   I really like VirtueFeed and Grain. The menu is great and the ambience is inviting. We were seated upstairs and it’s a really cool space! Sadly our service was terrible. Had to ask to find our waiter twice. Finally showed up to take our drink and food order—at the same time. Food came out but no cocktails. He said he had to go across the street for my husband’s bourbon but there were two bottles at the lower bar. No waiter in sight…you get my point. Honestly, he didn’t give two hoots. It was July 5th & the restaurant was not busy.

   Accommodated us immediately after arriving however did not mark the reservation as arrived and was contacted by opentable for allegedly being a no show which added extra calls and emails i did not care for in order to set the record straight. Food took a bit longer than one would have anticipated but the food was actually very good. Service was gracious and helpful all things considered

   Maybe it was a bad day but both indoors and outdoors smelled like dead fish. The food was meh and they seemed to be short handed.

   Absolutely loved it. Everything was really good, from apps to main entree. Ambiance was fantastic and bourbon flights were great. Highly recommend!!

   A nice place for dinner by the Potomac. Good food, but lots of noise. It is hard to talk to someone across the table.

   We lucked out and had a nice evening weather to dine outside. The food was wonderful, cooked to our requested levels, and very flavorful. Portion sizes were just right. It's a little pricey, but not as bad as other locations in the same area. There was the occasional jet landing at National, but the noise level was still fine for holding a conversation. Amelia was our server and she did an excellent job of balancing checking on us and noticing when we needed something (water, drink refills, etc) and leaving us be so that we could enjoy a night out. We would definitely return for another meal.

   Fun place for brunch or quick meal. Staff are excellent! Very hot upstairs in the summer and could use more casual seating areas.
