I had a great dinner at Vista right before seeing an spectacular at Palapa. It was my 3rd time at the restaurant & I will go again. Thank you!
The food was good. The drinks were adequate, watered down, and over priced.
Tab was too expensive for what we ordered. Not sure if I would go back.
My husband I had brunch at Vista and it was a great experience. Every staff member we encountered was nice and helpful. The manager, Arnaud, was welcoming and recommended the best cocktails. Food was served quickly and it was delicious and great quality. We even got to try some delicious Mezcal, compliments of Arnaud. It's small details like this that really make the visit even more pleasant and makes us want to go again. We are already planning our next visit!
Great service and food. Will definitely be back
La comida fue como comprada en un supermercado, un desastre. Y es caro. Nos pedimos un trago que lo dejamos todo, al igual que la pasta, y ni nos preguntarnos si nos gusto.
Excellent for foodies who want a nice lunch but quick service!
The best way I can describe my experience is just to say I do not recommend you spend your money here. It’s in a great location (which kept me coming back) but it has been disappointing every time. The food is low quality with a random sprinkle of truffle oil or expensive cheese to make you think it’s nice. We ordered grilled pears with balsamic and grilled peaches with no balsamic arrived in its place for some reason. The wait staff hovers to get you out of their but are otherwise inattentive. Every dollar I have spent there has been a disappointment. Should have just gone to one of the other cute spots in Upper Buena Vista.
It’s disappointing to get bagged mixed greens and a couple canned artichokes for $17.
Don’t go here. There are MUCH better places nearby.
Food was delicious went for breakfast, best French toast I’ve ever had.
Very good service
My favorite spot to recommend and visit. Great menu, very attentive waitress, the mosquitos were a problem. First time that’s ever happened and it was probably the 4th time I’ve been there. Anyways, Will def be back!
The food here was stellar and the place is so relaxed and cute. Hanging plants all over and a Mediterranean style aesthetic. The specialty cocktails are some of the best I’ve experienced in Miami in a while, you don’t often see a beverage list with all strong choices, they taste delicious and are crafted elegantly. Great menu choices for everyone. We took our nieces and nephews and everyone was beyond happy with their food. My boyfriend was very impressed with the brisket pappardelle, it was prepared expertly and al dente, he was surprised at the generous amount of brisket for the price. My fiocchi di pera was in a light and buttery sage sauce and despite being full I could not stop eating till the plate was clean. Also highly encourage trying the artichokes, they are so so flavorful. My server Dayneris and really all of the staff was very sweet and accommodating. Definitely recommend. Thank you Vista!
I selected Vistas for a birthday dinner with a friend on Sunday. The waitress that was a sign to our table was not in a very good mood. Additionally, I ordered a specific bottle of Chardonnay however was charged for another and yes you guessed it… It was more expensive. I ordered a beautiful charcuterie board that was absolutely stunning however it wasn’t the one that was initially ordered and again she upgraded it without asking. She was then off of her shift however she never said goodbye that someone else was going to come in and take over and it left us kind of waiting for service for longer than necessary. The manager approached the table at one point when I requested to see him and we didn’t get too far with him either. I will go back. And the reason I’ll go back is because I love the music and I really like the food.
I'm giving a 3 star becuase the service was not good. The server seemed distracted and not friendly. The supporting staff was better .Also the courtyard is extremely hot.I did ask to sit outside becuase I saw fans but the fans blow hot air and no breeze.Maybe the restaurant should invest in a better outside cooling system. The food was delicious and drinks on point.
Nice covered outdoor space with good drinks and food
Beautiful place, nice staff, great service on the bar… but poor food
Excellent service and the food was delicious. Both the burrata and grilled peach salad had too much greens ratio but still fresh and yummy. Absolutely loved the Brisket Parpadelle, the pasta cooked perfectly. Finished with the crime brûlée which was slightly eggy but still tasty.
Fresh, inventive cocktails and a great happy hour menu. Moderate noise level with a very sexy organic decor. Overall, enjoyed my visit and definitely will be back.
Food quality was low. Tiradito and tuna tartar were so inedible.
Been there many times and always love it.
My favorites are grilled peaches with stracciatella and octopus - one of the bests in town.
Service is fast and on point.
I got the chicken palliard and my boyfriend got the vista burger. The food was tasty and fresh. Nothing was greasy. I also got a cocktail which was very strong and delicious. Our waitress was attentive and sweet. Overall the establishment was beautiful and spacious. It was a major plus that the tables weren’t squished together.
Food was great, service excellent. Place was amazing.
The burger was amazing
Too hot inside, food was ok
High quality/healthy ingredients, pretty good food. Tuna tartare was a bit different - more citrus and less creamy than I'm used to (I think due to no avocado?)
$8 side of asparagus had 5 spears of asparagus which seemed a bit ridiculous - but tasted good!
