Best steak on the mountain. I was very impressed with the Tomahawk steak. Perfectly prepared and cooked.
Vista features excellent steaks, a great wine list and wonderful table-side service.
Their piano and featured singing performers are very talented and will perform your requests.
The view is looking east towards Mt Si and is spectacular
Table-side preparation of scampi and caesar salad are highly recommended and truly enjoyable. Save room for the cherry jubilee dessert prepared by an real expert!
Steaks are the featured fare.
Other menu items including Northwest seafood selections are not the focus here.
We came here in our Wedding night & the staff were phenomenal. We were running a little late & it was no trouble at all. They sat us at a beautiful table & had pre- prepared the table with rose petals. It’s was so romantic. The food was to die for & we were both in heaven!
We enjoyed ourselves so much & it definitely something me will look back on & remember as being an amazing end to our wedding night!
If you don't have the points to pay for your meal, I'd pass. Prices have gone up over the years and quality/portions have gone down. There are better values in town if you are paying cash.
Super amazing food, best steak I have ever had! All around wonderful experience and Vista is quickly becoming one of our favorite restaurants.
We have been at Vista a few times and we have enjoyed it every time. Great staff and great food. The meats are excellent. Really good view if the weather is clear enough. It is not a cheap eats place but the service, view and food are worth the price. Vista is at par (or better) with all of the other top steak places in greater Seattle and much easier for parking.
We visited this restaurant two weeks ago and through their self admission ended up comping our whole dinner. We were so impressed that we came back again and the service was absolutely spectacular, the food was great, and Autumn was our server again and she was fabulous.
I went with my mom and my brother we had a wonderful dinner it was family time together and our waiter made it even more special
All the employees were amazing and made our Anniversary wonderful 2nd year.
Excellent meal and prompt service. Cost about qhat you would spend at other high end eateries around Seattle but they certainly have an edge on the others with table side prep of some items and quality of the food.
The view is nice. Waiters and waitresses are attentive. Food is good, will go again, soon.
Was not will we expected at all. When we do not realize the casino allowed smoking and that there is not a separate entrance to the restaurant. So, unfortunately, you have to walk through the smoke-filled casino to get to the restaurant. The food was average we had a filet mignon that was you were that stuff lacking in overall flavor.
Birthday dinner. GREAT!
Great dinner...lots of table presentations...worth the money
Unfortunately, our dining experience was not very good this time (we have had very good meals before). The Caesar Salad had way TOO much dressing. My wife's filet mignon was cooked perfectly, but unfortunately I went for the Pork Chop and it was undercooked not edible. Since we have a rule of never sending anything back to the kitchen, I had to settle for eating a baked potato and rolls. Not a very good 38 year anniversary dining experience to say the least.
Overall very good. Seated in a timely manner, although our booth was next to the service entrance and so wasn't particularly romantic (we visited on Valentines Day). My wife's warm spinach salad was neither warm nor included any dressing, and my lobster chowder (one of the evening specials) was sadly quite bland. Things improved with the main course. My NY steak and my wife's ribeye were perfectly cooked, and the accompanying side sauces were quite good. We also had an order of the roasted Brussels spouts that were excellent. The dessert menu was tempting, but we were quite full from dinner and so were able to resist. The wine list was varied and inclusive, and the by-the-glass selection adequate. Again, overall an enjoyable meal. We'll visit again.
Love the quality of food at Vista. Steaks equal high end steak houses, and menu has good variety of seafood too. Must order the fancy legs Dungeness crab app! It is a great value—you get approx 12 crab leg meat pieces, out of the shell, ready to eat—delicious! I sometimes order this as my meal, but it is a nice amouse bouche for up to 6 ppl. My husband always has the filet mignon, which is cooked to med rare perfection, but many of our friends prefer flavor of the tomahawk or ribeye. The wedge salad w/bay shrimp is a perfect starter. Sweet bread comes w/meal. Good selection of wines.
FIXED MENU was AWESOME!! Please keep it till your season picks up cuz we'll be back! Compliments to the chef-do frequent other great rests-El G. SStar JJHowie but Vista prepared best Salmon per my request!! Filet melted in Bday husbands mouth!! Service was gracious! Dessert was also very beautifully presented & also so scrumptious! Evening was perfect-no rushing!!
Service was good, food was great. Friendly, upscale atmosphere. Will definitely go back.
