From a family Food truck in the 90s. To the oldest Mexican Restaurant in Rhode Island. The hospitality and authentic flavors of Mexico are behind everything we do at Viva Mexico. We were at Viva Mexico over the holiday weekend. We arrived in Providence and just wanted to relax after a long drive. We were welcomed in, and everything was great thereafter!!! The food was great, and the atmosphere was perfect. We were offered to sit outside because we had Sanrgia, and we relaxed outside. So chill. Our server was part owner. He gave us so many suggestions of what to do while we were in town. Such a nice guy. We enjoyed his hospitality more than anything. We enjoyed Federal Hill and Newport but needed to come back to Viva's for margaritas to end our long weekend. Thank you! We will be back.

I haven’t had Mexican food this good and this authentic since I left California for the east coast 30 years ago. The staff at Viva Mexico was so nice and the atmosphere was great. We will absolutely be back next time we are in Providence. Highly recommend!

This is really good authentic Mexican food. The manager/owner was so personable and made certain we had a great experience. We had more food than we could eat, and they have a lot of drinks and beers on the menu. Definitely recommend!

The staff is great. The food is yummy and very affordable. They are always able to turn out the food timely, especially on show nights at PPAC with a group of 8 people. We love this place.

Great spot! Lively atmosphere and fun vibe for Cinco de Mayo. Food, drinks and service were exceptional, as always. Owner stopped by to check in on every table.

Decided to go to Viva Mexico to celebrate my friend’s birthday and support the Sanchez family— the service was awesome and the staff gave us complimentary fried ice cream that they set on fire! None of us had ever seen it and it was so cool!
