It's hard to describe just how awesome the visit was to Vista (no longer called Terra Vista, BTW) at Snoqualmie Casino. We had reservations, and were greeted at the door by a manager & led to a table w/a view. Actually, all the tables in the restaurant had a good view of the scenery (which is, of course, amazing). The menu was clear, and easy to read. Our server, Andrew, was likely the best I've ever had in a restaurant (ask for him!), w/knowledge of the dishes and a really good sense of humor. During the meal a manager (Randy) checked on us more than once, and he also had a good sense of humor! We split the appetizer of bone marrow--oh, wow! And it was huge. We ordered the Black Ribeye and Silver Filet along w/an extra size of Brussels Sprouts. We were treated like royalty and the food would have pleased royalty. Oh--I would be seriously remiss if I didn't mention the mood music. Her voice was lovely, soothing, and perfect volume for the area. The Vista puts a 20% service charge on the bill (tips for all), but we thought it wasn't enough, so we tipped Andrew another 10%.
Service was excellent. Drinks were good. Steaks were nothing special for the price. We had the Tomahawk ribeye. It was not tender at all. The lobster was under cooked. They did take it back and cook it longer. Food presentation was good. I would not go back for the food.
We had an excellent dinner from start to finish. Our welcome bite, appetizers and meals were all terrific. Would highly recommend dinner and they have table side service too.
Wow Wow Wow. Perfect date night. We celebrated our anniversary. We had the perfect table. Food was amazing. Caesar Salad made right in front of us. Baked Alaska for desert. Just outstanding. From the moment you walk in the door, you are made to feel so special. Only negative I would say that even though the restaurant is smoke free, the smell of smoke is very strong in the restaurant from the casino
Fantastic food fantastic service! We will be back!
It was my birthday and I wanted to try this restaurant. Our waitress, Alyce was great and all the people were great! Food was the best steak I've had and all was wonderful. They gave me a rose and the waitress gave us ice cream tacos with a candle. DELISH!!! Want to come again.
Trainee as waiter should have been trained more. Really bad. Reflected on restaurant. Andy who made our Caesar salad and shrimp scampi was excellent. He was exceptional at his trade. The next time I go I will ask for Henry. Henry is a excellent waiter. I request Henry but always get someone else. I will insist the next time time.
We had a table outside on a beautiful night... Perfect. Amazing view, great food and service!
The food was delicious and the service was great. The only down side was that the smoke from in the casino comes inside the restaurant. They should have fans that blow the smoke back into the casino and keep it out of the restaurant.
Service was outstanding and the food quality fantastic. Prices are 5star plus, fine dining.
I wanna start by saying I always review a restaurant honestly and fairly. The dinner started off great, we were showed to our seat at once and prompted with water and menus immediately. After that it slowed down we spoke to three employees before our server came, understandably it was busy and looked like he was handling 4-5 tables alone. Time at this point seemed to reach a stand still, there was ample time to look over the menu, talk, drink some water, talk, look at the menu one more time, talk, sit and stare around the place, glance at the menu knowing I already made my choice, talk but realize I already talked about that, regrettably look at the menu again, contemplate my existence. . . Then he showed again and we ordered, having to look at my menu again cause I forgot during my contemplation of my existence what I decided on. After that excitement I reached inner peace as I noticed the extremely beautiful foothills surrounding us. I ordered the 34 oz vista tomahawk steak and my wife ordered the 6 oz filet. It. Was. Delicious. And worth the wait well worth it. When that amazing 34 oz of red meat was gently set down in front of me I thought I had traveled back in time when Kings and queens ruled and if your steak didn’t come with a bone the size of well a tomahawk handle you weren’t deserving of the title Man. I gorged like my ancestors would have and made them proud. After that dinner was a blur, and we found ourselves very satisfied with Vista. And we would definitely go back but maybe not order a 100$ steak, I spied quite a few delicious sounding options on their menu. Thanks vista and snocasino for making date night great.
