Virgil's Real BBQ - Las Vegas
Virgil’s Real Barbeque has been acclaimed as one of America’s top 10 BBQ restaurants by leading food critics. Established 1994 in the heart of NYC’s Times Square, Virgil’s Real Barbecue has become the popular destination for millions of tourist and locals.
Virgil’s Real BBQ was developed after extensive research, including a nationwide road trip in search of the best that BBQ has to offer. Local styles including Memphis pork ribs and chicken and Carolina pulled pork.
Virgil’s meats are smoked at a low temperature over indirect heat for up to ten hours with a unique mix of hickory, oak and fruit woods in order to impart the most flavor and to keep the meat from drying out. To complement the main menu of BBQ specialties, Virgil’s also offers a generous selection of traditional sides like barbecue beans, coleslaw and cheese grits and Southern-style desserts like banana pudding and Key Lime and sweet potato pies.

I loved it...We all loved it, The Thanksgiving turkey dinner was amazing! Great friendly staff that make you feel right at home!
Thanksgiving smoked turkey and all the fixins was out of this world .
Staff is amazing
We loved this place it was our second time there during our trip.
We will be back
Great food and awesome staff
Service was good food was good ribs were very good
Best date with my wife. The service was exceptional. The food made me rethink my choices on barbecue pork and made their's on top of my list.
In Las Vegas on a getaway. We are big fans of Virgils in NY. This one did not disappoint
The food and service was awesome!!! Just a little dark in the restaurant to read the menu
We were able to book online from Australia before we left which was super convenient. The food is amazing and value for money. You also get plenty on your plate. The wait staff are super friendly and helpful. As we had a Group of 13 we were given a large table upstairs away from the the normal hustle and bustle of a restaurant which meant we could talk and had a great time. He margaritas are pretty good and come in a large mug which several of our guests tried. Definitely will eat there again and have done so each trip to Vegas
Great experience. Zack was fantastic!!
Brisket and ribs are a must have. I’d fly back just for that food!!
Food was outstanding! Waiter was friendly and helpful.
Food and service were great. Noise level was ridiculous. Almost impossible to hold a conversation while sitting inside. Absolutely no reason to have the sound on for the football game showing on the giant television AND have music blaring. Have no plans to ever return to Las Vegas. If I do though, I may get food from there to go but very unlikely to stay and eat. Seriously, is the manager and wait staff deaf? If not now they will be shortly. If I worked there I would get OSHA involved due to the unsafe work conditions due to the noise level.
We loved how the waiters which off on our services. They were upbeat and professional.
Virgil’s margarita is 25 Oz of sugar water. Zero flavor. No liquor.
Go there for the great food. Not margaritas. Pats toe salad greasy. Not as good as it could be. All other food is great.
We enjoyed dinner and music st Virgil's. The Kansas City ribs , hush puppies, and cornbread were great! The live band "Sequence " was very good.
Drinks are very good and prices are very reasonable for Vegas. We had 8 people est and drink for under $400- tip included.
We will definitely go back next time.
Kelsey was our server. She was friendly, fun and efficient.
Just looking for something different. BBQ was excellent
The food was very good. The pulled pork was tender and juicy and the potato salad was delicious also. The coleslaw had a nice consistency and not overly creamy with a vinegary flavor which I also liked. The live music was also good. Nice place overall.
This was our first visit, and it was a good meal. We shared the hush puppies, which we enjoyed but they aren’t like what we’re used to. This were about the consistency of funnel cake fragments. Good taste, though.
The brisket was thinly sliced, unlike what you often get in Texas. The trash ribs were good, falling off the bone. The sauce has a good taste and is pretty mild.
Great beer selection and food was great. Very fast service.
Fun place to eat.
The food was good and decent portions. Very friendly staff.
After a slow start we had a great server. Friendly and attentive. The food was awesome - fried chicken - bbq tacos and buttermilk biscuits. Highly recommend!!
LOVE Virgil’s! Have been to NYC location and now Las Vegas! We made the mistake of sitting outside at Las Vegas location, too much noise! Will eat inside next time! Staff and food are fantastic!
Waiter was amazing wish I could remember his name but best service we have ever gotten here. We come here every time we come to Vegas and this time was the best.we had an amazing time both food and service where fantastic !!
Great food and service. The wings are huge!
Food was good but spendy. Collard greens were a little too sweet for me.
Best Chicken Wings! Food is a bit pricey for what you get. Server was great and the location is fun.
We had an awesome waitress named Hailey. She was very pleasant, had a great personality and was very attentive. The food was pretty good but the service was outstanding. Will be back next time we come to Vegas. Thanks for the great evening.
Delicious food with good portions.
Service staff were friendly and looked after us
Would definitely dine there again
T was the best waiter ever! Food was beyond delicious, as always! LOVE coming back to this place! So happy we don't have to go all the way to NY now to enjoy Virgil's!
We love Virgil’s worth going to the strip for.
Love going to Virgil's in Las Vegas. We always go to the one in NYC. Really good BBQ!
Food was excellent, service was also great-our waitress was extremely knowledgeable. Drinks were a bit too expensive...but we’re also in Vegas so perhaps it goes with the territory.
Only one kind of bbq sauce. It was too tangy. Nachos tasted like old pieces of dried out brisket
We decided to go out for a casual meal and they accommodated to us wonderfully as well as having excellent service. The live music also added an extra touch.
Got the Pig Put option that gave you a little of everything. Too much food for 2 people though. Thought the pulled pork was a little dry, but the spare ribs were excellent.
I enjoyed this restaurant much more than I expected. Massive cocktails and the BBQ was very good. Worth a visit - sharing platters recommended.
Nice atmosphere but needs a lot of work for us to return. Food was mediocre. The beef brisket was so fatty you couldn’t even chew some of it and really didn’t have much flavor. Service was slow for level of business. Definitely potential though. Nice location, atmosphere, etc
The waitress was very nice and refilled my drink 3 times without asking
Atmosphere was nice and food was nice. Could have more side variety as sideswerea bit of A disappointment
