   The overall atmosphere was really good. Lovely performance by the singer and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Food was definitely overpriced for what we got in my opinion. Burger was very bland and chips undercooked and hard. Started and dessert were amazing though.

   Food was wonderful and live singer was very good but a oarty of four from Ireland were poorly behaved heckling the singer and should have been asked to leave.

   The food was amazing, especially the haggis scotch egg starter, for two fairly picky eaters this was unreal and would definitely be ordering again. Mains were both really good, and desert was also great. The chocolate brownie was really good and would also highly recommend. Great service and will be back!

   I ordered a starter which was lovely. We waited a long time for our mains to arrive. We got fillet steaks which were cooked beautifully but sadly they were cold. We had waited so long that we just wanted to eat it and didn’t bother sending back. However, we did mention this to James and he couldn’t apologise enough. James and Robyn were just fab. If it wasn’t for their impeccable service we probably would’ve rated it lower. James couldn’t have been more attentive likewise with Robyn once James left. We were delivered the wrong food 2/3 times but I believe that was because the tables had just changed (human error, which is fine). The dessert we ordered warm chocolate brownie but again sadly this was cold. The only reason I marked down for the noise level/ambience was other hotel residents who were drunk and shouting but again that’s not the fault of the hotel. Overall we enjoyed the food but there was definitely room for improvement and if it wasn’t for the amazing service from James and Robyn we would’ve probably raised a formal complaint.

   Service was good with drinks and starter and main course , then the place got busy and I had to ask 2 different folk for our desserts . Waited so long my mother had to go lie down in the room . So I took the desserts back to room .

   We were staying overnight as a present for our Golden Wedding and thoroughly enjoyed our meal!! Food was delicious. Dinner was excellent and breakfast was also of a high standard!! Couldn't really fault a with the whole experience. Def recommend.

   Was disappointed to see guests at night time in the dining room wearing toweling robes. Not what you would expect when dining in a 4 star hotel. The ambience was good and the chicken dish was delicious although my husband’s steak was a bit tough. Swimming area was clean although there should by more supervision re the amount of people in the hot tub and hogging the heated loungers. Overall a Lovely stay.

   We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary with Gleddoch House, our first time staying at the hotel! Have been before for a few spa days! We had a lovely time the staff are a credit to your hotel! Food was delicious 😋

    I have to say, the food was disappointing. Prawn cocktail starter had zero flavour. No salt or pepper on the tables. And nobody asks if you would like any. Steak pie main was awful. The meat was lovely and tender but dry as dust. No gravy in the pie. All of one carrot quartered and the pastry was dry as well. Was like eating a biscuit. Not nice flaky puff pastry at all. Honestly so disappointed. Sat down, food was served quickly by pleasant staff but after that, nobody came near. I sat with a full plate for 40 minutes and eventually we got up and just walked to the desk to settle our bill as nobody came near. I felt like staff were avoiding us as it was so clear from my full plate I was not happy with the meal. My husband had the soup which was lovely, very large portion. And fish & chips - again lovely. Really good love singer but I felt was a bit loud and inappropriate for a restaurant. Would have been better in the bar area later on after the meal. All in all disappointing and overpriced.
