Welcome to the Grand Opening of VIVO! Mediterranean Grill, a new chic restaurant featuring a seasonal, locally inspired menu that offers a delicious selection of wild caught fish, prime aged meats, free-range chicken and daily made pastas. Our Culinary Team believes in using only the highest quality ingredients that will never compromise the integrity of the dish.

The restaurant’s hip, upscale vibe resonates with old world authenticity. Saw this place from the highway. Shot in the dark. It was good. I think we had a newer server. He forgot to tell us the specials. The other guy who filled the water for us kept forgetting to come to do that. The short rib was exceptional. I'd deff go back just for that. A little pricey, but you are paying for the ambience and the potions were actually bigger than I thought they'd be

Went for Valentines Day dinner, our reservation was for 8:30 and we were seated at 8:45 which was not bad considering it was very crowded . The bar was under staffed one person only ! I felt sorry for the girl and it’s ashame because that’s where all places
make money , but the live music and the delicious food made up for the wait ! The staff was very friendly and the hostess was fantastic! Fabulous place I would highly recommend!

Food was good. Service was slow. Had to wait for our meal for a while.
Table next to us asked for salt several times before they got it. Most likely give it another try.

Food was good ... steak was ordered medium and over cooked ... service was mediocre at best , after the food came out our waiter never came back to check to see if everything was ok. Might try brunch, not sure if we would return for dinner l.

As I indicated food and service were very good. While pricey, I felt we received good value for it.
While decor, ambiance, food and service reflected an upscale dining place, the loud music cheapened the atmosphere. It was impossible to hold a conversation at my table, causing me to complain to our waiter.
For evening dining/brunch, instrumental music at low volume is what i require for a return visit.
However, later in the evening or on special nights you're more than welcome to your loud music combo.

Brunch to celebrate a birthday. We had the 1st reservation, so quiet when we arrived, livelier when we left, but not too noisy. It was easy to have a conversation. Waitstaff were very attentive and hostess was very friendly and welcoming.

I've enjoyed most brunch entrees at this restaurant except for the avocado, polenta and eggs. Pretty tasteless. Polenta was runny and needed seasoning. Mushrooms and avocado were in a soupy mess. Eggs were good. Muffins were stale. I'll return but wouldn't order that dish. It would be nice to have some simpler menu options too.
Service as always was terrific.

The food was tasteless. Halibut was like eating paper. Foid undercooked. No flavor on any of the dishes i ordered and food was served tepid.

Sat near the fireplace off the bar - warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our waiter George was very knowledgeable about the menu and we really enjoyed our food and wine pairings. Definitely coming back soon!

We went for Christmas Eve dinner. The value was incredible. The portions were huge (we brought food home), the food was excellent as was the service & the ambiance was wonderful. We were not rushed & enjoyed a relaxed, excellent Christmas Eve meal.

Waiter was great. However the lobster bisque was not even edible. Too salty. The "wild" salmon was farmed. I even inquired a second time as to the salmon. Very disappointed. Sesfood salad and clams casino were great. Fried calamari was barely warm. Pasta dishes were pretty good but nothing special.

The chef has come up with a creative menu that is cut above any restaurant in northeast Queens. Daily specials are outstanding. The food has been constiently spectacular. It is our go to place for fine dining. The staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend VIVO.

We've been here a few times. The good was good, but we've had better in the past. We were there with friends on a Thursday night and the live music trio and our seats by the fireplace made the night. Service was very good as well. We'll be back!

The staff is very friendly. The food is excellent, this was our third time there and everything we ordered was delicious. Everyone was very happy with their food. Truffle fries are amazing! And the desserts! Yum! Definitely recommend this place.

It was our wedding anniversary and we wanted to try someplace new. The food was delicious, particularly the arugula and pear salad, short ribs in Chianti reduction and the veal francese (the portion was enormous). We split the cannoli for dessert. There were four small, very fresh cannoli and fruit which were perfectly creamy and not overly sweet. I highly recommend this place!
