   Nice location with easy parking. We all had the same meal -fish and chips but there was a significant difference in the quality of the 4 meals. Two looked freshly prepared, the other 2 had been standing for some time?

   Went with husband for Sunday tea, it was great. We’d tried to get in previously but it was full. Not surprised, food was lovely, service spot on, atmosphere great. Really enjoyed it, will definitely return!

   Disappointing. We used to love this place but the quality of the food and service has really deteriorated.

   We had the matured beef and it was a little bit tough but everything else was great

    This was the second visit in the last couple of months. As before the food was excellent, however for me the lamb was a little fatty and the Eton Mess could have done with a little less creme and a little more meringue. The service had improved and the location of our table was better. The open fire was a nice addition. An excellent evening and I will be going again.
