   While the Restaurant did not have our open table reservation, we were seated right away and may have had something to do with a Groupon promo.

   The place is really nice and the service good. However, we very really disappointed with the seafood paella. Very few pieces of seafood and the rice was basically burnt. I know there are different ways of making paella, some people make it creamy, some others make it dry and toasted. This was burnt, so burnt that the rice appeared to be dark (initially i thought they had put squid ink into it). The crema catalana, however, was pretty good.

   Amazing! Everything about this place is amazing. The care, the attentiveness, the FOOD, the creative drinks. I guarantee you will have a wonderful experience here. The tapas are quite elevated and though you will know all of the dishes if you’re eating lots of tapas in BCN, there is a level of refinement that even the pickiest diner will appreciate. Extra kudos to Sonny the bartender for creating drinks for us that weren’t even on the menu. What a gem!

   Overly priced, mediocre tourist trap. Asked the concierge and Vivo Tapas recommended. It has overly priced menu, mediocre food, and caters only to tourists. Service was fair. All the customers were English speakers so guessing this is not a place at which the locals dine.

    Vivo Tapas was an excellent find on Open Table. We had a wonderful lunch, ordering from the menu of the day. I had the mango gazpacho, risotto and chocolate ice cream plus a bottle of water that was included in the price - 15 Euro. Our friends ordered the paella, which was also great. The service was a little slow when it came to our desserts and getting the bill, but lingering seems to be the European way as we encountered that in several places.
