VIVO Mediterranean Grill & Catering
The restaurant’s upscale vibe resonates with old world authenticity. Once the mansion home to glamorous Rudolph Valentino, the setting is both elegant and stylish, offering sun filled, traditional Ballrooms, a decidedly urban vibe in the Dining Room, hand crafted cocktails at the Bar and Lounge, and al fresco dining on the Patio adjacent to manicured gardens and gazebo.

Amazing food and service! The staff is friendly and very attentive.
This was an amazing experience, especially for a mother’s day celebration. Food, service and ambiance was fantastic!!
I’m guessing there are new Owners?? The vibe is completely different than prior visits and they ran out of some things so I am guessing this is the first Mother’s Day that they have put together. The place was so loud you couldn’t hear conversations within our own party. We’ve experienced better in this place.
Thank you so much for your review. We have owned VIVO! for the last 2 years. Our entire staff works very hard tp make each experience enjoyable and memorable. From the House-Made Granola Parfaits to the extensive brunch menu to Hand-Crafted Desserts ending with Truffles for the Mom's; we made sure that nothing would run out so all our guests would have a great afternoon and enjoy what we had to offer. [Kevin A. Mattner, VP]
I would not recommend the Mother’s Day brunch , first time at Vivo, heard good things about the daily dinner but from this experience not looking to return anytime soon.
Thank you so much for your feedback but I am curious about your experience. The Mother's Day Brunch menu is very different then our normal dinner menu. Chef Paul Von Wieding works hard with his Culinary Team to create menus that are enjoyed on these special occasions so feedback like this to us is very important. Hoping you will join us for dinner one night so you can experience Chef Paul's Dinner Menu. [Kevin A. Mattner, VP]
Great service. Wine is chill and well served. Food are good.
Service was outstanding. Our waiter catered to our specific needs and gave us time to chat and enjoy our leisurely brunch. Food was delish!
food & service was excellent. VERY NOISY!!!!

Wonderful Easter dinner at VIvo! Great service, delicious food and beautiful interior.
Vivo Restaurant has lovely ambiance. The menu was a bit pricey, but I knew that from the menu on the computer. We had eleven people and no complained about the food, my Dad who is 101 Years old was hoping for Chicken Marsala, but he refused to request it. The dining room was decorated beautifully. The service was excellent.
Food very well prepared and presented, wait staff tries hard to please but Avoid around holidays gets too noisy - large tables of people with lots of screaming kids for dinner 7-8:30 pm making it very hard to hear your companions and over whelming staff. They should have considered separating out the large parties of 10 or more ( especially with a lot of 3 to 11 year olds) into a different room so that smaller tables of adults could enjoy their meals leisurely.
Food was very good though nothing exceptional! Service, on the other hand, was outstanding! Cocktails were delicious. A little on the noisy side.
Delicious food, terrific service! A gem we just discovered on way back from airport. Will definitely be back again.
Great staff. Loretta, the hostess, is incredibly attentive and so pleasant. From apppitizer to dessert wonderful service. Loved the entertainment by Eddie Sessa.
Emily our waitress was superb. She was courteous, very friendly, accommodating and made
you feel welcomed as a guest. The food was excellent and the decor is elegant. The parking
was also excellent.I will definitely return in the near future.
Shrimp cocktail was way too chewy. Chicken parmigiana was very tough. Won’t be back.
I have been to this restaurant many times. I came with my sister who had never been there. She LOVED it.
The food was wonderful the service good
My only complaint would be the noise level. It was really difficult to have a conversation. I like the other side of the room better closer to the bar. It’s quieter
I love the comfortable dining environment. The staff is friendly and the chef always accommodates my food allergies. The food is always fresh, beautiful presentation and most of all delicious.
Delicious meal with top flight service.
A bit more upscale than I was expecting, but I didn't feel uncomfortable being dressed-down. Very comfortable environment. The noise level was moderate, allowing for pleasant conversation. The food was delicious and the potions were generous. The wait staff was cordial and attentive. We were surprised to see that we had been there close to three hours - no one rushed us out. Will go again.
My family had a great experience at Vivo. We had a party of 6 for my fathers 84th birthday. The server and all the staff were fantastic. They were so patient with my Dad. Always professional and courteous. The food was delicious! The shrimp were huge! I had fantastic bouillabaisse, the duck (special) was perfect, and Swordfish very tasty. For dessert we shared tiaramasu and it even got compliments from my Italian parents! Beautiful, clean, and a wonderful dining experience. We can hardly wait to go back!
Caught up with my beautiful friend on National Margarita Day! Cheers! It was a wonderful dinner in a wonderful place.
