We really liked the festive vibe but it could be overwhelming. When we got there the hosts could have done a better job explaining that you have to wait for your whole party no matter how small to be seated with a reservation. Just asking if the whole party is present, getting no, and saying ok followed by silence and turning away wasn’t it. The food got a 7/10 due to the overcooked sushi rice. The spicy tempura was solid though. The barria tacos were great. The specialty drinks were okay but very little drink with a ton of ice didn’t make it worth the price. But we were there for the Birthday treatment. Same as majority of the tables. Their birthday shenanigans are unmatched! Loved the team and the sharks! Lol

This place has the atmosphere of a Carnival Cruise. We were excited to get a rez as their menu is beautiful. The food is top notch snd the drinks are fantastic too. The wait staff is pleasant and attentive. Here’s the crazy thing, every 10 minutes during our Saturday night dinner with friends, they turned down the lights and played birthday themed music or shark attacked someone with liquor shots and put on a little spectacle with hats and signs that dominated the restaurant. Had I known that to expect this we would not have come as it ruined our dinner. One or twice might have been fun but it happened at least 6-7 times during our meal.

It was a great experience, especially for a birthday dinner. Their birthday celebration style is VERY fun and exciting. Loved the specialty drinks, and the food is so fresh and tasty!!!

My family and I went to Viva La Vida for my birthday dinner. We had reservations and were seated immediately and on time. Our server, Diego, was very nice and efficient. We had a pleasant dining experience and we will return in the future.

Lots of hidden charges, like the $25 birthday celebration, no prob paying for a $12 dessert adding additional $13 for singing and sparkler, wish I was told. $10 rsvp deposit for large parties, kinda lame, very busy no need to do that,so many people packed in and it was just too much for me. I Will say service was awesome, food was ok, good portions, drinks were small, try it for yourselves it might be more your thing but i wont return
