Vista prime steaks & seafood Ratings and Reviews
This was my third time there and can assure anyone that I will be back, the food, music, atmosphere, waiting staff are always right on target and there when you need something most of the time there before an (Awesome Restaurant). Desserts are out of this world.
A friend and I went to see Roger Hodgson (former SuperTramp singer and songwriter) at the Snoqualmie casino. For both of us, it was the first time visiting the casino for any reason. I knew we should get there early to park and so wanted to book dinner reservations if there was a nice restaurant on site. Vista had good Yelp reviews so I booked. Wow. What...a...pleasant...surprise! Parking was easy, picked up tickets from Will Call (about 50 feet away from Vista entrance) and arrived just in time for our reservation. Decor is nice. I think it's best described as corporate upscale restaurant looks - very 'plain' in the artistic sense, but nice and with a feeling of being in a fine dining establishment. I had brought an old and rare wine from my cellar. I'd been unable to see a wine list online, plus I always bring my own wine since my cellar is better than just about any wine list. The waitress seemed to immediately recognize the bottle as something worth decanting and she sent one of the wine stewards to our table. He was friendly, talkative, reasonably knowledgeable, and helpful with the menu as well. He took the time to retrieve a nice Opus One bottle from their cellar and unwrap it for me - I suppose just eager to impress. I didn't bring reading glasses so couldn't look at their wine list but my dining companion browsed it and said it was impressive, but I can't vouch for that. Their corkage was $25. The restaurant is a steak-lover's gold mine. They obtain Kobe-style beef from a regional farm and have graded beef for all the main steak dishes. Diners can choose the "house" steak (my term, not theirs) or go with Silver, Gold, or Black grades of beef marbling. I was very happy to try this and went for the Gold filet. Oh, and Vista was the first restaurant that listed Very Rare on the menu with temperature ranges and explanatory notes. Steak was cooked perfectly. We had steak tartare appetizer and it was excellent! I'd definitely return to Vista.
This is my favorite restaurant, especially for special occasions.
I always order the I chateaubriand and the scallops Rockefeller. You can’t go wrong with those dishes.
The music on this visit was a bit louder than I prefer but it was tolerable (live piano) They do have live mellow guitar at times, I really like that.
The atmosphere and service is wonderful. They pay attention to every detail and offer free desert for birthdays. We had cherries jubilee, prepared in front of our table.
It is always a wonderful experience dining here. Nothing less than spectacular!
The best steaks, truffle potato purée, and desserts! Outstanding service and attention. A few servers were out, so it made all the others work that much harder. Bustling and too noisy for my liking, but that will not keep me from dining there. I'll just go during the week rather than a Saturday night.
We came out from Spanaway and went here for date night and taking my best friends out to celebrate her hubby's 50th. So, of course, no expense was to big. Our waiter, Henry, was awesome! He was entertaining, funny, knowledgeable of the wines and steak. We were smiling when eating. The majority of us ordered the "Vista Kobe" Tomahawk worn the truffle fries - OMG. That was a great steak. The ambiance was nice, I didn't hear other diners neat by. I would definitely come here again! Thank you for and enjoyable dinner.
Excellent food - great steaks, best freshly-made Caesar salad, as well as the Cherries Jubilee we had for dessert. Our waiter and the rest of the wait staff were excellent and cheerful as well. If there is an event at the venue we will be definitely going to the restaurant.
Our second time visiting and again we were very pleased. Food, atmosphere and staff are outstanding. Henry and Juan were our wait staff and they they were fabulous. They made our evening relaxing and timeless. Beautiful from the moment we sat down to the moment we left. Thank you for such a beautiful dining experience.
Took the occasion of our 44th anniversary to have dinner at the Vista for the first time. My wife and daughter had very fine steaks. I had the special short rib dinner. When delivered the meal was barely luke warm and was sent back for replacement. When finally served my wife and daughter were finished and had to wait for me to have my dinner. Not the way I wanted to spend this special occasion. I would have expected the specials to be ready on time and hot like rest of meals.
Food was disappointing. My husband ordered surf and turf, the steak was great but the lobster was non-existent. It was tiny, maybe an inch worth of meat and a claw. Definitely not worth the $70+. I ordered lobster and linguine, my lobster was a good size, but was very chewy. Maybe stick to the steak??
This is the second time my husband and I have been to Vista Prime Steaks & Seafood and both times we enjoyed ourselves. This upscale restaurant has great views and our service was perfect. It’s located in Snoqualmie Casino. We ordered the calamari, caprese salad, steak and salmon. Everything was cooked perfectly. The calamari was tender and the batter was light and well-seasoned. The garlic aioli went perfect with the calamari. My husband ordered the caprese salad which he thoroughly enjoyed. The fresh mozzarella and tomatoes were well-seasoned and delicious. For dinner he ordered a medium rare New York steak (black BMS 6-8). The steak was cooked perfectly, it was flavorful and very tender. I ordered the salmon and asked our server to make sure it was cooked all the way through. The salmon was cooked just as I asked and it was tender. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Perfect for date night and then some fun gambling after dinner!
This my wives75th birthday dinner--we drove 120 miles to have dinner based on our dinner 1 year ago. This was the worst meal that we have had in some time--she had salmon had to be farm raised very fishy tasting--I had halibut was dry and no taste simply disgusting--the only thing that was good was the calamari and my salad---we will never eat at this restaurant again
It was nice. The steaks were amazing. However the lobster was severely over cooked. It took two hours to eat due to the back up with parties so that was a bit frustrating and the refused to sit us even a minute early. We were told our table wasn't ready so we sat there waiting by the door for 15 mins or so... Didn't see people coming out or anything and than when we walked over all the tables in that area were emptied and even got out choice of seating? So that was strange. But for steaks, I highly recommend going. That was fantastic.
Henry was the best waiter we've had in a long time!
Wish there were more vegetarian options on the menu besides pasta. At least the vegetable sides tasted much better this visit than they did on our last visit in February (very bland and the Brussels sprouts were sweet then). If you're a vegetarian trying to be a pescatarian, this is a great restaurant for that with delicious wild salmon & halibut entrees on the menu.
We had a lovely birthday dinner with my Dad!