Our party of four celebrated two birthdays with dinner at Vista prior to the Air Supply concert. We opted for outdoor seating which was very pleasant--the only downside is that certain menu items normally cooked tableside like scampi & Cherries Jubilee have to be cooked in the kitchen rather than at the table. Our group had salmon, scallops and scampi--all were hits with rave reviews for the scallops with porcini risotto as well as for the scampi. Because half the fun of ordering Cherries Jubiliee is the preparation at the table, we chose to move inside for that part of our dinner. All in all it was a wonderful experience.
The room is very pretty with huge windows, a gorgeous view of Snoqualmie Valley and nice decor. We were here for my hubs' 60th Birthday celebration. Accoustics are not the most ideal-- it was a tad bit noisy for us, esp. since there was a piano player and we were seated close to him.
Hubs started with a Martini-- I had a sip and it was the best I've ever had! My Pinot Noir wine was also excellent.
For fun, we ordered the Chacauterie platter for an appetizer.. it was so fun and so good! Included crackly bread, pate, sausage, pickled cherries, peppers, chutney and a bunch more things, displayed in a very cool way. So good!
For dinner we each had a steak and they were fabulous. My side dish was brussel sprouts, cooked with bacon and they were carmelized nicely, just wonderful.
Our waitress Cori was great, very efficient, friendly and helpful. She did bring a complimentary Baked Alaska in honor of my hubs' birthday for dessert.
A great dining experience, esp. for our special occasion.
We went to this particular restaurant because it is located in the Snoqualmie Casino and we figured we'd do a little gambling after dinner. I've been to numerous casino restaurants and have never seen anything as fantastic as this one. You would hardly believe it is located within the casino, as you are magically transported to a lovely, high-end restaurant scene. The food was exceptional! We dined on Scallops Rockefeller, Chateaubriand, and Banana's Foster. Many courses are prepared right at your table by a true professional. The drink options are plentiful as well. A musician provided live piano playing to enjoy while dining.
Just so no one is misled, all of these wonderful delights come at a price. We averaged over $100 per person. However, we all felt it was worth every penny!
Dinning area was very smoky, not pleasant for non smokers. Waiter was nice enough but when our food arrived (Tomahawk steak and Lobster tail) he decided to use our meal as a sales prop to the table next to ours and also allowed the table in front of us to take photos of our meal. The waiter then sliced our steak and removed the lobster tail from the shell before we were able to eat. The food was prepared very well however the delays in getting our meal to our plates made for lukewarm (border line too cool) food. We waited 10 minutes after our table was cleared before we were presented desert menus. We ordered Bananas Foster and after 25 more minutes of waiting I flagged down our server and requested the desert to be cancelled and to please bring me my bill. A restaurant in this price range should do better than this. I’m definitely undecided if I will return to this smoky dinning room.
Too Near to the Bar and Lounge Area; too Noisy.
Too much walking up and Down by your Serving Staf; perhaps there should be a separate pathway for Serving Staff brining Food to the Bar n Lounge Area instead of currently passing the Dining Area so frequently.
King Salmon was very good; Blue Label Burger was not so good.
Absolutely outstanding service, food and piano music!
Great changes at Vista with Randy the new general manager and a delicious new menu! Steaks are melt in your mouth served with your choice of sauces. The scallops Rockefeller are a favorite. Seafood tower is impressive. Ask for Corey our favorite server, she is a true professional.
New live music changes up the vibe and is also a nice addition.
Food was very good, but was fairly expensive. Highly recommended if you can afford it................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
We went out for Father's Day dinner and it was fabulous! The staff was professional and the tableside service was incredible!
So I have been to Vista now about 4 times, the service has been super consistent and very on par with what you would from fine dining. The food, oh wow, the food is VERY good, I have thoroughly enjoyed table side Caesar salad, Chateaubriand, Snake River Farms Gold Steak, table side Bananas Foster, so amazing. I have had the privilege to eat at some very nice places all around the world and I do think they stack up to some of the best restaurants in the Northwest.
The beef selections were outstanding and the service was excellent. Table-side salad and dessert preparation was a nice treat. The territorial view of the Snoqualmie valley was beautiful. If it had been a little warmer we would have dined outside.
This is our third time eating at Terra Vista and another excellent dining experience. Outstanding service and the most delicious mouthwatering meals combined with a wonderful ambience put this restaurant at the top of our list for a great dining experience!