Loved this restaurant when it was Vivaldi's. Was a bit leery of going to the new restaurant. It did not disappoint. My husband had the burrata appetizer - it was amazing. The presentation was beautiful. The combination of burrata with the caramelized onions, mesclun salad, balsamic reduction and smoked prosciutto was incredible. My branzino was delicious and perfectly cooked. We will definitely be going back!! Soon!!!
Had a lovely Valentine's Day dinner at Vivo that was superb from start to finish. Enjoyed the creamy lobster bisque filled with chunks of lobster...the steak for 2 was perfect...and the huge chocolate covered strawberries were just the right touch to end this romantic dinner. Our fellow diners quietly conversed while the live band played songs that brought back many memories - the champagne was a sweet touch. Last, but not least, "Thank you, Loretta!" We don't usually dine out on this holiday, having been disappointed so many times before, but Vivo was a refreshing change.
Valentine's Day proved to be too much for the kitchen and staff to handle. Appetizers came out late after we told our waiter they never came. To their credit, a manger brought the appetizers and comped our drinks. Our main course of filet mignon came out overcooked. My guess is that it was ready to serve us and when the apps were late, the entrees were kept warm.
Love everything about this restaurant!!! Highly recommend.
Very presently surprised. Have been there before (a few years ago). Food and service has improved.
Everything we had was on point. New local favorite.
Have eaten dinner here several times, and brunch once. Located in an old mansion that once belonged to silent film star, Rudolph Valentino; the service is impeccable, food is of high quality, and their cocktails are on-point.
Needed a place near cemetery. Was so pleasantly surprised and pleased
I went there for an early new years eve dinner, 5:30 sitting, had a price fixe menu, 3 combinations, food was so so, almost like a wedding. rushed out by 7pm, and expensive, $65 per, without drinks
What a diamond I found today a old style mansion owned by the silent movies Romeo himself Rudolph Valentino
Transformed into a Mediterranean restaurant!
I saw a snipet from Lydia the chef tv show what a treasure
The food was outstanding good quality very very well priced!
It was lovely, can’t wait to take some friends .
Food not as good as it was for our wedding anniversary in November and Thanksgiving was GREAT! The food on thanksgiving was wonderful! I guess maybe because it was crowded for Christmas Eve, my filet mignon was DRY unfortunately and the service was not as good either.
This was our 2nd year @ VIVO for Christmas Eve. The food was superb but our waiter provided, at best, lackadaisical service. We finished our appetizer and were served our entree before our drink order was served. For the majority of the night our waiter was AWOL--thank God for the food runners or else we might not have received our food. It took us 2 trips to the maitre d'/manager for our drinks to finally arrive (which the manager nicely comped). All in all, the food for both years we have been there is excellent, our waiter the first year provided superb service, our waiter this year provided lackadaisical service. I would recommend VIVO with a caveat for holidays.
This is usually my favorite restaurant, electric guitar holiday music was agitating and completely inappropriate for this dinner setting. Service was barely existent, which is not the norm for the venue which usually has outstanding service. The food was good but I always order the same thing and noticed the usual attention to detail was not there.
I am noticing a shift in my overall experience whenever half the restaurant is closed for an event. The restaurant side for dinner suffers. Very disappointed, especially since this is the second time in a row this has happened and it's my favorite place and it's usually consistent. Hopefully it is only temporary, if not it will not be top on my list.
Great food and great staff.
We go monthly and each month it's a little different. Last month our brunch entrees were served with sweet potato and white potato chunks. This month only white. Bring back the sweet potatoes and make your menu different. Last month we were able to get risotto cakes made for us, this month not available. The wait staff knows us and for the most part accommodates but little things were missing yesterday. Coffee came hot and then we waited while our coffee got cold for milk and cream. Donuts came with knife and fork but plates took a while. We still love the food and relaxed atmosphere and have already made plans to return!
Very disappointing !!!!
The hostess was less than friendly or welcoming. Since there was a party in half the restaurant they squeezed everyone else on one side. She tried to give us a small table in the middle of other tables. I declined and said it was my birthday so I was hoping for a nicer dining experience. We took it finally because she said we would have a while to wait. It was so noisy in the room my husband and I could not ever hear each other. When a table on the side became available I asked to be changed. She said she had people waiting for the “corner” table so we couldn’t have that one. This was not true because the corner table remained empty for another hour. She reluctantly moved us to a different table on the side wall. Our appetizers and salad course were practically thrown at us at the same time. They were short staffed so even the hostess was clearing tables. After our entrees, we were asked if we wanted dessert. No offer of coffee or any anything for my birthday. I also indicated it was my birthday on the open table reservation. A very disappointing dinner for a special occasion!
This is the only neighborhood restaurant I frequent. I love the staff, and the chef always accommodates my food allergies.
Great food and wonderful service.
