Vivo Italian Kitchen has reliably delicious Italian food in generous portions and a very cool and friendly atmosphere. Everyone is welcoming and friendly and our waiter Yosef (Joseph?) was excellent. The decor includes such an interesting variety of what I assume are modern Italian tiles, even on the walls. I've never been disappointed at Vivo!
Always great food and great service no matter who takes care of you.
The food was so good! Absolutely delicious. The service was very slow, but this was due to being short staffed. She did the best she could, given the circumstances!
Outstanding service and great food and excellent value for the money
Love this restaurant and foods are delicious. Highly recommend to friends.
Great Food, excellent service and everyone is very friendly! This is our go to dinner selection consistently. EVery dish is delicious! Highly recommend it!
it was mothers day, so we expected some delay. but then after an hour with no entree or attention a group of 10 came in and we were totally forgotten about, if we werent already. in this hour, our waitress never filled our water once, never asked how we were. we had to get another lady to simply fill water. when we told our waitress we had a concern she ignored the comment and asked if we wanted parmesan cheese. she never again came over to us, she spent all her time ignoring us or prepping for the group which had been at the bar. mind you it's an hour in, sitting down, right next to the same group table. when we said we basically got no service, this old guy "Nick" only took the approach, "it's mothers day" without listening, and said it's busy. we said no, the waitress looked at us and walked passed, she didnt listen to our comment. apparently he will "honor" something if we go in again.. but i just wanted my pregnant wife to have a nice mothers day. after like 90 min when we got the food we just boxed it and left, ate at home. steak was too rare for medium, should've known, it's an italian place!
First time dining here, were sat upstairs. Very loud, we were right outside the service area where the dumbwaiter was. Every time food came up you could here the noise it made loud and clear. Our server (I forget her name), she was really excellent. No complaints on the food or service. We will be back, just will request to be sat downstairs.
Great service by Emma. Good food served in an attractive manner. Disappointing that they actually "ran out of meatballs" and told us when the rest of the meal (spaghetti) was served. They tried to make up for it by serving sausage, but I don't eat sausage. The meal should have been taken off the bill. Also ran out of whole wheat pasta. Food came out in a disjointed manner, leaving us waiting while others already had their meals. Somewhat overpriced... $20 for chicken parmesan, for example. Nice salads. House Italian dressing not great. Good garlic knots and brushetta. Comfortable atmosphere.
Food was OK, but quality was not really worth the money. The presentation was mediocre.
Service was good but slow.
We had the best experience at Vivo Italian Kitchen today and were happy to celebrate Mother’s Day here for our very first visit. The hostess made us feel welcomed and at ease even though there was a slight snafu with our reservation. It was handled quickly and professionally. Our server, Lina, was fantastic and my parents were so thrilled with her attentiveness that they gave her hugs when we left. She was extremely gracious and wonderful in every way. Now the food! We were a party of 7 and every single thing we ordered was well-prepared, served hot, and delicious. Lasagna, shrimp scampi, chicken parm, pesto gnocchi, salmon. No one had anything but rave reviews. It was simply fantastic! And extremely clean. It actually looked like a brand new restaurant , even though it has been in the family for many years but only under this name for a few years. Yes , it seemed like a bit of an unexpected location for it but I would go back in a minute! Highly recommend. Thanks for making our holiday special.
Considering it was Mother's Day, the food and service were excellent. Very enjoyable dining experience.
Was hit or miss on entrees. One of our party had salmon that was dried out with asparagus that was extremely over cooked. The other 3 entrees and appetizers were good but nothing exceptional. The salads were iceberg with cardboard tomatoes and 2 slices of cucumber, meh. Paying $185 for lunch for 4 and previous experiences at Vivo expected much more. Will give another chance though as previous experiences were very good
Best Italian around. We have been here multiple times and it never disappoints. Everything here is amazing!
The meal was excellent as we have come to expect.
Food was excellent!!
Great food, excellent service and a warm and pleasant atmosphere made for an enjoyable evening,
First time their and LOVED it! Will definitely return.
Best dinner ever! Great waitress name Jennifer. Thanks for making the evening special.
Very delightful eating outside on their patio. Food was very good although my clams in white sauce was a bit sweet and rich.
It was nice to get out again. Food was amazing (just as we remembered!)
Food and service was great! We will definitely go back.
If you like good Italian food this is a good place to go. Views upstairs are nice also.
Had the pesto gnocchi with chicken. Delish!
Our meals were very good. The restaurant was packed and the noise was a little over whelming.
The food was excellent and the service was very good. Highly recommend Vivo
Loud and obnoxious patron next to us. Not a knock on restaurant just the annoying patron.
One of my favorite spots in Lehigh valley, great service great food
Absolutely one of the best atmospheres to dine. Great customer service and great food. Emma Rose was our server and she was phenomenal. Thanks Emma for making our dining experience pleasant.
Great place for delicious American Italian food. Especially love their calamari - tender and tasty. Portabello risotto is excellent. We dine here more than any other local restaurant - inside or takeout. They have outside tent but we haven't tried that yet. Food is always consistent and reliably good.
Very loud. Food was bland. Very disappointing.
Good service and had a wonderful dessert.
Will not return for a while.
Very good food and great service! We try to go to Vivo often.
Been to the restaurant several times in the last few weeks as well done take out and in every experience, the food has been very tasty. While in the restaurant, service has been exceptional, courteous, cautious and timely. Highly recommend the Seafood Gorgonzola,a white creamy based sauce mixed with an abundance of seafood served over risotto. Delicious!
As usual, the service was great. The meal is always delish!
This place was great. Amazing food. Will have to monitor how often we go here or else we will have to walk here and back to burn the carbs off. We came here the other day for the first time and everything was great except for the extremely noisy table of four. There were about 8 other people in the dining area but you wouldn’t of thought so due to the racket they were making. Hopefully next time we come, they won’t be there.
Was a great meal. Sadly like other restaurants they are dealing with staffing issues. Food and drinks were delicious. Thanks for a nice time Vivo.
The food was delicious. Served hot and felt comfortable. A great evening out
Can’t go wrong with Vivo!
Slow service, food was lukewarm at best, would not return :(
It took forever to get our entrees.
