    We went to celebrate a friend’s 61st birthday. Dinner was great, the food there never disappoints. Vito was making his rounds through the dining room and he’s always so nice to speak with. Our waiter, Franco, who’s been there forever, did some magic tricks for us which added to the fun. All in all a terrific evening.

    The Osso Buco was to die for. Sooo delicious! I'm looking to go back just for that. Chef/owner comes out to chat with diners. We went back a second time about a month later and chef remembered us. He treats you like an old friend. I love it. What a great place.

    Got to the restaurant at 6:30 for my reservation. Had to wait a bit as there where a lot of big parties also checking in at the same time. Got to my table about 15-20 min after arrival and placed our order. The kitchen was super backed up and we waited for about an hour for food to arrive. Our waitress (Yvonne) was absolutely amazing was on top of everything and always kept us in the loop. Food came out and it was absolutely amazing. Had the tiramisu for desert and hands down the best I’ve ever had outside of Italy.

    Can’t believe they would not accept a $50 Visa gift card, took my Visa credit card. We were in a booth with table of 12 up against us. Too loud! First time I did not have an outstanding experience.

    Vito's is an authentic Italian Restaurant that has been the family for many years. Their food is second to none, you will need a reservation as they are very busy. The wait staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the offerings on the menu, they are attentive to their customers. Anytime you want real Italian food this is the place to go to.

    Outstanding dinner at Vitos as usual! We love going there because everything we order is always delicious! Pasta, seafood, broccoli with garlic... always fresh, flavorful and generous portions.

    Waitress seemed to be disconnected. She asked us for an appetizer order. We told her what we wanted and before we could state something else she walked away from the table. She was very cold and curt. I had chicken Parmesan which was cut very thin and layered and was very tough. The Reading was also very dry. They’re tomato sauce is nothing special. Seems like it’s out of a can. Bread was stale, probably leftover from the day before. Glassware was dirty with dry lipstick on the rim. Too much filler in the meatballs. Portions have gotten smaller over the years.

    The dinning room was packed and we were seated with a serving tray on a stand backed right up to the chair (which I assumed was there for dirty dishes) where we were asked to sit. We sat down for a second and then asked if I was possible to move to the bar area which seemed to be quite empty to enjoy our date night. The server must have been slammed with other tables because she was fairly absent. The bartender was extremely loud and very excited to be working from what we could see. But the food was good and we will go back to give another shot and hope for better results.

    Big fan of the Chef, his food & atmosphere! However, after arriving on time for our open table reservation, we were disappointed in having to wait 20 minutes for a table. It seemed like we fell in line with the other walk-ins.

    This is now one of my top 2 restaurants in St. John's County. My God, it was SO GOOD last night! The mussels with marinara were just outstanding and my veal scarpariello with white sauce was divine!!!! Our waiter, Franco, was the best!!! He made it such a great dining experience!

    The restaurant was very busy. We asked for Yvonne, our favorite server. She was running everywhere. I hate to think that we spread her thinner. We love Yvonne! My mussel appetizer was delicious. My granddaughter got the mussel dinner and it was gritty, so was the pasta under it. I was disappointed about this. Otherwise, Yvonne was her usual wonderful self and the rest of the food was great!

    We love Vito's! We are relatively new to the area and had to find our favorite Italian and we have accomplished that. They have live music on a few nights a week in the bar area, they have a great ambience, great people and most importantly great food. Chef Giulio is the best!

    OMG this was one of the best restaurants I have been to. It was a gem to find this place in JAX, our first time, and we will definitely be back. Great Italian food, Vito the host .... we just love him and he makes it a point to say hello and hang out with his diners. There was a great band playing 80's classics. I wish this was closer to home, we are further south, but we will be making trips to JAX just to visit Vito's :)

    Had an appetizer on special (bang bang shrimp) which was great, salad included with meal which is nice, overall very good experience. Waitress allowed time no rushing. Will go back for sure.
