You will come back after you try our cebiche, and pisco sour!
Severely understaffed our waitress literally came to the table 3 times in two hours also we sat right by the kitchen and I would hear the bell ring indicating that food was done however the waitress wouldn’t get to it for approximately 10 minutes at times. We were one of the first to get seated however we received our meal last and there were only three of us. When the food finally arrived my steak was overcooked and not hot as a result of sitting so long also the host was sick although she had a mask on she was constantly wiping her runny nose. I’m extremely disappointed the first two times I’ve been here I was extremely satisfied!! In addition I had requested upon booking that I was there for a birthday and asked for a small candle to be placed on top of a small dessert that I had ordered which was also overlooked!!
The food was average at best ; the service was terrible. I would not go back.
Amazing drinks food was beautifully cooked and the staff were very polite and helpful the ambiance was just so relaxing
Food was amazing! Happy Valentines
This is a really good Peruvian restaurant, clean flavors and really good traditional recipes. The service was also very good.
The food was absolutely delicious, my only issue was that the waiter took a bit long to come take our order and fill our water glasses but besides that it was amazing. Totally recommend this place!
It was great!
Amazing food. Service was great. The ambiance was very intimate and casual great a date. Waitress was very nice and kind. Will definitely go back again.
Service was great, food was great! Highly recommend!
Delicious cocktails! Great atmosphere. Food is slightly overpriced for the quality in my opinion.
We like to try restaurants with "a special difference". Vista Peru fit perfectly. With so many in Philadelphia we are drawn to ethnic foods. Both of us like to cook so when we tasted the dishes carefully crafted by the Vista Peru chefs, and served to us so pleasantly by Dolce we were entranced by the combination of fresh produce, subtle aromas, and marinades that created delicate spicy flavors. After enjoying the dinner we understood the simplicity of the décor of minimal distraction. It was well worth wilding the windy weather; and we were rewarded by that fragrant dinner two days later at home.
The food was delicious as were the drinks. Service was very attentive. Will return for sure.
I never had Peruvian food. The flavor packed appetizers, dishes, and drinks were something worth going back to. I rarely visit restaurants twice but this is worth revisiting.
Outdoor dining was very dirty, bird feathers flying into the food. Felt forgotten while outside.
Excellent service, food and ambiance! Yes, seems difficult to achieve but it's true. Be sure to include a pisco sour in your order.
We loved the food and the service was really good
Excellent food and friendly efficient service. We enjoyed the PAPA A LA HUANCAINA, JALEA MIXTA, and the NECO SORTENO. The ceviche here is very good, nd they make an excellent cocktail.
The dishes we picked were bland. Would try again and ask for recommendations on the dish. Service was slow to take our drink and appetizer order. Food came out fast.
The food was absolutely wonderful
Great Service great food as always!
I brought one of the pickiest eaters with me and she Was is all ! Absolutely loved everything
Great food, great price. I have never been to/or eaten Peruvian food so it was a great change. Awesome service, and SUPER helpful as we didn't know what to get since menu was so large and had dishes we never heard of. Also got to try Peruvian wine which was different and great!
The food was absolutely delicious the service was wonderful. I can’t wait to go back
Casual environment, kind of place you come for the food.
Great food and very friendly service. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous
We ordered two seafood dishes which were very tasty and an excellent value.
Food was excellent. Will definitely return
Went to Vista Peru while they had outdoor dining and the staff took their time to really clean from one group to the next. Our food was incredible, I ate so much I had trouble walking to my car afterwards because the food was so tasty. Looking forward to going back when I can try their indoor dining!
Waitress was good but food took well over an hour and there were only 5 tables occupied. Two entrees came out at one time and 15 minutes later the other two guests were served. One entree was ceviche which had to have been made in advance. Maybe Covid related but food was great. I would try again-it May have just been the day
Authentic Peruvian, good portion size with good ingredients. Service slightly slow but not bad at all. Would recommend the Paella Marisco, the grilled beef heart, and classic ceviche.
Good food but the services was too slow.
Our reservation was at 8, and we didn’t get seated till 9!!!
Waited 58 mins to be seated, another 26 for drinks and an extra 22mins for appetizers. NOT GOOD. Manager NEVER came to greet/apologize. We spent $200 for 3 people and the food was HORRIBLE! Overcooked seafood and bland food. Not worth it. Go someplace else. Only good thing was our server, IRIS, she was nice, professional and courteous. Only one who cares. Do NOT go to Vista Peru, waste of money and time.
The food was delicious! The server was very nice and they were actually pretty quick to get all our food out
Authentic Peruvian food
My wife and I had outdoor dinner at this restaurant during the pandemic in Philadelphia. It was fantastic that we were able to sit in the street which was closed off for outdoor dining. It’s not fair to judge the restaurant’s ambience based on the situation however it was noisy. We really like the food and there is a huge menu with a lot of options. The ceviche was the best we have ever had.
Delicious food, great drinks, must try their pisco sour (with flavors, too)!
Amazingly fresh and delicious seafood. Service can be improved. Outdoor dining is always challenging to control the noise.
The ceviche was very, very good. The anticuchos was amazing. The parrillada de mariscos was solid, not as good as the other two. Outdoor seating was very nice, and the passionfruit and mango juices were awesome.
We love this place every time we come! It’s the best place around for authentic Peruvian food!
It was amazing! Food was savory and delicious. Definitely coming back!
