   Went for the Hinsdale restaurant week menu. Very nice selection. Also enjoyed the wine pairing. Need to get back here more often.

   I cannot express just how wonderful this dining experience was. From the second we walked into the door, we were treated so very well. I highly recommend Vistro Prime. The food the service, the atmosphere was beyond amazing. Thank you.

   Overhyped but Has Potential We were excited to try this Hinsdale restaurant after seeing so many positive reviews, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t quite match the hype. Cocktails came bland and without garnish—surprising for a place with such a reputation. The mussels were small, overcooked, and lacked the fresh herbs and crème fraîche listed on the menu. The mussels just sat in a flavorless, watery broth with no real taste or seasoning. The crab cakes were mushy, overwhelmed by tartar sauce, and topped with a soggy salad. The fish was overcooked, overly salty, and served dry, with no sauce to bring the dish together. The only highlight was the lamb chops, which we did enjoy. While the food completely missed the mark on both flavor and presentation, we truly hope this feedback is taken constructively rather than as criticism. We want to see this local spot thrive and live up to its potential—especially in a neighborhood we care about and enjoy. They just sat in a watery broth. The muscles just sat in a tasteless watery broth

   The fish of the day was halibut, which was perfectly prepared with greens and crispy potatoes. We paired this with sautéed mushrooms. This was an amazing dish. The Mediterranean salad and the house salad were fresh and delicious. Our surprise for the meal were the house made cheese crackers. These are. very tasty appetizer, indeed.

   The food was fresh, delicious and appealing. Recommend so many dishes - halibut, salmon, filet - the list goes on. And top it off with Baked Alaska dessert!
