Autumn was a great server. The lobster was overcooked, but the steak was delicious... just wished it was a larger cut. The hostess who looks like Jessica Alba was very sweet... The older Asian gentleman was alot of fun...
We had the scallops and the halibut.. The scallops were the best of the two... The portion was huge and they were very tasty..
we loved the staff and the view can't be better. Get there for happy hour before dinner...
Ordered the clams. They were terrible, sand not cleaned out and couldn't eat them. No alternative was offered in its place. Most of the time food is great, not sure what happened here. Disappointed, but will give Vista another shot.
Our server did not seem very personable. It felt like she was rushing us through the experience rather than letting us enjoy it, and the restaurant was almost empty. I ordered halibut and it was over cooked, which I don't want when paying that price. Also, a sketch artist came and sat down without asking to sketch my husband and not only was it way off from how he looks, it was unwanted. Rambo, however, was wonderful. We have been there in the past and a male server made the experience great, I wish I could remember his name.
Ambiance, view, service and outstanding food. A wonderful dining experience unlike anyplace else on the Eastside. Go just for the food or for the entertainment and gambling. You might win enough to pay for dinner! We love this restaurant.
My wife and I come here about twice a year for a treat! It's such a wonderful place to have a date. When your done eating a fantastic meal you can always go and enjoy a nice premium cigar at Lit Lounge across the casino floor. Service is top notch, food is top notch and the view doesn't lack romance!!
We always have an enjoyable experience at Vista. Staff are always friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Food always delicious.
Steaks were perfectly marbled and prepared. The dungeness crab app was amazing--got about 10-12 shelled leg pieces piled up in a creamy butter sauce. The wedge salads and french onion soup were perfect starters!
Our son-in-law who has been staying with us while waiting for the rest of his family to move up to WA took us here for a special "Thank You" for all we have been doing to make him feel welcome in our home. We had a wonderful dinner, loved the live background baby grand piano music. The server and the rest of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wine we ordered. It was a special evening for all three of us. We totally enjoyed ourselves. My daughter has already put her request in for us going again as soon as her and the kiddos have moved up here. We posted pictures of our evening on Facebook and many friends and family loved the post of our entrees and the Cherries Jubilee.
Great service. Outstanding food. Staff was super attentive without being overbearing. Never felt like we were interrupting their day. It was all about us! Absolutely worth it. We went for a special occasion and they made it very memorable. Great experience.
Our waitress was too chatty but the other staff was great. It was our honeymoon and they gave us free dessert which was great. Food was excellent.
Great atmosphere, excellent service, steak was amazing. The only beef I had, was the lobster was seriously lacking in flavor and quality! Everything else was worth the pricey bill!
Very impressed with this restaurant. Food and service on point. I'll be back.
Fantastic as always. Steaks are cooked with perfection that easily rivals Daniels & El Gaucho. View is tremendous. Service is top shelf. Love it!
Great place for dinner pre concert. Salmon and Halibut were excellent, bread was warm and nice on a cold day.
Wonderful food and wonderful, incredibly attentive and informative service. Well worth making a reservation and spending that couple extra dollars for an exquisite meal with impeccable presentation and flavor. The wait staff had fantastic recommendations and were spot on!
The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and prompt. Definitely recommend.
This was our 3rd time here and it was just as amazing as the first. We went up for Christmas dinner and split the tomahawk steak. The brussel sprouts were some of the best I have ever had. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We weren't sure about a wine and the wine steward came over and the first question he asked was about our price range. He wanted to make sure he wasn't offering us a super expensive bottle of wine. The atmosphere is great. The food is yummy. We will definitely be back.
Has a very nice Christmas dinner with my wife. Everyone from the hostess to the manager greeted us in a friendly and engaging manner. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant managed its reservations well as it was busy but not overcrowded. They clearly work hard to give great service. Just within the section we were in there was a party of at least a dozen, several groups of four or more, and then several couples like us. No one experienced any shortage of good service. Our food was served at just the right pace and was excellent. We had a London Broil that was perfectly prepared and for a side dish we had the roasted Brussels sprouts that were the tastiest vegetable I have ever had. For desert they served us with Cherries Jubilee which was the perfect cap to the meal. I have only one negative about Vista and that was you had to walk through the smoke filled casino to get to the restaurant. Once inside the air was pleasant though.
We always have a great experience at Terra Vista. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. My husband always has the steak, while I usually choose the seafood. Lovely location with impressive views, convenient for the Eastside. This is our favorite restaurant for celebrating special occasions.
The food was delicious, restaurant's atmosphere is cozy and music is comfortable and leisure.
We especially enjoyed the live music. A romantic retreat from the chaos and noise of the casino.
