Limited menu for the festival. Disappointing food, should have been busy but now understand why not. I would go elsewhere.

This place did not live up to our expectations, the service was poor. We waited for our order to be taken, whilst others who had arrived after us were served. My lamb starter was not very tasty, and my main course spicier than I expected.

Special kebab good. Samosas cold/almost frozen but were replaced and okay. Biryani a little salty. Peshwari nan very good. Lamb dish very good. Restaurant was very quiet for a Saturday. Staff/servers very attentive.

Last minute booking while on a weekend break for my girlfriends birthday. Restaurant was clean, staff were friendly and the place had a nice atmosphere. Really enjoyed the food, I had the bhuna and it was brilliant. Would definitely visit again if we return to Edinburgh.

Visiting Edinburgh -- this was a fantastic meal. Staff was exceptionally efficient and the food was outstanding.

We visited Vinyasa as part of my friend’s stag and the staff were very accommodating to our large group size of 14 people. They made things very easy in coordinating our large group as one easy table order and paying attention to the finer details such as who had a biriyani and wouldn’t need extra rice. One of our friends was unfortunately delayed by a good few hours in getting to Edinburgh, but the staff were amazing towards him and allowed us to order his curry and then keep it heated for his arrival. He had a curry and a drink in front of him within 1 minute of arriving, which was all down to the excellence of the staff. The food was incredibly tasty and everyone seemed delighted with what they ordered and highly complementary of the restaurant. I always worry about booking for a large single gender group such as this, but Vinyasa were fantastic with us and instrumental in our weekend getting off to a perfect start. I could not recommend them any more highly.

We visited on a weekend in Edinburgh the food was really good, we eat at a lot of Indian restaurants and this was on par with the best. It has a nice neutral modern theme and the service was excellent

Expensive in reality and very noisy... I do feel £6.50 for 5 poppadums and a minimal pickle tray that wasnt sufficient to eat the 5 poppadums was a little over the top... plus super expensive soft drinks! Portion sizes and flavours are however good and I realise it is Edinburgh central but I certainly wouldnt revisit