Great ambiance and service!
excellent food and ambiance
Nice ambiance, food was pretty good. Just wish restaurants would have something to repel flies/bugs while eating outdoors.
The food was delicious but a bit over priced. The atmosphere is fabulous but I was eating outside and it was very hot even with the fans blowing. Parking was very difficult.
Karim was a great server and the food was great! Great location and ambiance
Excellent food. Plenty of flavor and simplicity. The fish is superb.
The ambience was fantastic and great for brunch. The drinks are absolutely delicious but the service was very slow. We received all the food at the same time rather than drinks first then appetizers or entre. The manager was very accommodating.
Goog food ,table and seat need improve ,parking area terrible on rear place good ambient overall pretty good
Been to your place many many times. last nights experience was not good.
started with waiting 20 min for valet parking as there was a line and only one person.
sat at the high top in bar area… which was ok. but seating us on a dirty table and had to wait about 4 min until it was cleaned.
then another 8-10 min before server came to great us. ordered a round of drinks and appetizers.
appetizers came in a good amount of time…drinks took a long time.
finally ordered dinner…..dinner took a while, but when someone else brought the food to the table the order was not correct. could not find our server. waiting a few moments decided to go ahead and eat because we were starving!
we finished round of drinks and our dinner. no one came over to the table to check if we needed anymore drinks or if the food or everything was ok.
finally about 20 min after we finished dinner. the server surfaced and said …sorry it’s busy. we said, we are not happy with you because we never saw you again after our food was delivered to our table.
he then proceeded to explain something that i will not write on here.
not a good experience!
It is a unique place. You'll eat in a tropical paradise. The place is beautiful. The many are original. We do not eat meat, and we found several options. The service was not as expected. We had to ask for silverware, and when asked for Parmegiane cheese, they forgot to bring it... so we had to remind them.
Little details, but it should not happen.
My daughter and I love their Sunday brunch. She gets the french toast and I get the salmon eggs Benedict. Amazing!! Not only is the food great, service is exceptional. The owner or manager goes to every table to make sure that you are happy. I can't say enough about the decor as well...the style and energy of the place is exceptional. A must to go to when in Miami.
I enjoyed this resturaunt however be prepared to spend some money. If you're looking looking a brunch spot their menu isn't equipt for brunch but the ambiance & mimosas will make you feel like you're in a brunch setting. Good date spot
Vista is vibrant, clean and refreshing and has a classic, vintage feel, with all the modern features of the Design District. It manages to deliver a high taste level sensory experience, to each of the senses.
Vista manages to teleport you to a tropical jungle oasis that gives you consistent ocean side breeze, even though it is located on a main street. There is surprisingly almost zero audible spillover from the street. The outdoor patio is an encased world that comes to life with vines, ferns & ivy that playfully dangle from the chocolate brown slats lining the translucent roof, allowing the natural light to trickle in. The walls are accented with bamboo and vintage style mirrors. Overall the feel is relaxed and pleasing and the service is immaculate. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor patio provides you with table, high top, bar and open booth style seating.
The playlist is smooth, upbeat, and soulful, playing new vintage soul like Leon Bridges and SAULT, American classics like Signed, Sealed, Delivered and vintage salsa.
The crowd is mixed, with footwear ranging from Jordans, to heels, to Gucci loafers and sparkly sandals. Vista is perfect for families, singles, date night, groups, birthdays and you can even bring your dog along. If it gets thirsty, they will provide it with a personal bowl of water.
The food is delightful. The serving sizes are perfect to fill you up without feeling stuffed. They host happy hour from 4-7pm, Monday-Friday, serving $8 cocktails, 1/2 price on selected bar bites & $5 bottles of Tulum.
The stuffed Zucchini flower is absolutely delightful; light, crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and perfectly paired with spicy bell pepper sauce to seal the package.
The Octopus is rich and tasty. It has a Smokey flavor, and is juicy and crunchy, while managing to keep the tenderness of the meat. Served over a black bean humus base, with salsa verde, artichoke, crispy yuca and baby potatoes.
This restaurant was amazing. The vibe and the food was great! Would love to come back again some time.
I was really excited about trying Vista. Sadly, this was the biggest disappointment. The service was awful. We ordered French Toast. It was served cold, and lacked flavor. We have had better French Toast @ IHOP. The waiter never checked on us. The hostess was a doll. The manager or owner was apologetic and gave us a discount and free cappuccino and hot tea. Vista was on my must try list. But wouldn’t got back because of the food and service. So sad, the whole experience was really lacking. Oh well, lots of places to dine in Miami.
Overall super cute fun spot. Their rooftop wasn’t available, and we asked for a hard poached egg that came out runny every single Time.
Very good experience dining here. Me and my family sat at the rooftop bar and enjoyed the fresh Miami air. The ambience was nice with good music that played in the background. The Vista Burger was delicious and they had a good selection of cocktails. My kids were happy with their food as well.