Although it has been open for a week under their "new" name called Vista, there weren't very many impressive moments. Henry, the waiter, was excellent in both performance and knowledge. In fact he was the only professional there. We witnessed wait staff stating inappropriate comments on the floor, the wait staff being trained, and VIP guests being treated differently and smoozed (Which I get as they are high rollers but us normal folk should not see that). We started with the tableside shrimp scampi that was clearly under cooked as the shrimp was still clear and squishy, but had decent flavor. Inchose to just eat the sauce and pasta though. The Thomahawk steak was very tender but full of fat. For $95 and marketed at 35oz, you would expect more meet and not majority bone/fat. Ambiance was a let down as the view was a parking lot and the music was live 70's love songs and not what you would expect in a steak/seafood establishment. The highlight of the night was Henry and his people skills, very personable, and always smiled. He brought my wife a rose for her birthday which I thought was classy. One last note, Cruzan rum is cheap and a low quality choice to cook the bananas foster.
My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. Loved the background piano music, the scenery was amazing, and the food outstanding.
I want to start off by saying that my food was very good and the service was friendly and attentive. I did have a few problems that i wouldn't expect at restaurant with the kind of prices that Terra Vista has. First, the restaurant reeked of cigarette smoke. I understand that I was in a casino that allows smoking, but there has to be better air quality in a fine dining establishment. My guests had cold sauces for their entrees (they are served on the side) and one was brought the wrong sauce which he didn't realize until he covered his entree with it. The menu was new and the server wasn't well versed on the changes, she had to come back to our table a couple of times in order to get everything correct. I felt the quality of the meat didn't justify the price on the menu and overall the value wasn't there. The menu selection was lacking any sort of exciting options - except dessert which was phenomenal. While I thought the food and service were both good, it just isn't worth the price you pay. When you can go to any nice steakhouse and receive better food and service for the same money and not have to smell cigarettes all night, I don't see how you can choose Terra Vista.
Birthday celebration, fun evening
Great service , great food, great drinks! A little pricey but very worth it. Will definitely go again.
We loved the piano player because it was so unexpected and the choice of music was great. Great steak, wine and chocolate martini.
Terra Vista is a great dining experience. The view from almost all tables is great, taking in the valley from Mt Si and going North along the Cascade foothills. Serving staff were very friendly and helpful. Great place to have dinner if you happen to be in the Snoqualmie Casino for other entertainment.
This was our second time and both times the steak was excellent.
Delicious food and atmosphere was relaxing. Alyce was very attentive and helpful. Henry, thanks for the wine recommendation. See you soon.
Probably the best Casino restaurant we've been to in Washington. We've been here many times and it never disappoints. The seafood is wonderful, and the steaks are really good too. Reasonably priced wine list is great. Always had good service too. Not sure how they do it, but hope they keep up the good work.
I had the salmon, which had excellent flavor! My only criticism, is that the portion sizes were quite small, especially for the price.
We had dinner to celebrate a birthday and before a concert on August 28th. They leave the door open into the smoky casino and the smoke permeated into the restaurant and made the experience unpleasant.
Very ordinary food. We dined before attending a concert.
The wait staff was great and attentive. The food was very ordinary. The small green salad was crisp and bright, very tasty vinaigrette.
The 6oz filet mignon I ordered was done a perfect medium rare, the cabernet wine sauce was barely a tablespoon that had dissipated on the plate. The truffle fries were tepid.
My husband had the salmon. It was just a little overdone from a sear and did not have any noticeable flavor accents from the sauce. It was a disappointment. For dessert I decided to share with him the cinnamon roll bread pudding. It's a massive spongy piece, half of the plate is covered in whipped cream (way too much). Tastes like a cinnamon roll should. The star should be the bourbon caramel sauce which unfortunately has a dull flavor and got absorbed into the spongy bread, which dulled its flavor even more.
The kitchen needs to produce a higher quality product. There's only so far great staff can make up for what I would consider an average product, for a hefty price.
The service charge was highlighted on the bill and thank you for calculating it only in the meal price EXCLUDING tax.
We likely will opt for another pre concert dining venue when we return for a concert in November.
Ate in the bar area and the "wagu" beef sliders my wife and had were GREAT and the caesar salad I had,was one the best I have ever had.
We arrived early but had no problems being seated. Everything was better than expected. Will return to dine again. Service was exceptional.
We were there to see "Donny Osmond" in concert. A 5pm dinner was the perfect time to have dinner with great energy in the restaurant, and the service was outstanding.
Great food and service plus amazing views of the Snoqualmie valley.
Excellent meal, service and great views. Wonderful upscale option at Sno Casino.
