We absolutely love the restaurant. We've only been for lunch and this was our first time for dinner and we were not disappointed! The food and staff were wonderful! The only suggestion would be to put lights on the cliff (if that's allowed or possible) so you can see the beautiful ocean views.

Vista has gone to the top of our list of favorite restaurants. The food is excellent and beautifully presented. The service is unfailingly charming and efficient. The overall ambiance is elegant, friendly, and relaxing. It is not a rowdy beach scene, so is that’s what you’re looking after, look elsewhere!

Too popular to over think this place--enter and enjoy. The staff has it down---very well organized seating process--the kitchen knows what they are doing. Add: Ron was our server---his experience was apparent and made our dining event very pleasant.

My husband and I had a wonderful evening at Vista. We made an early reservation and we were able to see a beautiful sunset. Our table was very private and romantic. I ordered the cioppino and it was amazing. Tons of shell fish cooked perfectly and the broth was so good I wanted to lick the bowl. Hubby ordered a steak and potato and we split the wedge salad and it was yummy as well. I was too full to taste hubbys meal but he said it was very good and cooked to his liking. We were so full we decided to skip desert but our waitress enticed us with a complimentary warm Lava cake (my birthday). It was so good we cleaned the plate. We don't eat out much these days and the evening was a real treat. I would highly recommend Vista. Can't wait to go back

Our food was excellent and our waiter. Tim was a delight. He took care of us and spaced out our food exactly the way we want it. He made suggestions and we tried them and they were delicious. We look forward to going back again in a couple of weeks.

We shared a 16oz ribeye steak medium rare and added on a lobster tail. The steak was perfectly cooked and the lobster tail was larger than I expected. It was more than enough food for the two of us. The service was great. Michael was polite and very attentive. He even laughed at our jokes. To top the evening off, they gave us a free dessert because we were celebrating our anniversary.

For starters, my wife and I both had the crab-cakes, which were delectable. We both had as our entrees the seafood salad, featuring generous portions of fresh lobster, shrimp and crab on a bed of greens, with avocado, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and sliced hard-boiled eggs, topped with a light vinaigrette dressing. Outstanding. For dessert we shared a mud pie. Server was personable and attentive. Lovely view of beach and ocean.

Ambience was excellent. The ocean view was breathtaking. The waiting staff were excellent. Lilly was our head server, and she was so polished, friendly and very informative about our dining options. A+++ overall rating. Will definately be back and bring friends.

A little disappointed. Really wanted to have a Caesar Salad before our meal... but this "Steak and Seafood" restaurant does NOT have a Caesar?! What?! The filet mignon was outstanding (but the mashed potatoes and vegetables were cold and had to be replaced) and the wife's salmon was excellent. We'll keep coming back...

The beef short ribs were good but the dish was only warm at best. As if it sat for a bit before being served. Pork chop a bit dry but I recommend the filet mignon as it was very tasty! Prices were fairly average considering the views that are available. Could of been better, could of been worse.

Amazing dinner, one of the best dinners we ever had. Celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday and had a wonderful experience. The service was so great and the food was absolutely delicious, everyone loved everything. Also the drinks from the bar were exceptional, 5 stars.

While travelling to Pismo Beach for a few days we enjoyed Vista Steak & Seafood so much we came back the next night. Excellent value for money. Top class food, great menu, very reasonable prices backed by exceptional service. Highly recommend!

Was pretty crowded/noisy when we went - not unexpected for Saturday dinner, but probably not the best place if you’re hoping for something quiet then prime time on Saturday wouldn’t be the best option for you. Otherwise the food, service, etc was excellent! Hope to return in the summer when the sun sets later so we can enjoy the view of the ocean from our table!

There were four of us. Two were from LA and used to great dining. We each had four different entrees: cioppino , sand dabs, sea bass and shrimp scallop risotto. We had the ahi wontons as an appetizer. Wait staff was excellent and warm bread was brought to the table immediately. Food was served promptly. Would go back.

Beautiful views of the ocean and delicious food. I had the Brick Chicken with mashed potatoes and veggies and it was great. Wife had the shrimp tacos, they just needed some salsa for her. We will return when we're in town again.