My girlfriend and I each ordered the gold grade filet and they were incredible, in fact everything we ordered was excellent except the salad my girlfriend ordered. The salad lack imagination and had barely any dressing on it. Had the salad lived up to the standards of the steaks, potatoes, asparagus, shrimp cocktail and bananas roster would have given a five star review.
Excellent service, great atmosphere, and outstanding food.
Celebrated a special birthday. Great atmosphere, food and wait staff.
We had a great time. The food was amazing! Tender steaks, excellent crab cake and delicious salads. We will return for another special occasion.
We enjoyed everything about Vista. This was our first visit. The Bartender and staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The restaurant was fabulous! we had the best Birthday due to how the restaurant waitress and staff presented their self. Thank you for such a wonderful memorable visit.
Food is Deeeelicious and the service is Excellent!!
My belief this is the best steak house in Washington state.
Took 40 minutes after finishing entree to get dessert
My husband and I went there twice...so far. Every time we went, the restaurant Employees were super friendly and to my service dog, BoBo. The food have been awesome. Price- a bit high.
Great Service. Great Food. We will return. And recommend to anyone looking for a special occasion place.
From start to finish everything was first class EXCEPT the coffee was NOT decaf. We were awake in the early hours and obliged to watch TV while our caffeine levels subsided to the point where we could fall asleep again. We do not blame the waiter, Bryce for this error. His performance was superb as was Andy's who created the wonderful scampi dish. And we will return to Vista again for the outstanding food, service and ambiance.
Excellent once again! The meal, the service and the ambience make it my go-to place for special occasions.
I have enjoyed this restaurant on a number of occasions and it never fails to delight me and my guests for its ambiance, impeccable service and DElicious food.
For steak heads and beyond and butter beyond belief but you can modify and be healthy
Overall we were very pleased. Any areas that I feel could’ve been approved upon were overlooked due to our excellent service from Henry. When we go out to spend that much on dinner it’s important that not only the food is good, but the experience is guided by a true professional. We completely enjoyed every moment thanks to Henry’s remarkable service.
Great food, wonderful wait staff. Relaxing and warm atmosphere. Good for special occasions and everyday dining. Best steak I have had in a while. Highly recommended.
The food was excellent, it was prepared to perfection and the presentation was wonderful. The waiter (Henry) was absolutely the best and was attentive without being intrusive.
Outstanding service and food! My only complaint was the smell of cigarette smoke every time someone opened the door from the casino into the restaurant.
this is a wonderful place, food and service is GREAT!!!.....very MUCH worth the drive (which really is not that far)
This was my third time there and can assure anyone that I will be back, the food, music, atmosphere, waiting staff are always right on target and there when you need something most of the time there before an (Awesome Restaurant). Desserts are out of this world.
A friend and I went to see Roger Hodgson (former SuperTramp singer and songwriter) at the Snoqualmie casino. For both of us, it was the first time visiting the casino for any reason. I knew we should get there early to park and so wanted to book dinner reservations if there was a nice restaurant on site. Vista had good Yelp reviews so I booked. Wow. What...a...pleasant...surprise! Parking was easy, picked up tickets from Will Call (about 50 feet away from Vista entrance) and arrived just in time for our reservation. Decor is nice. I think it's best described as corporate upscale restaurant looks - very 'plain' in the artistic sense, but nice and with a feeling of being in a fine dining establishment. I had brought an old and rare wine from my cellar. I'd been unable to see a wine list online, plus I always bring my own wine since my cellar is better than just about any wine list. The waitress seemed to immediately recognize the bottle as something worth decanting and she sent one of the wine stewards to our table. He was friendly, talkative, reasonably knowledgeable, and helpful with the menu as well. He took the time to retrieve a nice Opus One bottle from their cellar and unwrap it for me - I suppose just eager to impress. I didn't bring reading glasses so couldn't look at their wine list but my dining companion browsed it and said it was impressive, but I can't vouch for that. Their corkage was $25. The restaurant is a steak-lover's gold mine. They obtain Kobe-style beef from a regional farm and have graded beef for all the main steak dishes. Diners can choose the "house" steak (my term, not theirs) or go with Silver, Gold, or Black grades of beef marbling. I was very happy to try this and went for the Gold filet. Oh, and Vista was the first restaurant that listed Very Rare on the menu with temperature ranges and explanatory notes. Steak was cooked perfectly. We had steak tartare appetizer and it was excellent! I'd definitely return to Vista.
