I have mixed feelings. We were coming looking forward to going to the rooftop. We were told when we arrived it’s only open on the weekends. The menu is limited. The drinks were good and the ambiance is really cool. Very intimate and cute for date night. We didn’t eat any food, we also were charged regular prices instead of happy hour, which we didn’t realize until after, because our server did not tell us about, only to realize when we had already paid.
Love it. The food was great and the service was awesome. Very attentive.
Watch out at night as neighborhood a little sketchy
First off...Arturo, our server, was excellent. Our first time dinning here and we ordered the following:
Grilled Peach Salad - Very good but note that the grilled pears are served cold, not fresh off the grill.
Margarita Pizza - This was a miss. Heavily cheesed pizza, soft crust and initially no basil.
Veal Milanese - Excellent! Veal cooked perfectly and arugula perfectly dressed. Would order again.
The prices are reflective of casual dinning but the atmosphere and decor is definitely elevated.
Would definitely go back to explore more of their menu....just maybe not the pizza.
Appreciation lunch for an employee
From the moment we walked in we received the BEST service ever from the manager, our server Danny was very helpful, and friendly, thank you Danny for your amazing service. We were celebrating one of my friends birthday, the manager gave us the desert on the house since it was her birthday, we didn’t want to leave. The ambiance, the drinks and ofc the food of this place is TOP, I would definitely be back soon.
I arrived to Vista with a reservation made 2 weeks in advanced. We were looking forward to it, since we had so many good experiences there before the pandemic.
Place is as nice a always. However, was so unfortunate to have a waitress named Andrea who simple ruined our night. As soon as we got at 4 pm on a Sunday she said she could not take our order because the kitchen was behind.
Seems that the administrator told her to warned te clients. She did this in a very poorly way; we tried to get some some sort of an estimate of when we will be able to eat and after 20 min she wouldn’t try and felt bother by us wanting to eat something.
At the end, our food came at 5 pm.. 1 he after we sat. She had the balls of tell us at 515 if we could pay.. because she was leaving and if we didn’t she would loose her tip...
you imagine?? She person who messed up ur night telling you to stop ordering, close the check so she could get her tip? Food was ok, nothing great.
I don’t think we will ever be back. We were so disappointed
Even though we had a reservation early they wanted to give us a ridiculous table!! Service could be improved like we had to wait a long time to order drinks again, the waiter was hard to get hold of. Food was great, drinks were delicious.
Where do I start, the food was so delicious and you have to try the octopus. It taste so fresh, clean, well seasoned and cooked. I've tried a couple other dishes on the menu and I can say none of them disappoint. I honestly feel everything on the menu is going to taste amazing. The service and drinks was amazing and made my lunch with the family so much fun. Honestly everyone was great. Definitely will be back again.
I made a reservation for my boyfriends birthday and we were seating by the exit of the restaurant, people were walking in and out. The server was completely inattentive, asked if we wanted sparkling water or regular and failed to mention the sparkling water was 8$ a bottle. After taking my order the server came back 20 minutes later and informed me they were out of the lobster ravioli I ordered. I told her I would re check the menu and she came back another 20 minutes later to take my order, and I ordered the chicken ravioli which had no chicken in it. I was very disappointed and won’t be coming back here.
Really good food and delicious drinks! Great vibes, totally recommend for a date night or girls night out.
My husband and I ordered an octopus as our main dish after having some drinks and appetizers. After ONE HOUR waiting for the food, my husband asked the waiter to please check in on our order. And that was when the waiter told us that they were ruining out of octopus! Really?! After an hour waiting. Qe ended up leaving the restaurant without having any food.
Food and service were great! It was a little too loud for my liking, but everything else was awesome!
Information from waitress was not right, and then management was did not cared when we explained the situation.
Very nice atmosphere, food was delicious and service very friendly!
Absolutely amazing! The food and drinks were sooo good! Great atmosphere and service. I highly recommend this place for birthdays, business meetings or just to chill honestly. The quality of the food and drinks are reasonably priced and worth it.
Great food, great service, and great ambience. This place is as close to perfect as you can get.
Great place for Sunday brunch. Nice Latin vibe, great cocktails and food.
Amazing staff, place is very nice, food and drinks were 😍
Amazing food and such a hidden gem here in Miami. 10/10
We had a great time. Our server was great and knew the menu well. Every suggestion was amazing! Food, drinks, and ambiance for such a great price. I love this place.
We went to vista as part of the Miami Spice promotion. Other items on the menu looked tempting. The outdoor/patio surroundings were comfortable and welcoming. Presentation of the food was good. vista is not a neighborhood restaurant for us. Well worth the 11 mile drive.
