Terrific experience on Saturday night at Vivo. They have a wonderful, spacious outdoor area with nicely spaced tables. When it got chilly, the staff rolled out multiple space heaters, which were great. Food was excellent! My friend raved about his eggplant parmigiana, which was served in a cast iron pan. The salmon & rigatoni bolognese were also solid choices. The lovely hostess checked on us a few times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. This has become our go-to place when meeting out westchester friends (we're in nassau county). Huge parking lot, so no stress finding street parking. Highly recommend!

Service and ambience were great. We dined outdoors however the bugs did as well. On us! They offered us a insect repellant spray when told. This did not help. We then asked to be moved to a different table which offered a little relief. The food was just ok and over priced. When we spoke to the manager about the insect issue he said he was sorry and that was that. Not a good experience. Went home and had to put Benadryl creme on !

The food was delicious. We ordered the steak special with mash and asparagus as well as the shrimp scampi. Also had the Mediterranean salad and calamari as appetizers. All yummy. Our waiter Natalia was so sweet and helpful. It's a perfect place for a date night. The outdoor space was so nice and clean.

Finally able to return to Vivo for a lovely sunset dinner on their patio. Had one of the specials - roasted chicken - very tasty as well as their branzino, which was excellent. We had a wonderful time there together.

We made reservations for 6:15 and we were accommodated and seated immediately which was great. It is during COVID-19 so not many people were there and all cdc protocols were being followed in the restaurant. The food was great in flavor and price, overall a great experience and good amount of available parking. Only small issue is the amount of ants around the table but we were outside so I guess it’s expected considering they are located next to a golf course. Thank you VIVO.

The website has short ribs with polenta. The restaurant doesn’t. The short ribs were tough and looked like pot roast. Not terrible but disappointing. Restaurant is very nice and tge service excellent.

Three words: It. Was. Incredible.

Our waiter Brian was awesome!

To start, we received an amazing bread basket with herb infused baguettes and grilled pita served with seasoned olive oil and olive tapenade. Delicious!

Then, we ordered mussels in a white wine garlic sauce, lightly battered artichoke hearts with arugula and roasted red peppers (blurry picture, my bad), and lobster bisque. My mom actually told the waiter “these were the best mussels I’ve ever had.” The appetizers were so good that everyone was a member of the clean plate club.

To wrap it up, we had linguine with clams and scallops in a wine cream sauce, wild mushroom pappardelle in a truffle cream sauce, and the pasta special which was homemade pappardelle with shrimp and lump crab meat in a scampi wine sauce. All of the portions were massive and the quality of the seafood was out of this world. Would highly recommend the wild mushroom dish if you are a fan of truffle!

We unfortunately were too full for dessert..a shame, I know..but that goes to show how tasty the food was! We couldn't fit in any more!

We decided to give this restaurant one last try since past experiences were not so great.

Service still sucks.
Menu on open table is not the menu in the restaurant, when we asked the waiter he seemed lost, mumbling something like yea we changed the menu on open table ( not true)
We called ahead to advise we will be bringing a cake since we are celebrating a birthday and was told that will be fine. When we told the waiter we have a cake can you bring it out he again seemed lost. Sent over the host to advise there was a $15 cake cutting fee if we still wanted the cake! How embarrassing!!! Like at that moment in front of the birthday girl we would say no! Why didn’t they mention this when we called?
I asked the waiter if there could be an adjustment done for my meal he said he will find out from the kitchen and let me know. He brought out the meals (no adjustment made) and never one mentioned if he spoke with the kitchen or not.
The food used to be great but that’s no longer true.
We will not be returning.

The service was excellent; the atmosphere was great, but the food was mediocre. The bruschetta had too much vinegar, the chicken parm was ok, and the pork was flavorless; however, the rice/risotto was pretty good, and the lobster bisque was delicious.

We were most impressed with how organized and prepared Vivo was on a busy Thanksgiving Day. Virtually every table was filled and the service was impeccable. The food was good and they offered a lovely menu with many fine choices.

Everything was great first time in the place ,excellent service I was disappointed a little bit about my food
I ordered the shrimp scampi did not taste like shrimp no flavor at all . And so little pasta , the whole thing was dipped in a lot of oil. My girlfriends branzini was very good. My bread pudding was average had a lot of fruit in there made it super sweet but anyway she was happy and that’s all the matters lol

ordered the appetizer Mussels in white wine. They were dried out and felt like rubber when chewing them. Never ever had mussels as bad as these were.
Looked and felt like they were warmed in the microwave.
The staff was nice and took them back without billing.

Haven't eaten here in over a year. This used to be my favorite go to place. Thought I would try it again for Sunday Brunch. Server Asia remembered us from a few years back. Her service was spot on. Wife ordered Eggs Benedict. The eggs came well done. How hard is it to poach an egg. She was disappointed and asked for eggs over easy which is also a no brainer. Chef decided to salvage the Eggs Benedict by making new eggs. Wife refused and decided not to eat. Disappointing since eggs are about .17 each and the chef didn't even follow the servers instructions. Other than that the place has good value but they need to get a chef pronto. Previous reasons for not going back were a shortage of servers so the pressed bus boys to serve and the experience was sub par.

This restaurant site has been owned/managed by several owners over the past 15 years. I have been there for lunch, brunch, and dinner. This latest visit of the evolution of ownership has not proven to be a place I would recommend but, occasionally revisit to see if anything has changed. The brunch menu is designed for mass delivery. I'd almost prefer a buffet line (not my first choice) where you can create your own meal. The omlette was uninspired with all components (egg portion was cooked but cold), coming together as a burrito with the selected ingredients randomly placed inside the rolled up egg. Cutting into said omlette caused the interior to disperse on the plate. Very unappealing. As usual, the noise level is high in the main dining area and becomes even more so with young children crying for attention or to be removed from an older experience.

Ladies brunch at what used to be our favorite brunch place. We've been meeting here pretty much monthly for a couple of years. We were patient when they changed the menu a few times. Today the three of us were not happy with our food. The bread/Danish dish was good when we got it but then the Danish got hard like rocks. I had blueberry pancakes that were blue! I immediately wondered how much food coloring was in them. Tasted OK but nothing great. One friend got an omelette and said the egg seemed like it was from a carton, potatoes with burned cheese. The other got waffles and said not great. Busboy was phenomenal but our waitress was so-so. Seemed as if she forgot about us a few times. Unfortunately, our next brunch will not be at Vivo. We've decided to explore other places. We'll keep an eye out for menu changes that will once again make this restaurant a unique brunch place.

There was a wedding going on upstairs and the DJ was right above us. Not sure why they didn't put us in the other room. We actually had to ask to move tables. Then my friend ordered pasta and told the waiter he didn't like spicy. It was very spicy. Big sports they were, they bought us a tartuffo. Too many better restaurants around, they should kick up the service a notch and make sure everyone is happy all night.

If you like a beautiful restaurant with an even more beautiful view, you will love Vivo. The service was perfect. We were there with my elderly (very opinionated) parents and the staff was very courteous, friendly and respectful. The food was delicious! We ordered the branzino, filet mignon, duck breast and assorted appetizers. Everything was prepared exactly as it should be and served with a smile. We will be back again and highly recommend!

The Lobster Night special is an excellent value. Beware if there is a wedding or affair going on the same night as service becomes slim with much of the staff at the affair leaving restaurant diners with short staff