Fantastic food and service. Went for anniv dinner and shared chateaubriand. Perfect. Great wine list. Lovely service.
Ambiance... unfortunate very strong odor of cigarettes from the casino. Really detracted from our experience. They need much better ventilation in the restaurant.
Lastly- who the heck designed the architecture so that the beautiful view is 50% obstructed by beams running criss cross in front of every window, at eye level? Seriously WTF? Would never hire which ever architecture firm did that. Insanity.
We will go back only to sit outside on the deck with full view and no smoke!
Lovely piano music during dinner. Excellent quality steaks!
Had a fabulous date night dinner before a concert at the venue! Food, wine, service and view was great!!
The waitress was good but service slow! The food was good.
Our party of four adults enjoyed a wonderful dinner. The only thing off was I ordered my very expensive steak medium and it was rare. Everyone had their food and the manager offered to send mine back but I didn’t want to be the only one not eating. He gave me a free dessert
I don’t understand how at 75.00 minimum a head, you can’t get the steak right the first time
First off, the food was excellent, but over-priced.
Our visit got off to a poor start when the host at the front desk could not find our reservation (for four people). They had a full restaurant, and the best they could offer us was a two-hour wait. They did not make much of an effort to fix the problem, which, it turned out, had a simple solution. What happened was our friends arrived about ten minutes ahead of us and were seated. The hostess who seated them then must have erased the reservation, despite the fact that only half the party had arrived. Before we arrived, a new host took over the front desk, and that is when the problem started. He (Troy) didn’t know half our party was already seated, and he couldn’t find the deleted reservation, so we were denied entry. I specifically asked Troy if it was possible that our friends had arrived, but he didn’t even check.
We fixed the problem ourselves by texting our friends, and they told us they were waiting for us inside. We told Troy, and we were seated.
I will say that our waiter, Henry, did a good job to make the rest of our dinner an enjoyable occasion. The manager eventually comped us our appetizer and dessert. Troy did apologize as we were leaving.
If we do return to Vista, then i will be sure to bring a hard copy of my reservation with me as proof.
Best steak on the mountain. I was very impressed with the Tomahawk steak. Perfectly prepared and cooked.
Vista features excellent steaks, a great wine list and wonderful table-side service.
Their piano and featured singing performers are very talented and will perform your requests.
The view is looking east towards Mt Si and is spectacular
Table-side preparation of scampi and caesar salad are highly recommended and truly enjoyable. Save room for the cherry jubilee dessert prepared by an real expert!
Steaks are the featured fare.
Other menu items including Northwest seafood selections are not the focus here.
We came here in our Wedding night & the staff were phenomenal. We were running a little late & it was no trouble at all. They sat us at a beautiful table & had pre- prepared the table with rose petals. It’s was so romantic. The food was to die for & we were both in heaven!
We enjoyed ourselves so much & it definitely something me will look back on & remember as being an amazing end to our wedding night!
If you don't have the points to pay for your meal, I'd pass. Prices have gone up over the years and quality/portions have gone down. There are better values in town if you are paying cash.
Super amazing food, best steak I have ever had! All around wonderful experience and Vista is quickly becoming one of our favorite restaurants.
We have been at Vista a few times and we have enjoyed it every time. Great staff and great food. The meats are excellent. Really good view if the weather is clear enough. It is not a cheap eats place but the service, view and food are worth the price. Vista is at par (or better) with all of the other top steak places in greater Seattle and much easier for parking.
We visited this restaurant two weeks ago and through their self admission ended up comping our whole dinner. We were so impressed that we came back again and the service was absolutely spectacular, the food was great, and Autumn was our server again and she was fabulous.
I went with my mom and my brother we had a wonderful dinner it was family time together and our waiter made it even more special
All the employees were amazing and made our Anniversary wonderful 2nd year.
Excellent meal and prompt service. Cost about qhat you would spend at other high end eateries around Seattle but they certainly have an edge on the others with table side prep of some items and quality of the food.
The view is nice. Waiters and waitresses are attentive. Food is good, will go again, soon.
