Finally a local Ft Lauderdale Italian restaurant for adults who have travelled to Italy and enjoy restraint in food preparation. Arugula and fennel salad is resplendent with tang from citrus. The daily pasta is al dente, lightly sauced and highly satisfying. Chicken Milanese is distinctly huge but again delicately seasoned and makes a great second lunch. Service is attentive and professional.

The overall experience was good but not great. We seem to have started off on the wrong foot when the hostess offered us a nice table in the “library” and the server immediately told us we had to move over to a smaller table? We didn’t want the smaller table and certainly didn’t want that server so we had the hostess take us to the main dining room. Our 2nd server in the main dining room was pleasant enough but couldn’t make small adjustment’s that we requested. We tried to order the large veal chop for two, however my wife doesn’t like red sauce so we simply asked for the red sauce on the side so I could dip and she would be accommodated . They wouldn’t do that for us? Made no sense at all . They could easily have accommodated this request. So we ordered the baked clams that were delicious and the shrimp and pasta. We wanted one extra shrimp each but were told we couldn’t get an extra shrimp without ordering 4 extra shrimp? We agreed to 4 even though we only wanted one extra for each of us, however the extra shrimp didn’t come out on our dishes, they were separated and came out alone in a side order? From the time our food was delivered from the kitchen until we were completely finished with our entree’s no one asked us if we needed anything. No fresh ground pepper ( there is no salt or pepper on any tables), and no cheese on our pasta? Half way through our entree’s we managed to flag down another waiter to get us a bit of cheese and he made a wise.crack about we shouldn’t put cheese on our pasta because we were eating shrimp (seafood). It seems to me that this restaurant, although well intentioned and reasonably friendly, has not grasped the concept of keeping their customers happy and giving the level of customer service one would expect from a high end Italian restaurant where the final bill without liquor but including the tip was over $200 It’s not likely we will go back .

I absolutely love Vitolo Restaurant! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and inviting. The staff is incredibly professional, attentive, and friendly — they make you feel right at home. The service is consistently top-notch, and you can tell they genuinely care about your dining experience. It’s one of those places where you can relax, enjoy amazing food, and know you’ll always be treated well. Highly recommended!

Fantastic service and we really enjoyed our meal. The grilled octopus, lobster ravioli, shrimp scampi, and desserts were so delicious. Compliments to chef and our server Angel! 10/10 recommend!

Good evening with friends. Service was good. Most of the food was excellent. One of our four meals was much too spicy and our friend could not eat it. The waiter asked the chef who said it was cooked correctly. No offer to remake it and no accommodation was made for it on our bill. Disappointed by that and the noise level which was very loud.

Our server was great! we shared stories while she was taking our order. The clams oreganata were super delicious! My favorite but this time they were extra delicious! The library is now my favorite spot in the restaurant. My husband enjoined his pork chop immensely.

We were visiting family and wanted to try the restaurant because we had read great things about the chef. Overall, we had a nice experience. It was a bit loud and the waiter forgot one of the side dishes.
