Vivo Italian Kitchen
Vivo is a family owned and operated full-service Italian restaurant in the lakeside town of Bridgton, Maine. We offer local drafts, craft cocktails, a boutique Italian wine list featuring one of Maine's best Amaro lists, and of course- fresh handmade pastas and entrees of a classic Italian approach. Our menu features change with the season, and our ever-changing desserts are created nightly. Paying special mind to what the local harvests can supply, we always allow Maine farms to shine through first and foremost.
the four of us had varying types of dinners seafood , steak , duck, and pasta all were great
We LOVE Vivo. The food has always been good, but with Chritian and the new ownership I think it is almost better.
Our Calamari appetizer was disappointing. It was soggy & undercooked. Our main course entree were excellent. Perfectly prepared and served. The service at the bar and our table was also excellent.
Food was delicious. Husband had the chicken parmigiana and I had oriccheti with homemade sausage. Both dishes were out of this world!
Great menu, never have had a bad meal there. Staff is very welcoming, great service.
Awesome as always! Chocolate bread pudding to die for!!!
Website vs actual menue ? Asked for merlot wine, "out of stock" ?
Disapointed since last visit.
Evening Tonya, Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your visit last week. The restaurant has changed ownership and the wine list is now entirely Italian varietals, but the servers should be able to guide our guests through. Also, the menu has been evolving considerably since November, but I can't see where it was listed incorrectly online. Could I impose on you to help me chase down the old menus? The new site is up to date, and is linked through our Open Table page. Thanks for coming in! -Christian
Always a great meal and nikki our waitress was awesome!!!
The food here has always been excellent. However, the new owners have made a tremendous improvement in the dining experience. We live in Bridgton year-round, and it always struck us how poor the customer interaction was. That is entirely different with the new owners. We were greeted in a friendly manner when entering the restaurant, which was a surprise in and of itself. Service was prompt and friendly with only a minor issue, not worth mentioning. For mains, we thoroughly enjoyed the butternut squash ravioli, and, papperdelle with Duck. All pastas are still homemade, except for spaghetti. Highly recommend this restaurant.
My husband & I went with another couple for my birthday . The service was good . Food was very good and hot as it should be . Was noisy but nothing anyone could have done . Was disappointed as for being an Italian restaurant they were out of the special pumpkin tiramisu, and the regular .
Delicious food!! So very cozy inside. We were also greeted in a welcoming way and our server was attentive.
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent dining experience. Staff was friendly and our server, Nikki was the best.
Always good but a bit pricey
