Virgil's Real BBQ - Las Vegas
Virgil’s Real BBQ has been acclaimed as one of America’s top 10 BBQ restaurants by leading food critics. Established 1994 in NYC’s Times Square, Virgil’s was developed after extensive research, including a nationwide road trip in search of the best that BBQ has to offer. Local styles including Memphis pork ribs; Texas Brisket; Carolina pulled pork.
Our meats are smoked at low temperatures over indirect heat for up to ten hours with a unique mix of hickory, fruit woods in order to impart the most flavor to keep the meat from drying out. To complement the main menu of BBQ specialties, we also offer a generous selection of traditional sides like barbecue beans, coleslaw; cheese grit; Southern-style desserts like banana pudding, & pies.

Really nice waitresses! Food is super good!
So disappointed in this BBQ. We had the Pig Out platter. The chicken was so dry, it was inedible. It basically turned to powder in your mouth. The ribs and brisket were mediocre, but the pulled pork was really good. Drinks and sides were good as well. But when 3 out of 4 meats at a BBQ are sub par, it ruins everything. For the price, the food should be significantly better.
Family friendly, really good food with quick service.
Food was great!
It was a great experience!! I would definitely go back.
Excellent pulled pork and sides. BBQ sauce was flavorful without being overwhelming.
Mac & Cheese was solid, if not great. Fries were perfect and tasty. Service was quick and attentive. Overall it was excellent.
Their brisket is so good! Highly recommend it.
Our server was AMAZING!! &a Great help. Since it was our first time he let us know what would be a better bang for our buck and was super friendly!
DO NOT get the nachos or nacho fries. They were DRENCHED in BBQ sauce so much that it made my tongue feel raw. It too away from the taste of the meat, it was like eating a bottle of sauce. Service was good, and maybe I wasnt hungry enough and ordered the wrong thing but I wasted my money eating here, since I couldnt eat what I ordered and it was not offered to do anything about it.
Out of spicy bbq sauce at a bbq restaurant a little disappointed but over all great food
Thanksgiving Dinner was great! Food was delicious and drinks were good.
Everything was perfect for Thanksgiving the pig out was the best
Great food nice location
Great meal very delicious, meats had a nice smoked flavor to them. Plenty of food on the plate. Slightly pricey though but well worth it.
Food was very good. Waiter was very helpful with recommending food items.
My favorite place for ribs. Great beans also. I drive 7 hours a couple of times a year to eat here.
We had a very good meal which included a brisket sandwich burger sides of mashed potatoes and gravy and fries. All in all it was very enjoyable the only thing that we didn’t like which is not the restaurants fault is our family had to be divided into two tables of 3. We have young kids so this was a bit of a hassle but that is politicians decidingHow restaurants should run their business
It was great!!!
We ate at Virgil's after making an online reservation. The hostess was nice and cheery as she showed us to our seats. We were greeted by our waiter Marcus and he was a very nice guy and had a good sense of humor as we chatted and joked with him. He took our drink orders and answered our questions on menu items.
We ordered and we waited for our dinner to show up. We ordered different items and all of them were amazing. From the baby back ribs to the brisket and everything in between was tasty. The optional hot or mile BBQ sauce was a good touch for even more flavor. Needless to say, Marcus was there for the entire meal, checking in and making sure we had a great dining experience. Next time we visit, Virgil's will be on out To-Do List!
Food was delicious. Our server was fantastic - - she was very knowledgeable on the menu.
It was our first time here, my wife and I celebrated our anniversary as we planned, a nice, cozy environment. Definitely will be back.
I wasn’t super pleased with the food. Very dry. Tasted like it was out for awhile under a hot light before it was served to us. The staff was really nice but overall value for food was poor.
Brisket was very dry. Great service and great ambiance. Probably wouldn’t eat there again.
Wonderful food and service.!great seating!!
Our meal was good. The drinks were just ok. I do recommended.
This is a really fun restaurant to people watch and enjoy great food and unique drinks. I truly recommend making reservations and enjoying this place when you’re in Las Vegas.
The brisket sandwich was amazing and so were the nachos . We went two days in a row 😅
This is a good change of pace restaurant for the Vegas strip. It’s definitely a casual and comfortable dining experience. I ordered the brisket sandwich and was definitely disappointed with hit. It was very fatty even when ordered as lean. However, the manager was very attentive to replace it with a chicken bbq sandwich which was very good. Mac and cheese and baked beans were tremendous! I’d certainly try this place again. I’ll just avoid the brisket altogether.
This was my first time visiting Las Vegas and also having Virgil. I decided to go here for my birthday at the last minute I was able to reserve the time I wanted and I was seated as soon as I reached. The food was amazing I had the dry rub ribs greens and Mac. It was so delicious. Oh abs don’t forget the strawberry margarita. Amazing food, drinks and service.
The pulled pork was dry and presented on a piece of bread . Horrible presentation . we could have used more sauce and been presented differently .bringing the pulled pork out on a regular piece of sandwich bread was not a good look. also my chicken sandwich was nothing special you can get the same quality at Wendy’s . my french fries were stale as well.
Service was great, food was delicious, drinks were awesome. would definitely recommend !!!!!
Fantastic service! Clean and amazing food. Highly recommend.
The good presents well. The macaroni and cheese, beans and corn bread were amazing. The issue was with the chicken wings. They were served burnt with no sauce.
That was my first time there and it was great. I came from out of town and when I come back I'll go back again.
The server wasn’t very attentive. The bbq was dry. Steak was overcooked. The beans and fries were good.
Great food with excellent service. Hubbard said chicken was a bit dry, but I disagree
Great food and yummy drinks! I would definitely go back!