Great Happy hour and service by Arnaud
We arrived late to our reservation but they sat us quickly and without issue. Our server made great recommendations after we stated dietary restrictions. We had the Branzino, Mushroom pasta, artichoke, and burrata. Everything was amazing start to finish. We were so happy with all of the dishes especially the pasta. Our server recommended a nice Chardonnay to accompany our meal and it was perfect. I appreciate the attention given to us by the staff. The server was the best and I can remember his name :(
The ambiance is really nice, it looks like you are in an open-air oasis. Service was excellent and the food delicious, specially the eggplant.
I went to Vista to meet a friend for drinks and ended up ordering their charcuterie board for a snack. What a disappointment. One would think it would be hard to go wrong with a plate of cold cuts and cheese. But the chef didn't fail to disappoint. There were only two selections of meats...prosciutto and salami. Seriously? There was also only two selections of cheese...one of them being so dry that you needed a hose to wash it down. To add insult to injury the bread was old and stale...thank god for the hose. As for the accompaniments, a charcuterie board should include a choice of "jams" and not just the lonely honey that was offered. The spicy olives had flavor but were so desiccated that you couldn't even scrape the meat off with a knife. WTF! For the price of $21 and the reviews written about this restaurant, the expectations were a lot higher than what was actually delivered. A huge disappointment.
I am loathe to give this restaurant a second chance as I am a firm believer that if you can screw up a dish as simple to put together as a charcuterie board, then the skill and enthusiasm to create a more "involved" meal...is just not there. Once bitten...twice shy.
Food and service are on point! The miami spice menu was perfect and great for sharing! The Bronzino is a must!!
Staff was very rude towards the end of the meal as we were approaching curfew hours. They told us “you need to pay immediately and leave” when we were waiting for our bill.
Nice ambiance outside surrounded by greenery, food choices however were limited. When most restaurants are offering vegan friendly options all over Miami, I was disappointed to see hardly any here. Also instead of offering existing wines at reduced prices during happy hour ,they offered special wines I wouldn't even use for cooking, for their happy hour. Unfortunately I wouldn't even go back for Happy Hour.
This restaurant was by far our favorite in Miami.
The atmosphere is outstanding as well as the quality of food.
I would highly recommend dining at Vista!
Our avocado toasts were really really good. Service was great. Always a nice experience.
Excellent service and even better food
Love this place. Service, food, drinks are very good!
Vista is one of my favorites restaurants in Miami. Their inventive seasonal menus always feature fresh ingredients and beautifully plated dishes. My table ordered several appetizers including octopus and a grilled peach salad in addition to the Miami Spice menu. Everything was delicious as always - A typical night out feels like a special occasion at Vista.
This place never disappoints. The food is awesome , service great and I hope they survive this nightmare !!!
Came here for happy hour. It is a beautiful ambience and a great space. They have a good happy hour menu with a lot of food options. We had the purse-strings (like a pear ravioli), cacio y pepe pizza, and sopresata pizza. The purse-strings were good, but the cacio y pepe pizza was very dry. I expected it to be more creamy with all that cheese. My friend enjoyed her flan for dessert (they light it on fire in front of you which is fun) and I had the Nutella bread pudding which was disappointing. There wasn't much chocolate or Nutella flavor to it.
The service after our initial encounter with our waiter was abysmal. The food came out fast but it took forever to get glasses of water, our plates sat empty in front of us, and it took us forever to wave down anyone to get more water, order dessert, etc. Our waiter constantly passed our table- he just didn't bother to stop and check on us and wouldn't stop when we tried to flag him down. Tables that came for proper dinner after us left before us so it wasn't a short staffing issue. He, of course, was all over getting us our bill when it was time to add tip. The whole experience took over 2 hours, and one of the Covid recommendations right now is not to spend more time in the restaurant than is needed to decrease exposure. Thanks to the poor service we were definitely down there longer than needed. They also blast the music which is against regulations- you aren't supposed to be shouting at your table mates.
PS- someone should tell them that the succulents on the table do actually need to be watered once a month. The one on our table was dying so I watered the poor thing once I finally actually got a glass of water.
I went in for the first time, and it looked magical!! Out server Ricardo was super nice and helpful. Our bartender Chris was extremely helpful in making our drinks. I forgot the name of the drink.. something bubbly? It was pink, pretty, and tasted soo good!! Thank you all for being there with me 😊
We’re celebrating my daughter’s Birthday and Fiorella and her team were dedicated to give us a great experience. Personalized, courteous, respectful, caring about social distance and mask usage for the staff and customers. The cover terrace has a great ambience and ventilation. We feel safe and well treat. Thanks Fiorela and Team
