Virtue Feed & Grain is a modern American dining room and bar located near the Potomac River in Old Town, Alexandria. Our menu offers an array of original recipe, flavorful, scratch-made dishes, along with extensive selections from the bar, like handcrafted cocktails, craft and small-batch beers, and an impressive wine list. The rustic elegance of our large, two-story restaurant provides a vibrant atmosphere for any dining experience, as well as private and semi-private spaces for private events, celebrations, weddings, business meetings, and gatherings of all types. The seasonal outdoor patio on historic Wales Alley offers views to the Potomac and a fun, casual destination.**

*Unfortunately we do not take advance reservations on our outdoor patio, but we will do our best to accommodate requests as space is available.

    Always a great experience. Delicious food and exceptional service. The restaurant has nice ambience and is located near the water in old town. Highly recommend!

    Virtue Feed and Grain was great! There is something for everyone on the menu whether kids or people with dietary restrictions. The atmosphere is great and it's a lovely spot by the water

    We had brussels and crab dip for starters. Rockfish was recommended from waiter and it was delectable. Atmosphere and ambiance heavenly. Wait staff was exceptional. Hostess highly accommodating.

    Did not receive the kind of table I requested in my reservation. Service was sluggish and not well coordinated (ie: didn’t clear the appetizer plates before placing the entrees).

    Greeted upon arrival had reservation seated promptly great table inside yet next to screened open window. Val greeted us promptly very gracious friendly anticipated our needs . Always a great experience this however was exceptional. I'm in the business appreciate great service. Thank you Val virtue feed and grain. P.S. Blueberry mocktail outstanding

    Came here for my husbands birthday and we had such a great experience! We sat upstairs, had speedy service, and our server was checking on us constantly- he brought my husband ice cream, and always made sure we had everything we needed! Cocktails and spritzes were great and they had an huge wine/liquor selection. Plus flights!! 10/10, a must if you’re in Old Town!
