Alfredo With Chicken was the best he'd had anywhere! Service was attentive and gracious as always.
Love this place! Love everything about it!! Not fancy digs, just cute, modest, cozy, but the food and service are first rate!!! Easily on par with some of the higher end Italian eateries I also frequent. Chicken And Spinach Ravioli With Pink Sauce And Mushrooms, OMG!!!!! Their Seafood Linguine is killer as well. I've also recently discovered their Caramel And Sea Salt Gelato. Uh-oh!
I am so comfortable eating at this restaurant. The food is amazing...the service is great, the waiters are very attentive and it has a wonderful ambience. The music is very romantic. It's it just nice to go out to eat and be able to hear your partner and have a fabulous meal.
Very nice, authentic feeling Italian restaurant, which is hard to come by these days. Chicken Picatta and Linguini and Clams were both very delicious, and while the strip mall it sits in isn't a great atmosphere, inside the restaurant is quaint, nice and authentic feeling. Perfect stop for dinner right before a comedy show across the street.
Had a wonderful birthday dinner with my friends. The service was spectacular. The food was very tasty!
The best Italian food I’ve had in LA!
Good as always.
Always a friendly relaxed atmosphere and the best Italian food in L.A.
I love this place and have gone here sporadically over the past decade. When it's busy, service is a bit rough, but the food more than makes up for it (it's really amazing food) - and the servers are really friendly. We were given a free glass of champagne due to the wait time. They're good people. I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys great Italian food.
Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff. Excellent menu and some really good wine. Will be going back
